Avalon Memory Care

Avalon Memory Care was an amazing experience for our mother. From the very beginning the staff was attentive and caring. They genuinely cared for and about her. The kitchen staff made really good smelling food. The facility was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased every time we went to visit.

When it became obvious that I could no longer care for my husband at home myself we did a lot of research. Some years ago my father-in-law was in a memory care facility, and it was nowhere as nice as Avalon. We asked many questions and spoke to several different facilities. We spoke to our attorney that dealt in elder care. From him we learned what questions to ask and what to look for. The staff at Avalon was very caring and [name removed] soon adapted to living there. He even got gifts from the staff on his birthday. It was not a negative experience for him and for that we are so thankful.

My sister had early onset dementia. This was so hard for our family. Her decline was so rapid. The staff at Avalon was so loving and compassionate, We also were blessed to work with a great hospice that came into Avalon and helped care for her there. We are eternally grateful.

Went to tour the Avalon Memory Care Irving location, as I am looking for care down the line with my husband with dementia and Parkinson's. The lady that I toured with really educated me on Lewy Body Dementia. There was so much I did not know. We are a few months form needing care, but I know when we are ready, Avalon will be at the top of our list.

The staff, especially, [name removed]& [name removed]are so nice and down to earth. The facility is beautiful and very clean. Would highly recommend. The food is so good and they really love their residents. Always go above & beyond

Avalon is a beautiful facility that feels just like home! Great staff who truly care. They have such a positive energy that is very welcoming for families. The building is updated and has a great home appeal to it.

A lovely and loving place. It’s clean, it’s updated and organized. This is a very suitable place for my loved one. I have toured many places but this is the one that feels the best. I would advise everyone tour Avalon before making a decision.

Amazing staff and very clean facility. Great care and caring staff. Would recommend others to this facility without hesitation. The staff is very comforting and makes sure that every question is answered and that you have everything you need.

I moved my dad in to Avalon Irving last year. He was asked to move from the memory care that he was in because of his hallucinations. They can be very bad and the Avalon staff knows how to work with him when he is having them. We were thankful that we found good care for him.

My mom had dementia and dad was her caregiver at home. When dad was diagnosed with cancer and they both needed care, we had no idea what we would do and how to keep them together. We toured Avalon for mom, and the lady that we met with explained that they could also care for dad. We could not have asked for a better situation. So grateful for Avalon.

While touring this facility I could not have felt more welcome by the administrative staff and caregivers. The residents seemed content and well taken care of. I was pleased to see that there were 2 separate buildings, each with their own specific level of care, activities, etc. When we are no longer capable of taking care of mom at home, we will be coming to Avalon.

They made cook to order meals for my mom. I have experienced other memory care facilities and most have staff that turnover quite often. It is great to see that the staff is so consistent and they truly love the residents they care for.

Avalon has been nothing but caring and compassionate in my experience. The staff has been nothing but kind and understanding. A nice and welcoming community feel that allows for socializing and comfort while providing the care that’s needed.

This is a very good facility. It is clean with a professional and friendly staff who cares for their patients. They are very good with communication. They always go over and above. I highly recommend them.

Avalon Memory Care exceeded any and all expectations, thanks to [name removed] and [name removed]. From the care, respect, and food the staff and all is beyond awesome. Not only is it a memory care facility but staff treats and includes you as family, with a homey environment.
