We have lived here for 2 months and already feel at home. It was quite a change moving from a 2000 sq. ft. house to a one bedroom apartment, but the adjustment was easy. The people here are very friendly and helpful to new folk who are asking questions. It is nice to have an outside door and be on the ground floor so we can let our two small dogs out. Staff is friendly and courteous and there are lots of things going on, if you want to join in.

It has been a great place for my mother.

We toured the Elmhaven Manor during their off hours so I don't really have a fair assessment, but one of the residents actually took us around. They were so welcoming and accommodating it was such a positive environment.

Everything there is great except for the food. The dinners are not eatable 50% of the time. My mother has her meals delivered to her apartment. They come anywhere from 5-6:45. The portions are smaller than the ones that they serve in hospitals. The meals are basically the same every month. The food flavor is basically for someone one a bland diet. For almost $9.00 you would think it would be better.

This community may be where mom will be moving when she needs more assistance. The staff were great and helpful. The community was clean and well taken care of.

The care has been going well for me. The staff are nice and helpful and they keep the community very clean. I do not eat here but I have a stove, sink and counter space to make my meals. I also do my own cleaning, it is not included with the rent. I have recommend this place if they have the availability. Susan from A Place For Mom was very helpful, she was a jewel.

We were very impressed with the facility and staff - the activities and other offerings seem to fill every need and concern we had for our mom.

I only can speak to the assistant living division where my loved one is enrolled. beautiful grounds; good location; young conscientious staff; would be stronger program if they had a few more employees per shift on the floor.

So far I have been satisfied since I moved my mom to The Fountains at Franklin. Everybody is extremely patient, and mom feels very safe and secure. I like the peace of mind I have knowing that the staff is there to help out with any of her needs. There have been a couple of work orders that have gotten lost in the fray, but when I bring it to their attention they are quick to jump on it. Other than that, so far I have been very pleasantly pleased with The Fountains at Franklin, and mom has not complained at all.

My mother loves it at this facility. From the very patient staff to all activities they offer seniors... The facility is very clean and well maintained. The repair men are very polite and will work expediently to get the job done. \\Its a wonderful day at the fountains\\ is how the receptionist answers each call, but the seniors feel the same.. .I would highly recommend

The Fountains of Franklin have exceeded my expectations. The residents and the staff are so friendly. If I have a question or concern I can be confident that it will be addressed in a timely manner. My mother was reluctant to move at first, now she constantly tells me how she really likes her new home. I am very happy with the choice we made.

This was the only place I found where my friend qualified for a Rent-Restricted program. His apartment is very nice, freshly painted and carpets cleaned. Any small problems are dealt with promptly and in a friendly manner. Activities, doctors, and personal care services are available at extra cost. Meals are very good. Overall, we are very pleased with Elmhaven Manor.

My 89 Year Old Dad has started to settle into his new residence after leaving his home of 40 years. After searching through many Senior Residences I was pleased by the expression on his face when he toured The Fountains At Franklin. In the 3 months he has been there, he has enjoyed the apartment, services, the wonderful meals, and the excellent staff. He is meeting people, which nice because he became a bit of a recluse after losing his wife (my Mom) of over 52 years. The common areas and classes seem to really have helped him settle in. We are grateful for such a clean and pleasant environment.

Well my Mom is experiencing a form of alzheimer. I think she is not capable of living independently without some assistance. Greatlakes, the firm handling the kitchen and other health care on the premises, is great and helpful.

After looking at several retirement communities for my mom we chose GrandHaven Manor II. This community is located close to shopping and activities. The staff are friendly. There are community activities available to the residents in the building allowing socialization. The on site optional caterers for dinner provide healthy and good tasting food. My mom has made friends and enjoys the activities. Grandhaven Manor II also offers apartments from r seniors who have low income.

I arrived shortly before Thanksgiving and Christmas and every space reflected a holiday . It was obvious that the staff cares about the atmosphere presented and the different emotions it stirs up in the residents. The home is not a dumping ground for old people but a vibrant joyful place that provides a opportunity to live an independent life. Staff is friendly from the management group who instantly recognizes new arrivals and remembering names and apartment numbers. Maintaince, housekeeping and all staff members are helpful without being "syrupy sweet " or condescending. I'm happy here.

Mom likes her apartment. The price is reasonable for what you get. I would recommend it.

What we like the most about this community is the friendliness of the staff as well as the activities. Based on the experience we have had with Westhaven Manor we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

Everyone there has been great. They did recently switch management companies To me, it looks like they have some great choices on the food menu, but my mom complaints. I would recommend The James Ferndale to others looking for independent living.
