I give the highest marks to [name removed] and all of her staff. We placed our beautiful, sweet mother at Avalon Garland following a bad experience at another care facility. Mom had extensive physical and cognitive issues when she arrived. The care at Avalon was superb. Kind, loving care. Clean facility. Activities and great music for residents. It was a difficult end of life situation for my Mom. [name removed] and her staff were attentive and loving. They really care and focus on what matters. Dignity, respect and great care. I cannot say enough about Avalon. Helped our family with a difficult time. Mom loved Avalon, as do I! I would be happy to discuss Avalon with anyone who has a loved one who is needing care. God bless [name removed] and her tremendous staff!!!

Its an ideal place to have your parent be comfortable and respected. I witnessed how Avalon Memory Care cared for my mother as though they been knowing her since childhood. She was loved by staff and everyone involved with elderly care. Thankyou for caring about my mother. One Love

If you need a Memory Care facility for a loved one, look no further - this is the best ! Facility is cheerful and well maintained. A real family atmosphere. And the staff is outstanding. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give Avalon Lewisville a TWELVE !!!

We as a family stand behind our decision to have our mom as a resident at Avalon Memory Care. [name removed]is an exceptional Executive Director (title might have changed since her well deserved promotion). She jumps to the aide of families whenever a concern arises. I have the utmost confidence in this establishment and the staff working for Avalon.

My sister and I had to relocate our dad from Alabama to Tx rather quickly. [name removed] and the staff all made it work seamlessly and as stress free as possible. It’s been almost 8 months with dad at the Garland Avalon and we are so pleased with their care. The entire facility is clean and on the few occasions when I found dad had made a mess in his room, the staff were quick and pleasant in straightening things up. They offer activities such as a one man band to dance and sing along. Games and arts/crafts. The staff is very gentle and kind in redirecting clients. My dad has Lewy-Body Dementia which means he may not always be oriented but the staff are patient and kind. We feel very confident that our dad is being treated with dignity and respect at Avalon Memory Care in Garland.

I moved my mom in from a larger Assisted Living facility & even though she only lived two weeks at Avalon before she passed away I witnessed a great group of employees who helped her during her last days. She was treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. I saw the staff treat all the residents that way. The staff also kept the facility very clean. Very impressed with Avalon & thankful they were there when needed. Thank you.

Everyone in the company was easy to work with. We had a special last minute situation and they worked quickly to get my husband in. He was not the easiest to be around, but they managed to take good care of him.

Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of our Mom. We went from being unsure if memory care was needed to realizing it was not just necessary but was the best we could hope for. The staff was so patient and understanding. I feel their work is so much more than just a job. They truly care for the residents.

Avalon took excellent care of our Mother. They helped us get through a very difficult time and it was truly appreciated.

Great experience! For me I was able to spend quality time with her. Ladies working make sure my visit was good. They were very friendly and very busy with all residents. Very impressive. They make sure the residents are well treated, given attention, and they are always available for the needs of the residents. The care takers were able to balance their care for the residents and answer any questions I had.

It is a small facility which allows that personalized care. It's convenient to get to. The menu is varied and the kitchen has snacks whenever the clients are hungry. I would absolutely recommend Avalon Memory Care Cedar Park to anyone looking.

Our experience with Avalon Memory Care has been wonderful. Every care giver has been so kind and gentle with my husband. They have cared for him and for me as well. They keep up with the laundry which is no small undertaking when residents need to be changed multiple times daily. They also do a great job of keeping him clean and dry by checking him often. The food is always very good and they play fun music at mealtime. They also have various people who come in and perform for the residents. I have noticed how thoughtful the care givers are. They interact with the residents, they notice if they are acting cold and will tuck them in with a blanket. The staff are happy and it shows through in their level of care. They also keep the facility very clean. I'm very happy that A Place for Mom recommended them. They also work well with our hospice provider and together, they have my husband on a great routine. I highly recommend Avalon.

What can I say? A lot! Avalon Memory care is where you should place your loved one. The staff are professional and full of grace. We placed our mother there in less than a week. Very quick and expertly designed to help you make a transition in crisis. It is beautiful, warm, caring and interactive. The house heads of staff are personal and made us feel welcome and supportive of the decision to place our mother with them. I believe I heard my mother laugh for the first time in years after only 4 days at Avalon. She is being cared for in a way that understands Alzheimer’s and gives her the quality of life she deserves. I highly recommend Avalon Memory Care, it’s a gift to our family!

My mom has been in long term care for almost fifteen years. Avalon has taken care of her for almost a year. The staff at the Lewisville location has become like family. They treat her as a member of their family. We’re pleased with the care she is receiving.

The staff at Avalon are kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. From the first tour to becoming a part of the community, the Avalon team has been outstanding. Their communication is excellent, and they provide unwavering support, treating my loved one with the same care and affection as they would a treasured family member. From the caregivers to the administrative team, I cannot express enough gratitude. The facility is always clean, the food is appetizing, and the atmosphere feels warm and inviting. Avalon is made up of incredible angels who have hidden wings. We brought our father here after a horrible experience elsewhere and we cannot say enough amazing things about the staff at Avalon. They have not only connected with our dad, but most of them even know us (his family) by name! When we arrive to see our father, unless it’s very early or bedtime, they have already gotten him out of bed, showered, dressed and sitting in the TV area with a lot of other residents who are hanging out, watching TV or visiting. Also if you take a walk down the hallways where the rooms are you’ll find most rooms to be picked up, clean and beds made. Our father is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s so we know he’s not ‘there’ but the staff at Avalon still treat him like a respected individual who still matters. He may not know much of what’s going on but I can’t begin to tell you what it does to our hearts to see the unbelievable care the team at Avalon shows him and us.

Kudos to all the staff at Avalon, we are blessed to have our mother at such a caring facility. Everyone seems particularly attentive to the needs of all the patrons there, and they all seem to work very well together as a team. I recommend Avalon Memory Care in Lewisville every opportunity I get.

She walked us through step-by-step and kept us focused on the important things. She also helped us figure out what to tell my dad. We were so nervous! The Director also was really good to let us know how dad was adjusting.

My sister was diagnosed with early-onset Dementia in her late 50's. It was such a blow to our family. Things became difficult at home very quickly and she just was not safe and my brother-in-law was so overwhelmed. The lady that helped up and walked us through the admission was very knowledgeable and made the transition so much easier than what we anticipated. We love the staff and anytime we have a question or concern, they are quick to respond.
