Spring Oak Senior Living

They clean everything at the community very well. There is no dust, no dirt, and no smell. We love all the staff and they are the friendliest, nicest people. You could not beat the care they give here; they give 115%. They have activities planned every day for the residents and they post calendars so the residents know exactly what is happening. We can't say enough good things about the care here. The staff really goes out of their way to show them care and get to know the residents very personally.

The main reason my mom moved is for the socialization and dining with others in the dining room but now with the Covid-19 they are quarantined which makes things a little hard. I can’t wait for things to get back to normal.I think she will really enjoy the community and the socialization. I would definitely recommend Spring Oak to a friend.

Only lived there a month but that was long enough to discover what a poorly run facility it is. The aides are routinely slow to answer page if they respond at all. Many are sloppy with the work, condescending and just unpleasant to deal with. It was very frustrating because supervisors don’t follow up on promises so they never get done. They also do not pay attention to the patient often doing things he expressly asked them not to. I moved there for assisted living component but when I needed it, it was totally undependable.

After my mother passed, my father sat alone in the house for 4 years, sinking into loneliness and depression. English Meadows saved him from that. He has been there for three years already and is healthier & happier than the day he got there! I'm glad we found English Meadows!

I searched several months to find a place for my mother. I toured several communities. We choose this facility because of the atmosphere. It is such a friendly community. My family adores the staff and love how involved the staff are with the residents.

I recently just moved my loved one into this community in October. Within the first month of being there, I saw my loved one participate in activities and social more than he had been. The staff are extremely nice, activities seem to keep the residents active throughout the day. Staff are all so helpful! I love this place for my loved one.

The facility is in a great location, the place is well kept, staff are very friendly! I have had a family member here for 2 years, we love it and so does he! All of his needs are met and we are thankful for the family oriented atmosphere.

Between my mother-in-law and my own mother I have been to 6 assisted living places and I can say this one has been the best! This is the first facility that I have been to, which is actually investing in hiring more staff to take care of the residents. Yes, the place looks dated and needs a brush up. However, I would rather for them to spend money on care, as they are doing now, versus spending it on making the place look pretty. They not only check up on the residents regularly, but make sure that you as a visitor is taken care of as well. They make you feel you are part of a big family. [Removed], the manager is there at all hours and makes sure everything is running smoothly and Alverna the marketing director is just AMAZING!!! She does whatever that needs to be done and then some, and is like the energizer bunny. I don't think I have ever seen her to take a rest.

Heritage Estates is incredibly nice. The manager, [Removed], is very kind and attentive and the maintenance staff is always helpful. The other tenants are also friendly and sociable here, the community and laundry facility are extremely clean, and the 24 hour security at the entrance makes me feel safe. I like that there is a park across the street, a supermarket on the ground floor, and a stop for the NJ bus system. There are stores and a hospital nearby as well. I highly recommend Heritage Estates for safety and convenience.

We had to recently move our father into Carolina Gardens' Memory Care. It was a very difficult decision for us, but we couldn't care for him at home anymore. We searched the entire Myrtle Beach area, but felt the most comfortable with [Removed] at Carolina Gardens. They couldn't have been more caring, kind, and generous in their help through this tough transition. Since he's been at Carolina Gardens, the care has been all that we could ask for. The girls that work with him seem to genuinely care and he is doing much better now than he was since diagnosed. It's much easier to sleep at night knowing that he's cared for.

This community is working out well for my mother since her move here. She is doing a lot better, and I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. She has gained some weight, and her health is improving. She has a doctor there on site at the community. Everything is working out well, and I would recommend this community.

We toured this community for care. We liked the staff that seems to be very helpful. This is a close location for me to visit. We were happy that the community was clean. They do have activities and everyone likes too. They have a nice variety of meals. We would suggest families tour this community for the care of a loved one

I think that the Sping Oaks at Forked River is a great facility. The staff are all very friendly and the place is always nice and clean, there is never an order when I walk in to visit my mother. The meals are good, my mother likes the food and she says they feed her too much which is a good sign. They have a calendar with daily activities, she is involved in all of them.

My father moved into Carolina Gardens At Conway a few months ago. It was a difficult time for our family. My family and I are so appreciative of the staff as a whole. They all work so well together as a team for what is best for my father's needs and they do it with respect. They have helped our family as well by putting our mind at ease. The rooms and the environment are very nice and clean and they provide good meals. I would like to thank all of them for the wonderful job that they do.

I have had several personal friends and family members have placement with Spring Oak and luckily they recently opened Sunbridge where they provide Alzheimer's Care and my Uncle was in need of a secure community but there was nothing local until now. We have been very happy as always with their staff and also the type of social and pleasant neighbors of our loved ones at Spring Oak and now Sunbridge. They are a caring team who go the extra mile every day and I can not thank them enough

My mom is very happy here. The staff is very wonderful to here and she likes the care that she is receiving here. The meals are very good and she does like the variety. They do have activities that are offer, but she is not wanting to join at the time. I would highly recommend this community for other families for good care.

My advise is: take a tour. The facilities are not fancy, new, and shiny, but don't let that deter you. The staff is excellent. The place truly has a family atmosphere. Locally owned. When I visited a band playing (guitar and bass) and the residents singing. The residents seemed happy. From what gathered, they have a low staff turnover, always a good sign.

Sherry [remove] was excellent in her explanations of Spring Oak. It is a very nice facility, clean and residents look satisfied with their surroundings. It is my first tour of a local senior living option.

My grandfather moved in to Carolina Gardens at the beginning of April and we couldn't be more satisfied with the care & attention that he has been given. The Pathways Program and Lifelong Learning Series that are provided are also a great added benefit to their activities program.

This is a very good community we are very pleased. My mother is doing well and they have helped her adjust to the community pretty good. The community is outstanding and very clean and neat. They were very patient and accommodating to us during the whole process. My mom says she is doing all the activities so she is pretty busy most of the time. The food is nice its a well balanced meal. This is a close to perfect community and I would recommend it.
