My mother moved into Cascade Trails asst. living before the holidays - it was a move that was not an easy decision to make. I’m happy to say that Mom’s experience has been a very positive one. The staff is incredibly warm and loving, I’m always happily surprised that even staff I’ve never met is so genuinely welcoming. I can also report the warmth is also shared with us, which is a lovely experience. Kudo’s to this team, it’s not an easy job and they do it with real grace.

Can’t say enough kind words for the team that takes such great care of our mother. They are always smiling and genuinely care about the well being and happiness of the residents. They know our whole family by name and are a fabulous and talented group of people !

In [date removed] my mother was experiencing a steep decline in her cognitive state after a stable period of home care. We were torn as a family of 6 on whether we should pursue identification of a memory care home. My mother lives in a rural community so the number of options were quite limited. We visited 3 different care facilities & fortunately for us Meadow Lane was one of our options. We knew from the moment of entering the facility that this place was 'different'. The family atmosphere, cleanliness, and quality of staff all met our high expectations. However, the clear differentiator at ML are the outstanding daily activities for the residents, especially since, memory care patients are not 'locked away and forgotten', they participate with the assisted living residents. Laughter and a sense of belonging that extends from residents to staff members make this a truly unique home. THANK YOU to the ML Staff for giving us peace of mind and my mom a true HOME!

My mom loved it there. They made what turned out to be her last year exceptional. The food was good. The services were delivered professionally and with great care. I would recommend Cascade Trails to anyone in this area looking for assistance with their loved one.

My most positive aspect of my move-in has been meeting all of the new people. I just feel so comfortable here. I originally didn’t want to sell my house, but after 2 weeks of being here I said, “Get rid of it!”

I moved to Cascade independent Living a year ago. This is a beautiful, life-enhancing facility. Just as important are the beautiful people who are “neighbors” and those who staff it. We who live here feel both cared or and cared about. Each of us feels the special love of the staff. I definitely made the right choice for my senior years!

My husband and I have been living here for 1 1/2 years, moving here from Columbus, Ohio, where we lived for 50 years. We moved to be closer to our son, since my husband was having health problems. We are so happy that our son found this place for us to reside. The residents here welcomed us, the first time we had dinner in the dining room. We have made so many wonderful friends. The staff working here are always so cheerful, making sure we have a good day, everyday. Since Cascade Trails is smaller than some retirement centers, we know everyone, by their first names. Makes us feel like one big family, living under the same roof.

It has been such a wonderful experience having Mom be a resident at Cascade Trails memory care unit. I love how all aides take such time and care in caring for our loved one. The management is extremely responsive when a question needs to be answered. We never have uneasy thoughts on mom’s day to day existence because we know she is in the best hands!

My mom is at Grace Haven in the memory care unit. We visit almost daily and get to join in all of the activities. Zumba, ice cream socials, arts and crafts, movie nights. Monthly outings to restaurants or Walmart, outdoor dining It’s a hard journey but really feel all of staff is there for the residents and family. Taking my mom for a walk outside in her wheelchair, helping her put on makeup, chatting with her on a lonely evening…these things mean so much!

Dad has been a part time resident and is now a full time resident for the past two years. He truly believes he is the a great place as the staff takes good care of him. One of the things I really like is the range of care options for him. He is currently self sufficient, but will get the care he needs as things slow down.

My mom has lived in Cascade Trails for nearly 18 months. I was a bit apprehensive about the relocation. She moved from Iowa and left her life-long friends and the small community she loves. However, the staff at Cascade Trails helped my mom adjust and grow to love her new life. She enjoys the abundant activities. The care workers love on her well. I know she is in good hands!

Our experience with cascade trails has exceeded our hopes. Our mother feels safe & comfortable. Every care giver is kind & gentle. They always have a warm hello & smile. We feel grateful that this is where mom is .

They helped us so much and were wonderful with my mother in law and with us. They guided us through everything and once we realized taking their advice was beneficial to us, we had zero issues only positive daily contact with them! They seriously were incredible!!! We have recommended them to several people!

Great care, great food, great activities but most of all GREAT staff. My mom had an ER visit and when she was rolled back in to Candlestone, she yelled, I'M HOME!! Candlestone provides our family with peace of mind knowing Mom is very well taken care of.

We were concerned, of course, with bringing my Mom to a new senior care facility but were blown away how nice and engaging the staff was. Also, the facilities are basically brand new and much superior to other places we visited. The overall experience was fantastic!

I think that the staff is awesome here and very sincere. If there is a place for some improvement it would be in the menu, what I've heard from some residents is it could use more variety. Most miss the actual kitchen and going to commercial food. I understand cost and waste etc. but maybe a resident choice paper would help. You have a great facility keep up the good work.

I do not know what my family would without Danbury. I don’t have to worry how my mom is doing because o k ow she is being cared for. The staff are very attentive to my mom’s needs. They routinely assess her and are helpful in determining the level of care she needs. Several room layouts and sizes are available to choose from for assisted living. The facility is beautiful. My mom has been there for almost 2 years. She started in an assisted living apartment but as her dementia increased we recently moved her to Memory Care. Memory care staff are amazing! The planned activities are so helpful and enjoyable to mom plus it helps to keep her active even with her dementia. The staff helped us to obtain therapy when needed and hospice care. They all work together very well. The Mount Vernon executive director, DON, and director of sales truly care about the residents as do their staff. Thank you to everyone.

My 84 year old mother and 97 year old step-father have been living in Independence Village of Zionsville West since [date removed]. They started in Independent Living but then my mother had a medical issue and now they are in assisted living. We have been very happy with both sides of the building (independent living and assisted living). I feel like everyone from the Front Desk staff to the servers in the dining room care about their jobs. The Wellness Director makes a point of knowing a lot about the individuals under her care. The Executive Director is very open to talking to us - both to say Hi and to check to make sure everything is going well. The CNAs do a good job. The food in the dining room is generally very good. No place is perfect 100% of the time but I feel like any concerns we have are addressed in a timely manner.

The staff is wonderful and amazing! I completely trust with my aunt’s care. The food is amazing and it’s always clean. Would highly recommend anyone putting their loved one here!

We looked at a few different facilities. When we visited Independence Village we were comfortable right away. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. All of our questions were answered throughly and we were shown around the whole facility. We were very impressed with their memory care. Make sure you check out this facility.
