The Fairmont is a very pretty place. The staff is outstanding. They have done a tremendous job during covid. I feel very safe here. The staff has a "personal touch".

I moved here on [date removed] as the result of a serious car accident. I was test driving a new car, in Manassas. I was about to make a right turn. A car came up behind me and slammed into my car and our car hit a telephone pole. I was badly injured and spent 30 day care place, then moved here to Fairmont. I like it very much. My apartment is cozy and comfy. The food is good in every way. It is well run in every way.

I've enjoyed residing at the Fairmont 22 months and I've appreciated being here, near my three married children. The time, 12 months, prior to the shut down was the best time with activities and entertainment with the building. But I appreciate the efforts of management and staff to overcome the necessary restrictions. I also appreciate the cost of the lease which was lower than many other senior residences.

My daughter lives in Nokesville, VA she took me to see this place and we looked at one in Illinois. This was better for me to come here.

except you one of the most helpful and genuine awesome person out there. It's not often you come across someone who goes above and beyond to relieve your stress regarding relocating, make sure you feel welcome and really really helps you! I found her amazing!! When I was facing hurdles regarding selling my home and moving into Lighthouse, she was so understanding, giving me time and reassurance that I would be able to move in with no worries. I can't imagine another apartment manager would have been that way or even cared. She allowed me to stay in the guest Suite in the interim between selling my home and moving in, who else would have done that?? I am grateful to her and so please she's on staff here! I moved in finally in and couldn't be happier.

My father is a new resident to the Lighthouse Pointe Community in Chesapeake, VA. I worked with [name removed] throughout the transition process and I'm pleased to say that everything has been perfect. Her quick response to inquiry and ability to handle challenges are compliments to her care and compassion. I feel happy knowing my father is in great hands at Lighthouse Pointe.

The staff at Lighthouse Pointe has been great. My father moved in about a month ago and each time he (or we) needed assistance they were on it immediately. They have been MORE than helpful, day or night; rain or shine. Staff goes above and beyond. Not to mention, the property is beautiful and very well maintained!! Highly recommend.

Whealdon Estates is a great fit for our loved one, they do offer a lot of activities, before COVID they had bingo, arts and crafts, and exercise classes every day. Our loved one enjoyed the ice cream snacks in the afternoon when they would offer them. They really do try their best to keep the residents active and engage, as well as encourage them to come out of their rooms. We loved the people which sold us at first, the residents and staff were always open and greeted every body.

I have lived here almost 2 years. [name removed] is very competent and friendly. The staff each calls us by name and activity interested in me. They all work together beautifully. I am glad to live here.

The staff members at Benton House are a five plus, the value is good despite COVID. The cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff members in the beginning really stood out to us. They do all types of fun things at this community when it was not COVID. The would bring in musicians twice a week to play for the residents, and have monthly activities that would surround a certain topic. The activities director is very sweet and very engaging. The manager is very engaging as well. We were able to eat meals at this community before COVID and the meals are amazing. They have different food options to choose from depending on your dietary restrictions

My mother has flourished since moving to this community. The staff are knowledgeable and willing to help in any way. The food is wonderful, tons of activities and the salesperson [name removed] answered every question and concern.

I toured the community today and was very happy I did. What a friendly place to call home. The residents were so nice and having a wonderful time. The rooms are so pretty, the were just remodeled. I look forward to calling this my home.

We think this community has a great value for your money. What we really liked about this community was the location, it was very close to where we live.There is also a nice track around the community and even with COVID we are still able to take our loved ones out to walk around the track. When you walk the track on the backside of the building you walk through their garden, and the front is a normal sidewalk. The servers that bring the residents their meals are great, the house keeping lady is wonderful our loved ones love her. She is very quick and efficient. We really liked and appreciated the professionalism of the staff members. They are starting to bring back some of the activities they had before COVID.

My mom lived there about 4 years. I and my mom were dealt with professionally and with a lot of sensitivity during her stay. I appreciate the staff and the professionalism they demonstrated.

My mother moved into Washington Commons. I really like it, and my mother really likes it. They serve three meals a day, and they're very timely with those meals because she's a diabetic and she has to eat her meals at certain times of the day. They have nice washers and dryers, they have a nice laundry room, it's clean, and there's no smell. The employees that work there are very friendly. The first day we moved her in the first thing they said to us was, "Make sure you wear your mask." They have a nice walk-in area too. They have a sidewalk that goes all the way around the building, and if you do one complete lap it's one mile. There's a lot of seniors that live there, the apartment she's in is not very big, but it's not very small. I like it.

I chose Washington Commons because the house I lived in was very close, so I was close for moving things and I am familiar with the area. I have a one bedroom and it is pretty spacious. The staff was very helpful. I would certainly recommend.

Washington Commons is a fabulous place with a tremendous activities schedule. My daughter ate there, and she said it's fabulous how they take care of their guests. I would rate the staff a 5. A place is a place, but a home is a home, and the staff is what makes it not just a place but a home. They have all the facilities as well.

We chose Benton House over others we looked into because I was most impressed by the team of management of the facility. I had confidence in the place after getting to know them. The room sizes here are perfectly adequate, they had two room sizes available for the same price. I have eaten here many times, the food is the only thing that they could use improvement on. The quality of the meals and preparation is lacking. The best part about the community so far has been the care she receives from the RA's. I would absolutely recommend the community.

We chose Lighthouse Pointe because of the population of the facility, the management, and it had progressive living situations. She wanted independent living, meals included, and housekeeping included. The manager gave us an immediate call after contacting them and was extremely helpful in us choosing this facility over long distance. My mom has a 1 bedroom unit and also has a balcony so she gets a lot of natural light in the apartment. I eat here twice a week with my mom and the food could use improvement. Due to COVID, food services being brought to each room has made it difficult at some times to provide hot meals, sometimes portion size could be improved, and choices are being limited. A huge plus about the facility is that You are able to purchase small bits of service on site here if needed. My favorite part about the community so far would be the activities and musicians pre-COVID. She loved the people that would come in to play the piano sing to them. The crowd here is upper 80s-90s. The have not had 1 case of COVID so they have been very good about protecting the residents. overall, I would recommend.

We chose Lighthouse Pointe because they kept in touch with me after we first visited here. It was one of the first places we went and my mom instantly fell in love with it. She did not look anyplace else, she loved every minute she was here. The staff members were very personable. All I can say is my mother just loved it here and I am so glad we found this place.They had so many activities going on and she was so busy that I had a hard time getting a hold of her. She felt at home.
