[name removed] was so kind and helpful. we know my mom would love to live here. unfortunately, my mom passed away unexpectedly before moving in. I would suggest this place to anyone looking to move their loved one in to a senior building. the best!

We chose The Pointe at Pontiac because of the cleanliness of the facility and the way it was laid out was easy for her to get around and all of her needs were met without her having to go far. I cannot think of a bad thing to say about them and I would definitely recommend to others looking.

I have been touring many communities for my aunt. This tour, building, and the woman giving the tour was the best yet. I never felt pressured or like I was just a job to her. She took the time to explain, giving me more information that I had gotten from the other places I visited combined. We are now working on getting my aunt into this place. Wow! This community does not disappoint. My mom is thrilled to be living here. She moved in 4 months ago and has been very pleased, we are very grateful she loves where she lives.

We chose La Grange Pointe because it is more of an apartment complex facility but has special services for seniors so it doesn't feel like you are going into a nursing home. The apartment sizes are really nice. I would recommend them to others that are looking

This place was close to home and work for me. Very clean.

The Pointe at Jacksonville is a wonderful place. The remodeling being done is beautiful. The staff is always pleasant and very helpful to visitors and residents. The rooms are spacious and very nice. They always have some kind of activity for the residents which is great! Also the food is very good and the snack bar that is available 24 hours is awesome!

The transition for us was a stressful time in our lives and the staff at Eastgate made it seamless and welcoming for our dad. [name removed] helped us throughout the process and we couldn't be more happy.

My mom’s move to Eastgate Manor during a pandemic was incredibly smooth and easy. When my dad died in December, we needed to literally “find a place for mom”. I lost a lot of sleep worrying how that was all going to happen smoothly and how it was going to be financed. Enter [names removed]. They explained EVERYTHING in as much detail as we wanted. They broke the process down for us into manageable pieces, taking the time to answer ALL our questions and they were always available to us, and set realistic expectations. Their professionalism and compassion is so very refreshing. I cannot thank [name removed] enough for his helpful demeanor and kind spirit. His flexibility and understanding during the move in process was amazing! [name removed] at the front desk feels like a family member. Mom loves the food and variety, and she enjoys the currently available activites. Our sincere appreciation goes out to dietary, housekeeping, activities and the caregivers who are exceptional!

The staff at Eastgate has the residents best interest at heart. We believe the care provided is exceptional. The management is fair and consistent in decision making with the care of the residents as the prime motivator. We have found the support staff to have a real kindness when working with the residents. I know when I go to bed, I can sleep easy knowing my mother is in a safe, supporting environment.

My brother had a 2nd stroke in [date removed]. It quickly became apparent that he would need a full-time supportive living environment. I heard many good things about Eastgate Manor from a couple of sources. From my initial call to the admissions director, to the day my brother moved in until now, I have nothing but good things to say about Eastgate. This was all new to me, & I desperately wanted to find a the right place for my brother. The admissions director who assumed that position 3 years ago was very patient, knowledgeable & caring. He guided me along with the finance director through the admissions, move in & financial process. A Facetime call was arranged with my brother to determine what additional resources would be needed to support him as a resident. Every staff member we have encountered has been wonderful & kind. They are very COVID conscious & protective of their residents. My brother is happy & safe in a beautiful apartment in a clean, caring & friendly environment.

I am very happy here at La Grange Pointe. I chose this facility because it is in a great location, it is in a suburb of Chicago so it is by a lot of shopping and restaurants. You can practically walk to anything. The apartment sizes vary, they have from 1-3 bedroom apartments. I am in a 2 bedroom and it is very spacious and well laid out. I would certainly recommend, everyone here is friendly and willing to help.

La Grange Pointe -- what a beautiful building in a real cute hometown setting. Everything in this facility is so tastefully appointed. More important -- clean! The staff is beyond accommodating. All the residents have smiles on their faces which means they must be happy in their home. A real plus? Stepping out the front door and you are on a street with restaurants and so many cute stores & boutiques for you to explore. An excellent choice for Mom & Dad!! ??

My mom is not enjoying the food now like she was when she first moved in. The main meal is at lunch time, at dinner they have lighter options, like salad or sandwiches. My mom is not liking the dinner options lately. We really like the staff and her room is wonderful. We are glad we were able to get her into The Pointe. My mom has been healthier in the last 5 months she has lived at The Pointe then she had been in the last year living on her own.

My family looked at many assisted living places, and our goal is to get my brother from rehab to this facility. We don't know if my brother can make the transition from skilled nursing to assisted living , but if if he does we are definitely going to Kilpatrick. My aunt stayed at The Pointe in Pontiac for 7 months up until her passing. It was a great facility with people who cared, the employees went above and beyond to make sure her needs were met . The number one reason for choosing them was because for a monthly fee you can have a pet in your room, so she didn’t have to leave her beloved cat behind! They have lots of activities going on too!

My parents are here currently and seem to like it. The building is very clean, the help is very friendly, and the meals are really good. The staff is very responsive and seem to be knowledgeable about the type of care they need. The facility offers different activities every day like bingo, bunco, and occasional outings. They also have a hairdresser available, which is very convenient. The thing I like most about this community is that, even if a resident runs out of funds, they won’t kick them out. They’ll work with them to find different options of paying. From the overall experience our family has had with this place, I would recommend them.

I am very happy with the people here. Everyone is super friendly, the facility is clean, and there are tons of activities. Everyone is on a first name basis so it’s great. They have group exercise classes every day, they provide bingo, trivia, live entertainment, and right now they’re big on the Christmas activities. From what I have observed the food is good and well balanced. I most definitely recommend this facility to other people that are looking into their options. The location is convenient for me and I like their inclusive pricing.

We are having an excellent experience in this community. My mother is doing very well, and I'am comfortable with her move to this community. They have nice staff, and they have been helpful, and kind. Everything has worked out very well for us in this community, and I would recommend it.

Staff and residents were very friendly and the facility was clean and bright. Staff answered all the questions I had at the time so I had a better understanding of the process which helps me to filter the voluminous amount of information that is out there regarding Assisted Living to find what my family needs.
