Atria

Staff care- was great no complaints. Activities - were available but my dad chose to not participate. Food - was great getting out of the room 3 times a day worked well. Cleanliness- everything always seemed clean and new. Studio apt Worked well for my dad. Would recommend to any family looking for assisted living.

5 for all. Very pleased and grateful with Atria and the care they give my mom. The staff are very nice and help her even in little things like resetting her TV remote. The grounds are beautiful. People are friendly. Thank you for directing me in that direction. My mom living there has been the best decision we have made regarding her care. I told her to share away with others and I have also.

John seems to be very happy there. He doesn't enjoy the food, the rooms are very clean, the size of the room is very but pretty spacious, even the smaller one. If I could afford to go there I would. The staff was very helpful and informative, getting papers together, etc. Those who care for the individuals seem to genuinely enjoy what they are doing.

The staff made the difference. Warm and friendly and welcoming! They worked with us well when things didn't go as well for my mom as hoped when moving in. She wound up not being able to move all the way in because she got sick. But the staff worked with us and made it all as painless as possible

The room or apartment size was adequate and comfortable for one person. My spouse was the resident. Kitchen area in the room included microwave , space for dishes, table and chairs for eating in room was helpful. Meals provided by the Kitchen staff were well prepared, tasty and enjoyed by my husband. Staff was consistently welcoming, friendly, helpful, and caring about my husband, me other family members, and our friends who visited him. The facilities are exceedingly clean, well cared for, spotless, and always smelled good. Medical technicians who gave the medication three or four times a day were knowledgeable, well trained, exceedingly patient and understanding about difficult behaviors by an intelligent dementia patient. Senior staff was responsive to our requests and flexible about our ever-changing needs. The concierge staff at the front desk were incredible and their ability to be pleasant and helpful and firm; amazing given all the demands requested of them by residents and the residents' families. My family and I did need to pay attention that my husband's desires and needs were attended to or carried out properly. I believe that Atria did an excellent job for us.

[name removed] is my source of help at Atria at the Arboretum (or my correction lol) From my 1st day at the atria she has been my sounding board. She is hard to catch sometimes because she has to keep moving keeping us at 100%. She is irreplaceable! Happy to call here home.

We recently toured at Atria independent living community while looking at options for my family and we came away incredibly impressed. From the moment we walked in we noticed a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The community was spotless, smelled fresh and clean and had a very comfortable home like feel. One of the things that stood out the most was how the staff genuinely knew the residence by name and interacted with them like family. It was obvious they truly care about the people who lived there. The apartments were surprisingly spacious and very reasonably priced for everything that is offered. We were also impressed by the activity calendar, which was packed with a wide variety of events, social, gatherings and fitness classes, games to keep the residence engaged. We also heard the food is delicious. A special thank you to [name removed] who was incredibly patient, informative, and took the time to answer all of our questions. Her professionalism and kindness made the experience even better.

Atria is a wonderful community and I would recommend it to all!! Definitely 5 stars - plus great management and facility food service and staff. Awesome, they encourage all to get energetic and participate in events!!!!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are limitations regarding activities and food because of the religious aspects of the facility. There are movies every night except on Friday evening through Saturday. During this time, the media room is converted to a Jewish temple for Shabbat service. On Saturdays, that means no breakfast that has to be cooked like eggs and pancakes. Meal service also changes for high holy holidays like passover, Channuka and other holidays. The apartment sizes vary. I have a one bedroom. Depending on how much furniture you have or space you need, you may have a small full-size refrigerator or a mini fridge. You may get walk-in closets or 2 smaller closets. Some of the bathrooms have the capacity for extra shelves. The 2 bedrooms are quite spacious, though.

I was impressed with the facility. I'm disappointed that there are no rooms available at this time and we're on a waiting list. It really will depend on how long it takes to get off this list that will determine if I need to look elsewhere.

The process of getting her in there was wonderful. Flora did an amazing job keeping in contact, answering questions, and welcoming [name rmeoved]. The facility is very clean. Her room is very spacious and we love the fact that there are several activities throughout the day that she can choose from.

5 for all eight of the categories listed above, sorry I got sidetracked. The Atria is very competent in the care of my mother. The staff are very friendly and her apartment is beautiful with a balcony overlooking the yard.

I would give them all a five I find the facility and the staff very efficient and helpful It all seems to be working very well for[name removed]. The only complaint he really has is he doesn't like sharing the bathroom, but that's the way it's set up for him.

I'd rate everything at Atria a 5, except for cost. They've had nearly 12% increases each year for the last 2 years. That's unsustainable over the long haul. All other services are excellent: nursing staff, other staff, management, food, activities. Room sizes are adequate. It's a small facility and easy to navigate. My sister is very happy with her choice. Residents seem sociable and pleasant.

Everything is really nice, we are happy with our choice.

[name removed] was very friendly, she introduced staff as we were walking in hallways , on tour of the facility. I liked that there were units that had kitchens, just disappointed that none were in the building. Loved that there were a lot of exercise classes and Brain Fitness classes twice a week and many brain stimulating games as well with cards and dominos.

I had a chance to visit “Atria”, a facility located next to Highway 22, one of the busiest in our area. Yet, I was advised that the noise is minimal behind the facility. Fortunately, the building inside is very quiet and the entire interior is very impressive - luxurious, elegant and super clean. I was invited to lunch in the extremely presentable dining area. It was a very nice gesture that gave me an opportunity to interact with a few residents. One of them appeared to be an enthusiastic advocate of her current placement. She proudly announced: “We have residents who are over 100 years old!”! I think this kind of statement speaks for itself!

I truly enjoyed my lunch and visit. I think the Atria is a very nice community but I am not ready to make a decision until next year some time. I have a few concerns that will factor into my decision: I believe I would have liked a washer and dryer in my room, I would have liked to be able to take food back to my room from my meal for my dog, and since I am planning to be around for a while, God willing, I would have liked Nursing Facilities right at the Atria. I will make my decision on the staff that I meet, their openness and assistance and then see if other things are that important Planning on going to other activities and contacting [name removed].

[name removed] was amazing. [name removed] the director of nursing was also amazing. [name removed] gave me every detail and assurance I needed to know my Mom would be safe for a respite stay or extended living. She moves in on Friday.
