Our family highly recommends Avalon Memory Care. The facility was immaculate, and the staff was simply amazing. [name removed] and [name removed] are very gifted, caring, and hard working along with the entire staff there. We are grateful God led us to Avalon Memory Care.

[name removed] was extremely helpful in identifying the optimal facility to place our Mom in during a very urgent and stressful time. I highly recommend using his services if you ever find yourself in a similar situation!

Even though he lived here at Avalon only a short time before passing away, my father was well taken care of. The staff is dedicated and kind. During his first few days, Dad was disoriented and scared at times. The staff anticipated this and gave him extra time and attention, sometimes just sitting in his room with him, watching TV or reading aloud to him. When they were briefly locked down for a positive Covid test, the staff made sure each resident got extra attention. One young staff member spent an HOUR in my dad's room, helping me get the new TV set up! My family and I were free to come any time and we were always welcome to participate in whatever activity was at hand. Dad was always clean and his room and bedding always fresh.

The facility was always clean with no smell of urine and the staff was always attentive and really truly cared for Mom, thanks again for everything.

My Dad was only there a few weeks. I moved him there to be closer to me to visit him more. Location and care were big on my list. Avalon fulfilled those priorities. We cannot comment on the activities because there was not an activities director at that time. I so felt comfortable with the staff taking care of my dad. The relationship between staff and the facility doctor was a plus. The staff, who was very caring, made me feel at home while I was visiting him.

My husband has been a resident at Avalon for a little over a year. We love the staff and appreciate how they go out of the way to communicate with me. It is so hard to have to place your loved one in care, but the staff has made a difficult process a little bit easier.

My sweet sister [name removed], was a resident at Avalon Keller for a little over 3 years. I visited almost daily and the staff treated not only [name removed], but myself as well, like family. The staff was quite attached to her and went out of their way to make her feel special. My family and I are so grateful for the wonderful care that she received.

I give the highest marks to all of Avalon's staff. We placed our beautiful, sweet mother at Avalon Garland following a bad experience at another care facility. Mom had extensive physical and cognitive issues when she arrived. The care at Avalon was superb. Kind, loving care. Clean facility. Activities and great music for residents. It was a difficult end of life situation for my Mom. The staff were attentive and loving. They really care and focus on what matters. Dignity, respect and great care. I cannot say enough about Avalon. Helped our family with a difficult time. Mom loved Avalon, as do I! I would be happy to discuss Avalon with anyone who has a loved one who is needing care. God bless the tremendous staff!!!

If you're looking for excellent quality of care, the staff here will far surpass your expectations! It's never easy to place your mom/grandparent in a home but this is an amazing facility that go the extra mile to care for loved ones as if it's their own family. I've had my mom's grandmother, my dad's mother, and my husband's grandmother all live here when we no longer could care for them like they deserved. They always keeps the (DAILY!) group activities lively and fun and meals are served family-style. The facility feels like an actual home and is always kept clean. My grandmother was recently put on hospice there and couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and friendly place for her to be during a hard time. The owners work there full-time to help with caregiving and ensure things are running smoothly. This is a truly special group and you will never find a better place for your family members to be!

Have been beginning to look for care for my husband who has Parkinson's Disease with Lewy Body Dementia. I was surprised when touring many places, that they really did not seem to know a lot about his particular form of Dementia. When I toured Avalon, the staff had all been there for many years and seemed so knowledgeable. Not only did they understand Lewy Body dementia, but the lady that toured me, gave me 2 names of current family members, whose loved ones had the same type of Dementia. It was such a nice personal touch and much appreciated. I feel like when the time comes, I will absolutely come back and take another look at Avalon.

Right before COVID as airports were beginning to shut down, I knew I needed to move my 95 year old mother from her assisted living, and get her close to me. I didn't have much time to tour, but was able to see a few places. Avalon's Admission's Coordinator really made the difference. She stepped in and I felt like she took the weight off my shoulders. The care staff was wonderful and absolutely loved my mom, Ruth. Avalon made a really difficult situation much easier.

Avalon exceeded my every expectation. They cared for both of my parents over several years and did an excellent job. I never once had a serious concern. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Our family highly recommends Avalon Memory Care. My stepdad was at the McKinney location on Meadow Ranch. The facility was immaculate, and the staff was simply amazing. Ashley and Keonna are very gifted, caring, and hard working along with the entire staff there. We are grateful God led us to Avalon Memory Care.

My loved one was previously a resident at Avalon Memory Care Keller and this facility is a great place. The cleanliness and friendliness was great. The staff, care services and meals were also great. This facility wasn't the right fit for my loved one, but I would recommend it to others as an option.

2 years ago, I moved my sister, to Texas from a small town in upstate NY. My sister did not have children and I brought her here to care for her. Her Dementia really progressed during COVID. I thought I would be able to keep her at home with me, but I soon realized I needed for help than what I could give. I had been walking past Avalon for several years and watched it being built. I never imagined that I would need them one day. They were so kind and loving and made my sister feel special. I visit very frequently and have been nothing but impressed with they care she has received.

My husband was diagnosed in his 60"s with FTL. It was devasting to our family. When care got to be too much for me at home (and I was still working part time) I had someone talk me into putting him in a regular assisted living. These people basically tricked me by saying that he was ok to be in Assisted Living and not Memory Care. After being there just 2 weeks, they called me and told me that he was NOT appropriate for assisted living and that I had to move my husband to their Memory Care. I did this, but it was less than a week and I was told they couldn't handle someone with FTL dementia, and that I had to move him. I was so stressed. It was a Godsend that I was able to get connected with Avalon. They understood my husband's ideas, and were patient with him. They knew how to speak to him and redirect him. I am so thankful for Avalon and their staff.

My grandmother has been a resident at Avalon for a little over a year. We love [name removed] and staff. They treat the residents like their own family. My parents always have great communication with the staff and know what is going on with her. That has been a huge comfort for our family.

It was the hardest decision to move my dad to a facility. I worked with [name removed] to find the best place. Avalon is one of the places we toured and I knew from the first visit that I preferred this location. And it has proved to be a great choice. I visit weekly and I can tell that my dad is happy and well cared for. He is smiling and content and I know he is safe and that is everything! The staff are amazing and treat the residents with kindness and compassion (and dance parties)! So thankful for all of them. Unfortunately I don’t yet know all of the staff by name yet but [name removed] and [name removed] are amazing to the families and residents!

I moved from father from Phoenix, Arizona roughly 6 months ago. I honestly was so overwhelmed and had no idea where to start to get this done. I worked with [name removed] and she walked me through this, step by step. Not only did she talk me off the ledge many times, but she helped with each detail of the move...from getting dad's medical records, to planning the transportation. Dad has settled in and done very well. I am eternally grateful to the entire team at Avalon!
