My mother liked the Eastgate Manor a lot. She liked the positive vibe that she got when she walked in the door. The place was great, but at the time that we turned, they did not have a room available. Also, at the time they did not have indoor parking. If it would not have been for those 2 things, she would have moved there.

They offer a lot of activities and day trips at Eastgate Manor. The staff are communicative and welcoming of mom. They let her know that the community is here for her and that she has a lot of voice in how things go for her. They are patient, helpful and understanding with the family. She is pleased with the food. I would recommend this very clean community.

The community at The Pointe at Kilpatrick has worked out very well for our loved one. We are satisfied with the care that they are providing our loved one. She is enjoying the variety of activities that they offer for the residents to participate and enjoy. She is also fond of the variety of meals that they serve at The Pointe.

We were so relieved we found such a great place at a budget my dad could afford . My dad is living here and it is just wonderful. Very modern clean rooms with a very HELPFUL and honest caring staff. This place cares about you as a person. My dad had been living at another assisted living place in same town during the winter months and it was a lot more expensive, rooms were out dated, the help was undependable at times . They would make promises they could not follow-through with , some of the management personnel would make false accusations about our family and tell everyone your business and charge you extra fees that you thought was included. WE WOULD RECOMMEND WOODRIDGE TO SENIORS THAT NEED SOME EXTRA CARE IN A AFFORDABLE BEAUTIFUL FACILITY

I liked the facilities. Apartment was a bit small. Negative is they dont allow pets. Big positive is that they accept Medicaid. Gathering requested documentation. In my list for consideration.

The Pointe at Kilpatrick has done very well and has always been upfront with everything since the start. They were just really easy to reach and communicative and they were very responsive to the questions I had.

Sometimes they kind of forget to come and get her for meals once in a while. For the most part everything is quite good here though, I would give it a four out of five stars. Overall the place is very nice.

They are doing a really good job, I am very happy with them. They have transportation to church and things, and plenty of activities. The only complaint about the food, is that there is too much of it. I would give them a five, we are really happy with them.

John was terrific. The facility looked beautiful with wonderful activities going on. Plenty to do and so many friendly faces. Would love to consider this as my aunt's new home but she may need more care than can be provided.

The Pointe at Kilpatrick is immaculate. My mom is no longer there, but while she was there, the staff is great. They were very helpful. I couldn't have chosen a better place. That's where I would want to be if I had to be placed in a home. It's beautiful!

Great facility for those with minimal needs.

She is very happy with it, and is very happy with the fact that if she wants a hot fudge sundae, or something not on the menu, she can ask for it and they will get it for her. The dining experience is good. The atmosphere was very comfortable for her, not too fancy, she can wear jeans and sneakers. The sinks are small and not very convenient for hair washing. They have a switch or clip or something that they can set so they will know if the residents have come out of their room in the morning, after a while they will knock and check on them if they haven't come out. We couldn't be happier with how smoothly things have gone.

My loved one has been here for a few months now, and she seems to be happy here. They do a great job looking after the residents, and the staff are all very friendly and professional. The food seems above average for these types of places, and has been good every time I've tried it. I really liked the atmosphere here, it was a bit more personal and warm than the other communities I looked at. The woman in charge of admittance, Carrie Svenson, was particularly helpful in helping us work through all the paperwork we needed to take care of.

Lovely 2 room apartments. Didn't like breakfast buffet. Poor TV room. Very expensive.

Everyone I've meet has been helpful and very friendly. When my husband was first placed my family was updated as to his progress and how he was adjusting on the very first day he was there. I am impressed with how clean everything is. Placing my husband was one of the hardest thing I've ever had to do but knowing he is being cared for and watched over is something I don't have to be worried about. I appreciate that there is a place such as pointe at Kilpatrick that truly cares about the person in their care.

I would rate it 4/5. Always room for improvement. Things I like The activities, the food menu and the in house doctor's visits for podiatry and ophthalmology. They also have a beautician that comes out once a week. Things that could improve. Feeding the residents seems a-little like feeding inmates just quickly passing out food giving out dessert even before they are finished with their meal even if it's ice cream that could melt. When looking for a place for your loved ones you need to put in the foot work and look at several facilities before making your final decision The Pointe was the right fit for my parents

Staff and help is friendly, happy and call you by name. Food is good and portions are large, you can order small portion portion.

Communication about medicine is not very good. Not a lot of communication with the nurses. Not a lot of communication on other things either like not showering or skipping a lot of meals. Have to run into them by chance to get that info or have convo. A lot of repetitive activities but good they have them. Food is ok and nice there is options.

I don't have any negative feedback whatsoever . The facility has been a good fit for my mother in law. As I have recently toured facilities for my mother, I've noticed some are newer, brighter, and have staff that are more engaging with their residents. That is why I gave most areas a 4 rating. Eastgate is a little quiet, which has been fine for my mother in law.
