The staff was amazing the attention and individual care given to Mom as well as what I observed given to other's was as though they were caring for their own family members. As well as them trying to keep her engaged in activities. The food was I guess as expected for various dietary restrictions. I'm very grateful for A Place for Mom having recommended Aspen Assisted Living.

So far, the intentions of your after hours work crew are good, we don't feel given [name removed] condition the following through is adequate! I can only speak for the current residential treatment regarding my brother in law, [name removed]. I understand that he has been difficult however when he got locked out of his room a week or so back that traumatized him so he is now fearful to be outside of his room. I don't feel the staff on the swing shift has put in sufficient effort to try and get [name removed] to feel comfortable leaving his room and mingling with the other occupants. We as family members currently don't spend all day with [name removed], and even the time spent with him, we see his uncomfortableness with being outside his room. We don't have a immediate solution, however more interfacing with the staff and [name removed] may certainly help! I am sure that over a period of time, staff members get apathetic working continuously around senior citizens who have health/mental issues. However, staff members need to understand that trying to give the same approach to each residential person does not work. For each resident approaches for each person can make for a better relationship!

The best part was it was close to home I could be their most of the time it was not restricted a lot of the staff was sick or just gotten back from being sick he only stayed their a total of 8 days he was there for four went to hospital and came back for 4 days of hospice care there was confusion over his meds when I was there told them he can't swallow don't give him that had to call hospice to call the nurse while she's shoving in his mouth I pulled chunks of crushed pills from his mouth not what I expected but things were resolved and it didn't happen again thanks to hospice care!

Ashley Court offers memory care in a professional but caring manner. Private rooms are spacious, comfortable and kept clean. Wastebaskets and soiled clothing are removed quickly. Friendships are encouraged during meal times giving it a family feeling. Activities are well planned with leaders interacting well with residents.

My mom was a handful but they did a good job of working through her antics!! My mom was blind and her dementia was getting worse. She lived alone for many years so if she dropped something on the floor her only option was to get down and crawl around to find what she dropped! We had to explain to the staff that finding her crawling on the floor although not typical of most 94 year old it was a way of life for her. We feel blessed that my mom's last 2 months was spent with aides that she felt comfortable with and treated her like a person not a patient. The outpouring of love for her during her final hours was comforting! Many aides also stopped in to give us a hug as we were cleaning out her room.

My father-in-law passed. The place was fine. They were very nice and an attentive of to my father-in-law. It had a small population which allowed the staff to spend more time individually if needed with the patients.

Our mom was well taken care of by the loving staff. The staff is attentive and friendly! I would recommend Aspen assisted living to take care of your loved one! Take the time to visit Aspen assisted living.

Staff is always short. Sometimes you have to wait a long time to get let into building. Food has sometimes been severed on paper plates.Because of the price, which has gone up 5%, it is still a good value for the activities keeping them busy.

They are very helpful with their residents, getting them settled in, etc. They have been struggling to keep an activities director.

The staff is attentive, friendly and kind. They all pitch in when needed. The move in process was easy, [Name removed] was helpful and thought of everything. I would recommend Aspen to others!

Something that our family likes most about the Ashley Court of Brighton community is that they provide so many activities. Even though he doesn't want to be there he thinks the people are very nice.

My loved one is currently a resident at Ashley Court of Brighton and overall things have been pretty good for her at this facility so far. The friendliness here is great! The staff and activities are also great. The cleanliness is excellent. The care services, meals and value for cost are okay. Overall, I would recommend Ashley Court of Brighton to others.

I am pleased. I would recommend to others. It felt more like a family environment vs a facility.

I liked Aspen, but their rooms were a little small for my Dad's taste at the time. I liked that they only had 20 residents in the assisted living -less chance of getting lost in the shuffle

There were a few "blips" but 10x better than the previous facility. This is more of a "family" type atmosphere. I have not ran into any rude people, the staff are all really really good. The room sizes here in memory care are HUGE, especially compared to the previous facility we were at.

I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I toured this community and I like it. Very clean place and very friendly staff. It seemed like a really nice place.

No place is perfect, and neither is Aspen. That said, they're very good at what they do. To get the negative point out of the way, we noticed some miscommunication between staff members pertaining to treatment & medicinal requirements. But the few issues we had were quickly cleared up and always to our satisfaction. On the positive side, the number of residents is relatively small; the administrative staff is flexible and caring, and the entire staff is consistently friendly to both visitors and residents. Residents are treated with respect, addressed by name, and invited to participate in the different activities offered, never forced to do so. Some of the care givers develop very close relationships with residents who are open to it. That was really a blessing for us. The facility itself is clean, relatively quiet, and the rooms private - with the possibility to bring in some personal furnishings to make the place feel more like home.

My loved one was a resident here. It's a very nice place. It's clean, the staff is very friendly, and they provided good care. Her care level needs changed and we had to move her to another facility. But this one was great while she was here.

They provided overall good support to my loved one and our family. The staff were willing to help, and they would contact me often to let me know what was going on. We had a positive experience during her short stay there.
