Overall experience. Overall a positive experience. My dad has been here 2 years now and is very happy having made good friends with other residents. Cleanliness. Facility is extremely clean and my dad's apartment is regularly tended to. He himself has some issues with refusing showers and care due to his dementia, but the staff work with me to address this when it happens. Friendliness of staff. The staff are all wonderful and have a great relationship with my dad. He loves the staff that work with him directly and they are the main reason we are staying at Sterling Court, even though it would be helpful to move him closer to where I live now. Care staff are very communicative with me and make sure I'm aware of all aspects of my dad's care. Quality of care. Quality of care is excellent, though my dad is at the max level of care that they can provide. With his dementia, being wheelchair bound, catheter dependence, etc, it is a lot to maintain and they do a great job. Meals/Dining. Food is good, my dad is happy with the options. I think there are fewer low-sugar / diabetic options than would be ideal, but my dad's dementia also means he isn't always making the best choices. Activities. My dad doesn't really participate (he's a bit stubborn), but I will say that the front desk ladies really try to get him to join in. I know there is a wide variety. We do enjoy the family/holiday celebrations! Value for Cost. Being at the highest care level it is a pricy monthly fee. I feel that the value is good and am satisfied with the care and attention that my dad receives.

The staff at Sterling Court at Roseville are good. There have been no problems that I know of. The cleanliness is good. My brother does most of the communication, as he lives nearby. The food is good. They just changed ownership and the pricing went up. I would recommend them to others.

I don't require medical care. I'm home-bound in my apt so I don't see the grounds or activities. Everyone I do see are very nice. Still having problems getting 1 meal a day delivered to me. ( after 18 months). Lots of staff turnover. But overall I'm happy here.

My mom was in Grossmont Gardens for a month until the house renovations were completed, and she's been home doing well, since leaving Grossmont Gardens a year ago. Friendly staff; available for questions & comments; clean facilities including spacious room, elevator, dining room.

Lower cost for value. Responsive when called or questioned. Food is unappealing to look at. Very little color in the dishes. One dinner cauliflower, chicken with a sauce (same color as cauliflower), and I think mashed potatoes? I remember thinking this whole dish is off-white. My Father in Law hates the food and asks for a hamburger everyday, which they supply, but probably not so good for him.

Grossmont Gardens is not the ideal place for [name removed] but none of the facilities that I toured are. Memory care facilities appear to be geared for patients with Alzheimers type dementia, not Lewy Body which I believe that [name removed] has. The activities do not challenge him and he is bored and frustrated. He has made numerous attempts to climb the wall surrounding the facility. The best feature of the facility is it's location. Convenient for me and his girls to visit him. I would recommend Grossmont Gardens. The caregivers are good and the activities are good for most of the residents. They bring in entertainment regularly and have events for family to attend

Sterling Court at Roseville is a clean, small and personable community and the med techs that work there are good. However we did have issues with the billing, we would have to watch that very closely.

Our family had an in person tour with Grossmont Gardens and it was nice. Nice area as well. Somewhat expensive for my sisters budget. But I did negotiate a lower price but then [community name removed] called and said they had an opening and my sister opted for that. But it was a nice place, nice rooms and friendly staff.

I think this is a great place for someone who just wants to have their own space, but still not have the burden of having to make meals and clean their own apartment and has opportunity for socializing. When the care is more intense, it's important to make sure that you are in constant communication with the caregivers, because there are a lot of staff coming and going all the time.

We picked this community, because of the location, cost, and services. They have a nice facility, nice staff, good caregivers, a great location, and average meals. They need improvement with communication-avalability to solve issues.

This community has really good activities for the clients, they even take them on some field trips. The staff insisted we provide an electric Hoyer life, which costs more and was harder for us to locate. .

our dad has been a resident at Sterling Court for about four years. He loves the caregivers and front desk staff. As his family we like that we get to enjoy the fun activities too. Recently our Dad's health has declined and is bed-bound now but the caregivers and other staff including med techs, are very patient and attentive to his needs
