I don't really have anything to compare it to to know if there is better out there or not. They were able to quickly get my mom a place. My brother seemed to think the transition was smooth. Moving in was an easy day. There are lots of opportunities for activities even if my mother does not participate in them. She says that everyone is super friendly and very helpful whenever she needs anything. She is in independent living so she doesn't really have any other kind of care to comment on. The size of the room is excellent and it has nice amenities in the room, including the kitchenette and the patio. There is a cleaning woman who comes once a week not sure how much cleaning is done. However, someone cleans the bathroom so that's the important part. The food is good, but my mother complains that it's not hot enough, but she says the servers are nice and there's plenty of food available. I have not had any bad experiences with any of the staff. Neither has my brother. He seems to feel that they help him out whenever he needs something for my mom. My mom loves the library that is available.

My experience was very nice. This is not where I feel I am ready for. I appreciate the time and effort. I have more things to do before I visit another facility.

We are very pleased to be here, however I do think it is overpriced. In January they raised our rent over $700. This all but prices it out of reach for us. I'm told it increases every year. Friendliness of staff and their helpful attitudes. Bingo! Popular and fun. Housekeeping weekly included. The people who live here make it feel so homey. We watch out for each other. Plenty of activities to join from exercise, to games, to Bible Study. Wednesday and Friday "Happy Hour" with live entertainment. Celebration and decorations for every holiday.

We are very happy with Atria. The people are nice. The food is good and they really seem. They put fresh flowers on the tables everyday. Several activities daily.

Loved this facility!!! Mindy was amazing, along with all of the staff we encountered. Front desk receptionist was also so friendly and caring!! I cannot say enough good things about them. Very very sweet and helpful!!

I was very impressed with this facility and have put a deposit down to move in [Date Removed] The person who showed us around was a vegetarian and picky eater and she eats there every day.

The apartments are a little larger than elsewhere, and the one-bedroom units are especially spacious. The staff are also better compensated, so they tend to stay longer, which really shows in the quality of care. The central dining room is bright and cheery, offering a menu of standard favorites along with rotating specials, and the bistro with its outdoor seating area is another favorite spot. An excellent driver also drops residents off at doctor’s appointments and takes them on enjoyable outings, like visits to the nature center on Mount Diablo and the aviation museum in Oakland. We’re very happy with Atria Walnut Creek and wouldn’t have found them without A Place for Mom.

The staff is really kind and they have a lot of activities so it was easy for my MIL to make friends.

There are many members of the staff that treat her like family and are very nice and welcoming and warm. They are very good at listening to your concerns and making changes to make sure you're happy. My mom doesn't eat solid foods and only eats milkshakes and she doesn't really care for the taste of the milkshakes that would be the only thing I would say as a negative. They are clean and the room size is perfect.

We've had a very positive experience. Everyone is super personable and helpful and the staff knows everyone's names.

The staff is excellent and provides outstanding care. The community also offers excellent amenities and a variety of things to do. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

There is an exercise class everyday and maintenance comes to repair anything in your room in ten minutes.

Happy with my tour of the facility. Everyone was professional and friendly. It was a great experience.

Some time ago, we brought our mom to Atria-Forest Hills temporarily. But before Iong we all recognized our good fortune in finding it and were delighted when our mother decided to make it her permanent home. It's been great for the whole family.

The facility was clean and friendly. There was a range of activities happening while I was there. The person who met with me was knowledgeable and helpful.

The best care. Very welcoming, very caring people, they have great things to keep the residents safe, happy/content and busy. They have fun with music, and have an exercise pool - like it's all there. There are walk in showers so no one falls. It's very cozy for my mom, she's met a lot of nice people in the amazing first year she's been there. Great place all around!
