They seem very caring keeping my dad clean. Seems like he's doing really good with them.

There is the normal turnover of staff but the new staff appear to do okay. New management may change staff in the future. Food is at the mercy of the tastes of the beholder. Some meals just don't fit the taste of some. There is always the option of using local grocery store delivery to make your own these cases. Activities are also for those who choose them. The activities are fine but some just choose not to participate in all activities.

They are very caring and responsive. My mom felt very comfortable. It wasn't the nicest facility but was maintained well for its age.

It's a beautiful facility and very clean. I liked the wide hallways and open spaces. The bathroom was very accessible. I liked the country setting with southern exposure. The head chef had been in the restaurant business so I knew the food would be good. I also chose Koselig because they had a nurse/ director. She was let go shortly after mom moved in. This was a bit troubling because it appeared that nobody was in charge. This was a negative.

My Dad was previously a resident at The Koselig House. [Name removed] was a 5 all the way. Some of the other staff, their care and friendliness, left something to be desired (some told us how overworked/under-staffed they were and wanted to know "why we would bring Dad there with covid," as if we knew that he had it!). Trust me, that was worst scenario timing for us, as well as the staff. But I do feel, after I explained and asked them to pass the word, that it got better. I understand being overwhelmed. Overall, I would recommend The Koselig House to others. I also greatly appreciate The Koselig Houses' willingness to give us a shorter period of private pay. That was a huge weight off of my Mom's shoulders and definitely decreased her stress in Dad's final days. Thanks!

I trust them with my loved one. My standards and my expectations are above average.We picked Liberty Village because of it's location, my knowledge of the director and her expectations, the friendly, open and inviting environment.

Actually everyone has been friendly and helpful. They learn the names of the residents. [name removed] was great to work with to get things rolling to get my mom an apartment and inform me of what they have to offer. The maintenance man (I just can't think of his name) was on the ball when mom had troubles with her air conditioner and toilet seat. They always have activities going on. Mom likes the library. As far as the food goes, I can only go by what mom has told me. That bring said - hamburgers very dry, cold cut sandwiches (one slice lunch meat, one slice cheese, little piece of lettuce)lacking in items and bread dries out before served, chicken breasts are usually dry as well.

My mom feels safe and comfortable there. That's all I could hope for. We picked this community, because of the location, availability, and services. I would definitely recommend it! The tour experrience was really good. Very informative and attentive.

The new director is good about open door policy. The staff is a waste of time to remind me when it is meal time. I regularly go with no reminder.

We had many friends who's loved ones moved into this community and had nothing but good words to say about them and we really liked everything we saw on the initial tour. The reason we gave it a 4 overall is because of the meals - now the problem has been fixed but for awhile with staffing and covid they were having a tough time preparing the meals for the residents. We would recommend this community to other families.

My brother chose Wellhaven because the location was great and it had availability right when he needed it, after moving back here from California. It seems really friendly there and it feels like home. The apartments are nice, the common area is comfortable and the eating area is large enough. They have tables for 4 even. The staff is easy to communicate with and they answer any questions my brother has. My sister goes every week to have lunch with him at the facility and she says it’s really good. The place itself is very clean. Housekeeping comes in about once a week and cleans his apartment and the rest of the time it’s up to him to keep it clean. As far as laundry, he’s responsible for that. They have a lot going on for activities like bridge, bingo, and euchre. We even saw a bald eagle bird show; they have a lot of different types of entertainers that come in, including a local famous artist. The other residents are very friendly and he’s getting along with everyone great. One of our aunts and people he’s gone to school with are there too, so he’s surrounded by friends and even family. The facility provides 1 meal a day, lunch, and I like that if you don’t show up to lunch, they come check up on you. He has a full sized kitchen and a 2 bedroom apartment. I think for what he’s paying, he’s getting a good value. I would definitely recommend it here.

Our mother was living here for a short time. She has Alzheimer's disease. She is 70 years old. The people here are very nice, and she had excellent care. Arcadia is a clean, quiet facility. However, the needs of someone with early-onset Alzheimer's are greater than this facility can provide.

The staff was awesome, my Mom loved the attention. She enjoyed the exercise program and entertainment. . She was very well cared for. Her rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Can't say enough about the wonderful staff. On the down side she did not like the food. We also noticed an unpleasant "nursing home odor"

This is my first real experience with a facility for my wife, who has Dementia. The room is comfortable, there is plenty of natural light. Staff is friendly and helpful, but like most care facilities, tends to run short handed. There is some disconnect with the administration due to staff changes. The food is very good. The open common areas are large, so they never feel crowded.

The amount of turnover at the director level was an issue. 4 directors in 7 months Staff turnover was an issue as well. The staff they had did the best they could. Food was ok. A full time cook at night would help. Just warmed up stuff for dinner not fresh. My father was not interested in activities. The activities director left after a few months of my dad moving in.

The staff are very friendly. They seem like they take care of my dad pretty good very clean place smells good. They could maybe try to bring the price down a little bit. I will have to talk to them about this again since they have Hospice in there now the price should come down because they are doing some of the stuff. Just my opinion.

The staff I met were always friendly. There is a current prosecution of a former member of the staff for stealing my Mom's checks and forging checks to herself. Also KH had frequent issues with management shortages. I would not recommend them. I could hope to do better.

River Falls is a lovely town. It has 2 grocery stores , an Ace hardware store, and shop and restaurants. Big box stores are about 9 miles away in Hudson. I loved it there.

We could have waited but I chose not to. I needed to have some peace of mind. The staff is wonderful; very friendly and helpful. It seems like nothing is too much to ask. It is also the Senior Center for the county. Community people are coming and going regularly. I don't mean to bad-mouth this place. It is just old.
