We are happy with our decision

There are exercise classes, WII bowling, corn hole toss and a social hour. There are always a lot of activities to do and everyone wears a mask. Our apartment is fairly nice, we have a one bedroom with a den and a fireplace. We have a pretty good very and we are happy. It is also convenient for grocery shopping.

Excellent facility

My mother and an aunt have been at the Waters of Highland Park since 2016. They both are receiving excellent care and love the staff. My wife and I visit often and have found everything to be exceedingly well run. When I need to communicate with the staff via email or over the phone every question is answered promptly. We feel fortunate to have chosen them.

I was very impressed with this facility. Very clean and beautifully decorated. The Hallways were open and wide with many common area's with windows. [Name removed] met with me and she was extremely helpful, patient, and willing to answer all of my questions. This property offers a Moderate Rent program that gives a discount. The rooms are spacious, even the studio's, and have lots of natural light. I was given lots of documentation with nursing options and pricing, sample menu's, over all information documents and a business card to call with further questions. I was very comfortable, and the residents were all friendly and happy to talk with me. This would be a great place for my Dad.

Nice facility and staff

This was a very nice facility and the only reason why I did not pick this community for my Father is because of the location. It was just too far for me to travel to see him. I really liked the staff. They seemed very nice and they answered all of my questions clearly. I would recommend this community to other families.

My mom is in the right place!

This facility is just fabulous. Every time I talk to my Mother, she sounds more content every day and she knows that she is in the right place. The building itself is very nice and clean. My mom is staying in a 1 bedroom apartment that is over 800 square feet. Before she moved in they actually replaced all of the carpeting and painted the walls. For activities they have exercise classes, cards, an in-houses hair stylist, and a driver that can take you to appointments. I would recommend this community to other families.

Dad is happy hee

I'm so glad we chose this community for dad. He is settling right in. The ratio of staff to the residents are phenomenally GOOD!! The caregivers are so calm and friendly with my dad they take extra time to get him engaged in the activities. Like model car racing and actually flower arranging he enjoyed that. The food is great and plentiful so he not looking for more throughout the day. Its kept clean inside and well maintained on the grounds. I would recommend this community.

Another Happy Camper

We have had great service at The Waters with our father who suffered a storm of strokes over a year ago. The transition from the Rehabilitation Center to Assisted Living at The Waters went very smoothly. [name removed] was and continues to be a gem to work with concerning dad's admittance and residence there. Dad was living independently in his own home prior to his strokes. The staff at The Waters helped him to get settled in and acquainted with all the residents from the get-go and he has since made many friends there. We can't say enough good things about the level of care dad has and continues to receive there. We would consider dad another happy camper residing at The Waters. What a blessing it has been to our family to have dad living there.

The "Perfect" Place for Mom!

I knew when I walked in the door that this was the perfect place for my mother! It looks like a warm and inviting 5-star hotel, with beautiful decor and lots of natural light. But, the deciding factor for me was the people! The staff is friendly and caring, and definitely "called" to their jobs! There are lots of activities and outings, and all of the residents seem to look forward to them all. Lastly, you can't beat the location. Wow! 50th and France right our your door! Once I spent some time here, there was no reason to look elsewhere -- I had found her home!!

A Great Experience!

An unfortunate fall had us looking for an immediate opening. The we lucked out that Kingsley happened to have an opening! The staff have been absolutely wonderful and so helpful through a difficult transition. On site medical care, great food, a welcoming atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff await anyone at Kingsley. We are impressed that staff always calls my mother by name and they seem to always recognize all of us (family) by name as well when we visit. It is kind of like a big family at Kingsley and we enjoy our visits as well. Kingsley is a bit smaller than other senior living communities out there, thus the "family" feel. It feels like "home" compared to others we have looked at. We definitely picked the right place for my Mom to recoup and recently she has been talking of staying permanently! (A relief for family) The staff keeps family updated on happenings at Kingsley that we may want to be involved in and keeps us abreast of any physical needs/medical needs that my mom may need. I cannot say enough good about our experience with Kingsley. We feel that my mom is enjoying life again and is safe and well cared for with any needed resources at her fingertips.
