Our loved ones eat their own self cooked meals. The mass made meals are high carbohydrates and don't match their eating preferences. They participate in activities here and there, but have found other ways to entertain themselves. Their monthly price was well below competitors and they are very happy there

My mom loves it there! I was a little concerned because she's always lived in the downriver area and moving to Southfield would be a brand new experience...at the age of 84 at that! Park at Franklin has so many options for my mom to stay engaged. I swear she has more activities than I do. From Bible Class to exercise/dancing, Bingo, movie nights and more, she is never bored and has met new friends! She's gone on several outings and she hasn't been there three months yet. Additionally, she lives less than 10 minutes from me and can still be independent. Finally, her apartment is spacious and the building is always so neat and smells good every time I visit. I love that there is a trash valet to make discarding trash a breeze.

I give Elmhaven a five star rating everything there was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment size was ample great view off the balcony truly a great experience. I highly recommend.

They take time with you and try to help. They are happy and informed. The staff are very happy to help with most anything. The building is very clean. I'm very happy living here.

I have just been here 8 months but am so glad to call this home. This is what I find so wonderful about Swanhaven. 1. friendly and helpful staff. 2. cleanliness of building and neat grounds. 3. always informed of activities. 4. Different activities offered. 5. prompt response to service requests.6. taking residents to banks and shopping. 7. The elevators rim so very well and so much more.

I have only lived here for a few months, but I was welcome by everyone. The apartments are huge and clean. You have everything you need. They have bus services to where you need to go. You are on Gratiot where you are close to Meijer, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and so many other conveniences. Moving here was the best choice I have made.

My apartment is very nice. I have lots of closet space and storage areas.

We really like the facility. The management is always very pleasant and will stop and talk to the residents. The chef comes out every dinner and asks the residents if everything is okay with the food. They keep the place very clean. My mom really enjoys living there. They always have a lot of activities going on.

Staff are kind, polite, and helpful. They will help you find items that you need or suggest services that you might be interested in. It has a family atmosphere.

Swanhaven has been my home now for 7 years. I love my apartment! I enjoy activities. I appreciate the effort our activities coordinator puts in to make it fun to live here. The office girls work together keep Swanhaven a comfortable and safe place to live. The custodial and maintenance staff work hard to keep the building clean and well-maintained. I thank them all for treating me like family!

Our staff is beyond excellent. All maintenance is superb and efficient repairs are made in a timely fashion all evolved are courteous. I love it here!

We love the full kitchen and the option of purchasing a meal from the restaurant. Staff is friendly. Grounds and building are beautiful. I like the option to walk the grounds and the various activities and its affordable.

A wonderful place to live. Many nice people to share activities with. just a friendly chat. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate any situation you might have.

Great location next to the St. James Catholic Church, right in the heart of Ferndale! All staff met so far have been great! Hats off to Executive Director, [name removed] is great too!

When a new person arrives the Staff/ Community, activities director is [name removed], she is lovely, creative & smiles beautifully! Check out [name removed] hair Salon, peek in, introduce yourself and [name removed] will do as you ask! know my neighbors and I'm thankful for each one, [name removed] & [name removed] & [name removed] ( is deaf but) he loves hugs, who is a true gentleman! He helps our ladies into their sweaters! Best of Wishes to our new Resident! This is a beautiful residential facility, you walk into the lobby & you'll find it especial, the acoustics are wonderful with the clear glass windows letting in a brightness that is splendid! [name removed] leads a Bingo night! [name removed] is especial & funny! There are Laundry Rooms on every floor. There are elevators to all 3 floors! Residents families are Welcome! Home, Sweet Home! It has been for me! [name removed] is our Janitor, he makes our floors shine! He works hard, we appreciate his work & his integrity!
