My brother liked the place very much and thought everyone was accommodating . He likes the food too! He feels it is clean and everyone is nice

Staff very helpful and friendly. Food variety. Ample. Would suggest one meal choice to be more bland. Many of us older folds have issues with highly seasoned foods. My unit is ample. Apartments cramped.

The staff is very helpful. Helping me locate cart to bring items up to my apartment and very knowledgeable about obtaining services I need, such as an aide to help me unpack and organize my boxes of stuff. They helped me dealing with Spectrum and the maintenance man, [name removed] is wonderful. Getting TV on wall and so forth. My apt was freshly done, painted, choice of carpet or wood tile. The front desk help is amazing including [name removed], assistant director and the activities people, [name removed] and [name removed] have great ideas. I can't think of all the names I should mention. The meals are very good and varied. I haven't had one, I disliked. The residents are all very nice and I have made a couple new friends. I feel very safe and taken care of. You only went up to 5 but it is 10.

I found everyone to be very friendly and helpful! Apartment is small and my mom is having difficulty adjusting. She has just moved in and it will take awhile for her to adjust to apartment living. It is very clean and meals are good. Everyone is nice that lives there and helpful. We are very happy with our choice for mom to move to Independent living.

My brother is happy at Deane Hill Place. He enjoys the food. The staff are responsive to him. And generally very helpful. His apartment size is just enough room for him to be comfortable. Plus the community living room near the dining area is a pleasant place for the residents. They hold activities there.

Overall experience was very positive. Most notable is the friendliness of both staff and residents. It truly feels like a close-knit community. My dad was only there for two weeks and he enjoyed getting to know everyone. Dad had a one bedroom apartment that was a nice size for one person or even a couple. The full kitchen was a nice feature but hardly used. Washer and Dryer in the unit is a definite bonus. And the ability to pay an additional fee if more personal care is needed is a plus. Although we never got to that point I had discussions with the owner of the care company and they seemed to offer comprehensive care for a very reasonable cost. Dad really enjoyed the meals and having other friends to dine with was a plus. The only thing I noticed regarding cleanliness was the elevators were dirty and the carpet inside the elevators smelled. There were a few things like doors and walls that needed a little touch up to make the community look better. [name removed] and [name removed] are amazingly helpful, caring, and warm.

The people are very friendly. The food is for the most part good not great. Staff is friendly and very helpful. It is a long walk to laundry room for me.

Great facility, great people but the floors could use a good carpet steam cleaning. We're very happy with the care and respect they treat my father with. Very friendly caregivers in their memory care unit. Food is great too!

Everything here is wonderful! The only downside is there's still no Wi-Fi. They keep saying they're fixing it, but it's been out since September of last year!

The Villa is a good fit for my cousin as it is just the right size for her to navigate. Her room is a good size for her and she even went to Karaoke and sang! We are thrilled because she deserves to age in place safely and happily.

The care services gets a 4 only because she's not requiring extra right now. [name removed] is wonderful. Our loved one has only eaten once so far but looks amazing. We would most definitely recommend this community to other families.

I can't say enough great things about Magnolia at Stephens City. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it's a special place. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, every employee I've met has been kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, and not to mention it is always clean. This facility feels like a place where people truly take pride in what they do. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring, well-maintained, and welcoming community!

The Village was great but he never moved in. I would recommend Village at Heritage Oaks to others.

Magnolia of Orange will always hold a special place in my heart... My husband has been a resident there for 19 months... From the time you walk through the doors of this Memory Care facility, you will feel the love they have for their residents...From the special lady who cleans their rooms to the CNAs, to the care coordinator, to the Administrator... My husband is clean, well feed, (food is always good), safe, and loved...I couldn't ask for more... I'm very thankful that this facility is 10 miles from our home and I can drop in at any time... If you are looking for a Memory Care facility for your loved one, I highly recommend Magnolia of Orange....

My mother is on the younger end of the Alzheimer’s and dementia population at Magnolia, so I initially had concerns about whether the facility would be the most appropriate setting for her. However, since her admission in February, she has gained weight, become more engaged, and demonstrated a renewed desire to participate in daily activities and maintain independence. I believe this positive change is closely tied to the strong relationships she has developed with the staff. They consistently engage residents in a manner that is both respectful and supportive, encouraging participation while preserving dignity and autonomy. The level of care, compassion, and attentiveness my mother has received has provided significant reassurance during what was an extremely difficult decision regarding her long-term care placement.

I have actually been coming to this building for the last 10 years in the role of a home health physical therapist. I can unequivocally recommend Magnolia of Front Royal as an excellent place to give your loved one with dementia a loving home. The staff there genuinely care about the patients and they are trained how to handle residents with physical, cognitive, behavioral, and memory challenges. There is a rich assortment of activities for the residents to enjoy. As well, the building is not overly large and has a "homey" feel. I have also known the administrator for around 10 years. She is a kind person who is very dedicated to providing outstanding care for her residents. If you are ever faced with the difficult and heart-wrenching decision of finding a safe place for your loved one with memory challenges, please consider this assisted living facility. Walt Allen, PT
