Cypress Palms was amazing for my Mom to live as independently as possible. She was mentally with it but physically in a wheel chair and needed help with dressing, bathing, medicines, and bathroom needs. She was able to stay active and involved. (exercise,Tai Chi, Hydroponics, Scrabble, Virtual Reality) It was wonderful to see her so busy. If she was living at home she would of been a shut in and pretty much just watched TV. She met some wonderful friends that were other residents as well as the people that worked there. I was able to get Mom out of the hospital back to Cypress (which was her home) where she passed away with dignity and with the loving Nurses and aides who cared for her. At first I was not happy with how expensive the care was but the last few days proved how this was money well spent!

Really liked this place. Friendly staff, lots of in-house activities available, patio in every room and good sized rooms. Also, very quiet. Walked down the halls to visit a resident and heard nothing from other apartments (no TV or talking). Assistance is extra, cost based on how many hours/month it's needed. But base price of apartment is reasonable.

My Mom has lived at Miramont Pointe for about 4 months now as an independent resident. She is very happy, loves the food, loves the care, loves the services, loves the staff, loves the community. We are very happy with her choice to move there.

It is very nice, the rooms are roomy and quiet, the people and staff are very friendly.

When it was time to get my Mom settled into an assisted living location it was difficult to know where to start.....found a Place for Mom online emailed in my request and within an hour had my advisor give me a call to clarify our needs, financial requirements and locations to help narrow our choices. By the end of business I had 5 to choose from that met our criteria. [Name removed] with Amethyst Gardens was one the phone before the end of the day and was able to answer our questions and get us an appointment for a tour withing 48 hours. My Mom is very happy there. Lots to do the food is good and best of all she can get help on site if and when she needs it. No more house to worry about. She is enjoying the interaction of other folks her age close, she can go to her apartment to have "me" time. Lots of activities that interest her and for me best of all she is up and moving around getting stronger everyday and enjoying her golden years by having the day to day grunt labor being addressed by the folks at the Amethyst. The staff is awesome, the facility comfortable, she has transportation available for outings or necessary things, medical staff on site 24/7 and best of all her 3 cats are along for the ride. Win win. She is on a constant cruise without the Dramamine.

I was dreading the experience, mainly because of horror stories I'd heard and knew no matter what, my mom would be upset. From our first meeting I was put at ease seeing how happy the residents were and how they reacted to the staff. My mom was hesitant and had her walls up, that is until she saw her room. Her beautiful face lit up. Still I wasn't sure how it would play out. The support I received and the ease of getting my mom placed was unbelievable. My mom is unexpectedly happy as she is so well taken care of but still feels in control of her own life as she is well loved and respected at the Inn at the Amethyst.

Options for Seniors here in Cleveland was a Godsend! They went out of their way to make sure everything was scheduled, found a good match for my mom and everything else that was needed with not a lot of notice so my mom could remain in her apartment while I was out of town for a weekend. I would choose them again in a heartbeat! Thank you [names removed]

We would like to give a big shout out to A Place for Mom and Amethyst Gardens in Peoria, Arizona. We’ve used A Place for Mom services twice this year and they’ve done a fantastic job with their referrals. We just moved my hubby’s parents from Virginia to Arizona to be closer to us. We chose the Amethyst Gardens because of their beautiful grounds, fantastic food, and great apartments for such a reasonable price. They have also been very flexible in working with us on the move-in date, accommodating their beloved dog with a fence outside their sliding glass door, and being very thorough with Dad’s Parkinson’s care by the nursing staff. It’s truly a wonderful facility with very friendly staff and residents. They also offer many fun outings and gatherings for the residents to get involved in. I highly recommend Amethyst Gardens to anyone looking for a great assisted living facility to take care of your loved ones! This one is definitely worth your time & money!

Very nice. Clean. All of my questions were answered. "Whole foods diet with focus on local, organic and sustainable ingredients." "We incorporate the Montessori approach ... to best discover the treasures within each resident." Hands-on activities. [Name removed] was well-prepared for my tour. Medical offices on the campus so no bus rides to distant doctor's office.

I would consider this place if my mother would move to the Twin Cities to be closer to us. It's managed by the same company as the facility that we moved our mother into so would be similar services except it is also a continuous care community which is a bonus.

I can't say enough good things about the staff and facility. Everyone is so kind and ready to please. They worked quickly and efficiently to put everything into place for my mother, answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction, and treated us like royalty.

My parents and I have lived at Pathways on the Park since [date removed] and we really love it here everybody is so nice, and the staff are really nice, and the place is always clean and welcoming. I give the Pathways on the Park 5 stars.

I have lived here 5 years. I am not even tempted to leave this sweet little community. Of course it's not perfect! However, I still think it rates 5 stars. I am very pleased with all it has to offer, especially the pool area, the pier, the close proximity to Honeymoon Island, the friendly community feeling, & the pretty clubhouse with all it's activities. I've had a couple of minor maintenance issues recently. I am amazed at how quickly they were resolved! There are so many apts here (180?), but only 2 maintenance guys! I don't know how they get everything done. They should hire another guy. If you're looking for an enjoyable place to live and you don't require all the granite & stainless steel, this might be just the place for you. It is for me!!

We moved in here in May, and couldn't be more pleased. [Names removed] were friendly and helpful as they showed us our beautiful, spacious apartment. We had lived downtown in a nice, but more expensive and smaller apartment. [Name removed], the maintenance man and [name removed], in charge of housekeeping are jewels as well, helpful and friendly. We live on the top floor and have the most spectacular view you can imagine. The neighbors are friendly, and, well, I can't go on lest you think I am being paid to say this. I assure you, I'm not!

The Residence at Timber Pines is beautiful, friendly staff and residents are happy. Everyone says they wish they would have moved in sooner. I couldn't agree more. They provide wonderful care and many opportunities to participate in activities and encourage involvement in the community giving a sense of purpose. I have not found a better place to live out your twilight years.

This community is beautiful. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Its a big building but residents are out and about and willing to point you in the right direction. My mom's biggest concern was meeting people. I have no worries she will find friends here, everyone is so kind and wanting to make friendships. They have lots to do for the residents and their families! The common areas are well kept and building is clean. I'm very impressed! I only toured a couple weekends ago and was so pleased. My tour guide was friendly and down to earth, you can tell she really cares and wants the best living situation for your loved one. I was highly impressed all around. I'd definitely suggest taking a tour and moving your loved ones here!!! They even offer temporary occupancy!! Don't knock it until you try it. - [name removed]
