We are getting new staff and it's getting better. Some of the nurses have been kind of nasty. The community has been trying to work with us. It's very fair, what you get for what you pay. They are very attentive to mother, I don't worry about her care, but they aren't real understanding of the family. They have just left us to fumble around, and don't do a very good job about communicating with the family, about what to expect. They have a wonderful activities director, but on the weekends they could do a bit more. Hannah was very sweet to my mom. She likes the food, I would give it a five, but I think the eating area could have been a little cleaner. I heard a lot of good things about them, but so far I haven't been really impressed.

This although sounding very nice was a no go for Mom as to the distance from my home would be about the same as Bellevue.

The staff are real friendly. I would like to see them have more activities, the dining room is off limits in between meals. Some more space for activities would be nice. There is a lot of isolation, they just eat and go back to their rooms. The food seems to okay. They do have a few activities, but we thought there would be a lot more.

Very nice, very long, and would require quite a bit of walking. The place seemed dark and the residents did not seem engaged.

I thought they did a good job overall at this facility, unfortunately it just wasn't a good fit for my loved one. The facility itself was beautiful, well kept, and clean, and the staff were all very kind and caring. The problem here was that most of the residents were at a more advanced stage in their memory care needs than my loved one, which really limited his social options. It really felt more like a warehouse for old people, for the most part everyone just sat in the common room in their wheelchairs not interacting. I think this place might be a good fit for someone with more advanced needs, but it was not a good place for us.

Viewed the facility before. It was just okay. Didn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling from the visit.

No offsite activities offered. Rachel was very nice and helpful.

We moved mom because they didn't have room for her and she needed to be in a memory care unit. They changed ownership there in the last 6 to 9 months and I really noticed a decline. When your main people in charge leave a community something's not clicking right, I noticed it wasn't as clean, the staff was pretty good but their food wasn't that great. She kept trying to get out of riverwalk and they're right by the state road so they really felt responsible. It was acceptable but when they changed ownership and the main staff people in all the departments were gradually leaving I just don't think things ran as well. Before the management would check up and see how things were going, I never even met the new people and they didn't keep up with the cleaning.

A little far out of the metro area, but a lovely facility and great prices.

-Liked the director. -nurse in building 24/7 - LOVE THAT -Full fridge and microwave -Encourages Hospice if desired -Docs make visits here or they -will take to dctor apt if in area.

My brother has been a resident for several months now. Lamar Court is a very friendly, welcoming place to live. They are however understaffed. This puts pressure on the hard-working staff who do their best and on the residents who are not getting their needs met in a timely manner. Activities are great. The cook is excellent but the service which is contracted out is very poor. Nursing care is excellent. The cost is reasonable.

My parent has been at Pin. Place for approx. 3 years. The staff is great but management is rude and uncooperative. They keep changing chefs. Currently, the food is awful -- mostly carbs, little meat, seldom a vegetable, and forget about raw food. They think a salad is canned peaches. I think that Enlivant could do much better.

My mom was at this place for a while. The staff is good. BUT the food is not healthy and there is no exercise programs at all.

Lamar Court keeps trying...Seems like consistent staffing turnover as well as quality maintenance challenges. Finally getting much delayed updating. Cooks change more than the menu. Reminders for your loved one needs are an asset. Medical staff tries -- had has improved of late. Organization would be key improvement. Current director is trying to improve the property but so much to do. Fairly good activities for residents to enjoy. Nice to have a stylist come for residents.

The rehabilitation services at Crystal Pines Health Care Center are great. They really helped our loved one regain their strength. The community was close to home and convenient visiting hours. The staff were all very friendly but struggled to communicate clearly. They were not able to address my concerns on multiple occasions. The community was clean but did have some odors down the hall.

Mom was at Monterey Park for a short rehabilitation stay. The staff were nice but they did not follow through with helping build up her strength. She did have a lot of her clothes come up missing from the laundry. They did not have a lot of activities to offer. The food seemed to be ok and it is a restaurant style dining room. They did not offer any chairs for visitors in the dining room. It was clean for the most part and they have a garden and patio outside for the residents to enjoy.

I thought I was going to stay at a rehab to recover from an injury to my foot but I discovered this community is for assisted living. The staff is friendly and attentive, they brought my food to my room. During my stay I had a small problem, I was not brought my meal at times. I had a physical therapist help me and I was not too happy here and I would recommend this community if they need assisted living.

I only toured the facility but was not impressed. The independent living side was bright and clean. However, the assisted living side had strong urine odor and not as clean. Didn't feel up to standards for the price.

The independent living side appears nice, but the services are lacking. No one to acclimate your parent to anyone else. the cleaning isn't much. Clothes disappear from the laundry rooms. Staff is nice, when your parent actually has some medical issues, the angels people level of expertise is inconsistent. There is a lot of turnover. The front area has been grungy looking from all the time I've seen it, there is no real outdoor area except for where all the cars come and go with exhaust fumes. Don't consider the assisted living, as I a good place for care, as the staff there seem even worse. If your parent is a diabetic, don't expect any special menu choices from them. My mother's AC unit is not really working after I had them fix it twice.
