I haven't found anything I don't like at Katella Senior Living! I came here with my husband when he was very ill and they fulfilled all of his needs completely. He has since passed and Katella Senior Living remains my home.

I am very thankful for the experience I had with all the staff at Katella Senior Living. Anna provided me with all the necessary information I needed to make an informed decision regarding the living situation for my grandparents. She was always available to answer any of my questions and for a tour. The staff at the front desk was also helpful and friendly.

We chose The Commons on Marice because of the convenient location to where we live, the cleanliness of the facility, and the staff were so welcoming. It was just a cultural fit for my mother in law, it is very warm and comforting. The apartment sizes here are very nice. They have nice common space. Atriums, multiple outdoor spaces, a library, etc. She absolutely loves the activities here and the food has really improved since the dining room has opened. I would recommend to others looking.

The staff is amazing and know my loved ones name immediately. I'm impressed with the nursing staff but I would like to see more encouragement to participate in activities. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience

My loved one has done well here. I would suggest the community to others for their loved ones. The food can be cold when delivered to the residents, in the dining room. The taste is great for my loved one, along with the service received. You have to make appointments online to see your loved ones in the community.

We have been very satisfied with the care at Katella. My mother in law is happy & well taken care of. She’s making friends and having a good time.

My fiercely independent 94 year old mother was hospitalized with acute pneumonia. After being in hospital/skilled nursing for about 6 weeks, I was told that I needed to find her another place. She was not in a good place physically or mentally; I was distraught and panicked until I started talking to one of the directors at Katella Senior Living. I don’t know what I would have done without her support. She kept reassuring me that it would be okay. As soon as there was a room available for my mom, she got her in and made sure that it was a smooth transition. For the 1st time in weeks, I was no longer in crisis mode. Since my mom has been there she has regained most of her strength and her mind is as sharp as ever. I was worried that she would be upset to be in assisted living instead of at home, but the staff at Katella Senior Living treat her with such dignity, respect and compassion that I think she feels better about herself being there. You won’t find a better place.

We had to move our grandmother into a care facility in the middle of the pandemic, which was an extra stressful and anxious process. The staff at Katella was so understanding and gracious. They went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and to welcome our grandmother. They see her as a person, as part of their family, and continue to show great care for her health and well being. I'm so thankful we found her such a wonderful environment!

We really love this community, there is not a person there who has not been helpful. Our father was only there for about a month, and we swear everyone works there are angles. Even though our father is no longer there, they have stayed very in-tune with our mother. The love and care they show her really stands out. There is so much to do there, the residents can keep as busy as they want or just relax. The food is great, and even during covid times they really did bend over backwards. We would highly recommend this community.

I found The Commons on Marice to be very pleasant, and clearly much more high-end than other places we viewed. Their tour had a much more professional feel to it. The community felt not impersonal, just maybe more detached simply because the scale was larger. In the end, it was more high-end than would have made my loved one comfortable. But it was a lovely place, and they did a very professional job.

This is the best place and we are so glad we chose Village Senior for our mom. The staff are all so gracious and kind and go out of their way to say hi and see if we need anything every time we visit mom. The place just feels so good and lively!

[name removed]did a great job of showing us the facility and apartments. The facility was very deluxe with lots of natural light and nice open areas. The dining rooms, including the private dining, were very nice. The apartments had granite countertops throughout, with well designed large bathrooms. Can stay in apartments when transition from Independent to Assisted Living.

The care at Katella Senior is wonderful, the staff are very nice and the cleanliness of the community is very well kept. Our loved one really liked the meals in the beginning, now they are getting a little repetitive but they are still good. The activities are relatively limited, but they are a pet friendly community. A really lovely place, but it is close to a busy street and the parking is tricky.

The staff members and their care services are top notch, everyone has greeted us so kindly and welcomed us with open arms. The meals that our loved one likes because she is a very picky eater are ridiculously good, but all the meals are great. The activities are still restricted because everyone is not vaccinated yet, but the dining room is back open. The grounds, architecture, the apartments just sold us immediately on a different level. We instantly choice and committed to this community.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. The staff was very friendly and shared a lot of great information. The tour was well done and They answered all our questions also.

It really depends on what your are looking for. It is the most expensive place in the county. It does have nicer facilities then their competitors. The staff are good, and accommodating with communicating with family members out of town.

We chose Westpark Village because the base price was cheaper and my son works within the corporation so it made it more personal. The room sizes are very nice and spacious. The staff seem to be very helpful, my mom really likes a specific couple of them, so we have been pleased with the care. My mother is as happy as she can be here and I would recommend them

The facility was impressive as was the staff. This is a facility I will consider for my mother!

We did a virtual tour with Terracina Grand and it was a very nice facility. They did a great job in the difficult circumstances and showed us around the rooms as well as the courtyard. It was very convenient for my sister and I since we live in different states with different time zones. We were able to tour it together virtually and ask any questions that we both had.

Autumn Glen was our second choice. My mom loved it and the staff were all very friendly during our tour. The only reason we went with a different facility was just because the size of the room was smaller here.
