Beautiful community - well managed - caring and compassionate staff

The staff at IV of Brighton is an important asset in one's total experience here. From the administrator and up-front personnel, the department heads and their workers- all project an air of friendliness and a willingness to help.

As a 5 year resident, I have watched a caring staff serve our community through the challenges we senior have and also the dangers from Covid. Being a retired teacher, I am pleased to see the employment of students who serve us dinner. Both young and old benefit from the experience.

I like the music in activities. Everyone is really friendly. The food is really good. There hasn't been food I didn't like.

Have lived here since December 2022.

Love this place! Very clean. The employees are friendly, helpful, and super pleasant. My family knows/feels our Mom is well taken care of, and she is happy to live here. Thanks too for all the activities.

The village is a great place to live. The staff is always courteous and helpful. It is safe and secure. Activities are plentiful and fun

2 months into taking my mom here, the transition has gone well considering it was extremely difficult for mom to handle. Storypoint has been great getting her acclimated to new surroundings. All the staff is extremely polite and personable. They have been responsive as well to issues that have arisen.

Even though my mom was only there for 2 weeks before she passed, the staff was very caring during her stay. The kitchen offered is Cousteau beverages and snacks throughout the day. We saw plenty of residents going down to eat in the dining area. Many of the residents did the activities. Just a homey vibe throughout the building. Staff kept up with the cleanliness of the building. I would recommend to anyone looking for an assisted living place.

Danbury North Canton has exceeded our expectations as a place for my elderly father to live. Everyone is like family there and go go above and beyond to accommodate whatever he needs. We are extremely pleased.

StoryPoint Libertyville was also an excellent, ideal fit. At the end of the day, the one bedroom was just a little extra space and just slightly too expensive for my Mother-in-law's budget. The staff were very proactive and helpful, appealing to us to revisit the community, trying to work with management, to accommodate my Mother-in-law's needs. In the course of the sales process, the sales director described features of the community in terms that didnt take ownership, that separated the departments. As an example the description of food service was expressed as, 'THEY fix regular meals with flexible menus...' or referring to maintenance staff, 'THEY come and repair items promptly after a service ticket is created....' Rather our expected descriptions would have been more appealing if the explanations of the community instead expressed, 'WE...' We're sorry our visits and negotiations didn't result in a competitive circumstance that enabled my Mother-in-law's moving in. The community really appeared very well taken care of, with nice activities, pleasant residents and dedicated staff.

We picked this community, because of the location, smaller community, and friendly staff. It's been a positive experience. I would recommend to others. Mom is happy to be able to interact with others her age as well as the staff who truly seem to care.

Our family and loved one have had a great experience with Independence Village of Avon. The staff are very caring and helpful to the residents and families. Everyone is friendly. This is a very welcoming place that cares deeply for those who live here. There are meals and activities provided by the community to the residents to socialize with each other. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

It was a vary clean welcoming friendly community. The food was delicious. The accommodations are excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Over all it was a wonderful experience.

Independence village of Pella is a beautiful, senior living community. The staff is so friendly everyone you meet is smiling and helpful no matter where you go. The decor is from a magazine photo shoot. Outstanding dining with accommodating staff.

My mother is at Riley Grove and we are very happy. Starting with our tour and then the admission process it has been nothing but a great experience. All the staff has been informative, helpful and caring. They love what they do and they do it well. Food is amazing, activities are fun and geared for all. Very clean and well maintained. All safety features are up to date and in place. Greeters at the door which is a nice touch. Family is always welcome and smiles and laughter are common. A beautiful outdoor area is accessible anytime. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The entire staff becomes like family. Everyday, the residents have an option to do group activities or be alone.

Everyone there there is very kind and helpful. The facility and rooms are very nice and clean. My aunt likes most of the meals. The only reason the care service didn't get a 5 is I think they are short staffed.

Variety of activities is great. Staff is wonderful, including life enrichment staff. Dining room is clean and pleasant. Quality of meals is inconsistent. Serving size can be inadequate. Overall, a great place.

Overall, my experience has been good. Help is good and know what they are doing.
