Brookdale

I was welcome to the door with a current staff. Residence was engaged in activities. The community was beautiful scenery inviting. The food was very appealing and advertising that was a computer room and a full library. I look forward to visiting again and bringing my loved ones here.

I've know this community for 20 years! Has always been very pleasant! Staff has changed over the time but has remained extremely professional. I love the residents soooo much! Everyone is my friend! Including the staff!

When I first came here. I enjoyed the tour I first meet with [name removed] she is very pleasant and welcoming. I like this place it’s very clean and staff is very nice to everyone. The residents is also very nice.

As a newly acquired title of “widow” I found myself very lonely. After much thinking, moving closer to my daughters sounded like a perfect plan, easier for them, and solving my loneliness. I made plans to visit 4 Senior Living facilities close to my daughters. The Winner was Brookdale Diablo Lodge. I have been here for 5 years, and have loved every minute. I feel like I am on a CRUISE. Each day there are choices to make on activities to participate in. The choice is entirely up to me, no pressure from anyone, just what ever I feel like. The staff is beyond wonderful. Each person employed here are hand picked by angels, the food is delicious and the choices at each meal are enormous. I am so happy with my choice, so proud to have visitors to show them my new home.

What staff we meet were very courteous. The residents that we talked to were very friendly and said that they were very happy with the place. This place is very convenient for the family.

I truly enjoy my time here at the community. I’ve made many friends and my neighbors like visiting my apartment. The food is great. I like to talk about new ideas at the meetings. I really like this neighborhood.

When I came into this community I fell so comfortable the resident I met with some nice and everything was just OK. This is a like taking care of people. I feel like I was at home and I wouldn't be brought to..

The staff is always willing to help me. I see everyone working together to make sure everyone is happy. What I love most about living here is the food! and the live music parties. I appreciate everyone.

I knew Brookdale Glen Ellyn would be the place for me before my kids even visited! If I could rate dining a 10+ out of 5 I would! It’s a great and friendly community. I am enjoying making my apartment my own!

There’s a lot of things to do at the community, there’s always something for everyone. I enjoy attending mass in the community on Fridays. Activities are wonderful and the staff is amazing. Food is excellent with a nice assortment to choose from.

Brookdale Glen Ellyn has everything I could ask for and more. Dining is 5 stars plus! Activities and outings are plentiful. The staff is amazing and very responsive. I enjoy spending time with my friends.

I have been a resident for two years and I really like living here. The staff assures that I take my medicine four times a day. The programs for recovery are exceptional as is the food. I really like not having to take care of a large home. Come over for a visit, I’m sure you’ll like it,too. With a smile! Bob Stevenson

The staff is all very friendly and by the first day everybody knows you by your first name which I thought was miraculous. Everyone is extremely helpful the [name removed] who comes to clean my room did an excellent job and she was very sweet and fun to talk to. The activities are are a wide range and so they are open to many people with different interests which I thought was very nice and there's still a lot to do just getting around and I personally do my own laundry my clothing not the bedding but if they come and do the bedding they'll change your bed if you want and do the laundry as well and then it comes back all nice and folded and put in your room. The food is fantastic they have a wide variety at least two meats and sometimes two types of fish plus several other items and you can order off menu if you like there are usually two vegetables there are a couple types of potatoes mom and there are usually three desserts. Plus two salads one they offer as a as an ongoing green salad and others that they are specialty for the day. Today I had a quesadilla for lunch and it was really excellently done really big. I may not have dinner I'm not sure. So overall I would you know say this has been a great experience and I'm really glad I came here.

They are very caring. It's a beautiful, well-situated place. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place.

I have lived at Brookdale Diablo Lodge for eight years and find my life to be full and happy. I moved here to be near family and because I was falling a lot, not good for a senior! A walker is just what I needed. Here I have friends, a choice of many activities, delicious meals( that I don’t have to cook!), weekly housekeeping and laundry service plus a hairdresser and manicurist. A lovely apartment looking out into my patio-happiness is Brookdale lodge! My mobilty problems were making my former life increasingly lonely and here are friends I can see every day. I like my own privacy too and that I have always. Zoom helps me to take classes from the university too and I have any problems with utilizing technology, there is help here for that too. A move here was the best decision I made and my children agree. Families are very welcomed here and it is fun to see babies and teenagers hanging out with us grandparents!

The administration staff was great when we were looking at different facilities. My father in law really likes it and they get him involved with the different activities they have. He is now in the memory care wing which they recommend with his declining memory.

1) Low staff turnover -- therefore they know the residents. (2) very clean. Smells nice. (3) excellent food. (4) staff is friendly with family -- they know us when we come in. (5) good interaction between staff and residents. Plenty of activities and exercise groups.

The staff is great! Attentive, Caring, Polite, Patient. The facility is clean. They have a lot of activities for the residents.
