My Aunt (2nd Mom to me) has been at a Spring Hills At Hunters Creek for several years now. She is 100 years old now. The Director, [name removed] and Staff there have been absolutely wonderful to my Aunt & my whole family. They have treated my Aunt with respect & cared for extremely well. They are now like family to us. They have been so wonderful to work with & have always been there for my Aunt & our entire family. I can not thank them enough for all their fantastic support & wonderful care of my Aunt. We have been truly blessed by [name removed] & all the staff at Spring Hills at Hunters Creek. We could not have picked a more fantastic place for our loved one!

Spring Hills Singing Woods is one of the best facilities in Dayton, OH. Every staff member is kind and patient with our parents and look out for them constantly. Our parents love the food (my step-father is very picky so this speaks volumes). The activities are catered towards the residents interests, including Irish dancers on St. Patrick's day, llama and animal visits, music and vocal concerts and a party for every holiday. There are daily exercise programs, crafts and puzzles, religious services and a strong sense of community among residents and staff. The communication with our parents continued care and changes in their health are communicated well. The administration and liaison between staff and residence/families exceeds our expectations. This community truly puts the residence and their families first. A few members of our extended family reside in differing assisted living communities within Dayton, OH and Spring Hills Singing Woods surpasses them all! I highly recommend this community for any family member!

I walked in the door and immediately felt like I was in a warm, friendly comfortable home. I saw smiling staff interacting with residents, residents laughing and enjoying activities. On tour, I noticed clean, cozy spaces for residents to sit. My mom lives there now and she is happy and more active than she has been in years. She loves the food, the staff the activities, and her room has her personal things making it her home. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

My Mom has been at Spring Hills Middletown a little over 2 years and we definitely made the right choice for her. She is in assisted living since she can still do many things for herself and does not require higher level nursing home care. This is not a "nursing home" which is why it is perfect for Mom. It is clean, they offer a wide variety of meal choices, they do her laundry and cleaning, make sure she takes her meds, and there are several activities every single day which Mom enjoys. The care staff is always visible and truly care for the residents. I highly recommend that if your loved one is a candidate for assisted living, that you check out the friendly staff at Spring Hills.

I moved my 81 year old mother here in mid [date removed] after she broke her back as result of a bad fall. From day one, the entire staff at Spring Hill has been fantastic! Everyone has treated her with respect, patience, kindness and understanding. The loving nature they have shown her truly reflects that they care about the residents there. One of the outstanding young ladies here [Name removed] said it best when she stated that “they do not see at as the residents live where they work but that they work at the residents home”. That not only reflects the great attitude of the employees but it is true! I’ve always been apprehensive about moving Mom to an assisted living facility but have put those feelings at rest after just 3 months. I feel very comfortable now knowing that she is being taken care of very well!! I’d be remiss if I didn’t also mention how good the food is here as well. I’ve joined her for several meals and neither her, nor I, have been disappointed.

Warm and welcoming property. Residents were moving about the rooms, reading in library, playing piano, talking with staff. Residents talked to me about food and activities. Staff was attentive. Studio units were roomy. Enclosed garden and porch which my mom would enjoy. Walking opportunities. Diverse population. Affordable with a wide array of services.

My mother has been a resident at Spring Hills Somerset for over one year. She has a beautiful deluxe studio room. When independent living at home was no longer an option for my mom we had very difficult decisions to make. I was referred to Spring Hills Somerset by a friend. Immediately upon entering the lobby I had a good and welcoming feeling. After taking the tour and speaking with the staff the decision was easy. I knew that my mom would be well cared for and safe. My mom has adjusted very well and has even improved physically since moving to Spring Hills. I cannot say enough about the good nursing care she is receiving. The nurses and the caregivers are awesome and give excellent care. The housekeeping, dining room, maintenance, recreational staff, front desk, Concierge and Director are also excellent. I am very impressed and thankful to all of them. They all provide such a high standard of care to the residents. Not to mention that they are very accessible and helpful to the needs of resident’s families. I highly recommend Spring Hills Somerset.

SpringHills Assisted Living at Hunter’s Creek is the perfect place for my mom. It is a safe clean environment. The dining room, activity room, beauty parlor, library etc are very accessible and comfortable spaces. The staff are friendly and eager to meet and exceed your expectations. Lots of activities to keep people engaged and active like Bingo, Bible study, exercises, crafts, musical programs from community clubs, and so much more. The menu is diverse and changes weekly with special items. The dining room staff are friendly and take the time to encourage people to eat. Really from the front receptionist to all the staff you can feel the care and sense of family. Nurses are on staff 24/7 and residents are checked on during the day and at night. My mom feels very happy to be in this warm and friendly place.

Warm, safe and friendly atmosphere at Spring Hills Assisted Living in Hunter’s Creek, Orlando Florida. Lots of supervised activities and happy residents. Staff are very friendly, dining room and activity areas are clean and well kept up. Staff meet with residents to get their input for meals and activities . I highly reccommend the facility. I am a nurse and I observed quick respones to resident needs.

We looked at about 4 other assisted living places and when we walked in here and walked around ....we just knew right then that this is where our Dad needs to be! My dad has been here for about 3 months and he has adjusted wonderfully! Not to mention the wonderful food they have there. SO many people from Springhill has stepped in to help us all get settled with where Dad is now. He loves it there and I think he realizes This is where he should be now. I have made some friends myself! Absolutely everyone tries to help and are very caring. Also it always smells so good and is so clean. Just SO happy that my Dad is there!!

I don't know which I love best; the residence, the people or the food!! The staff takes care of you the day they meet you. My has care and a community beyond our expectations. We are so grateful!!!

I brought my parents to Spring Hills a little over 3 months ago. They have been so happy living there. The staff is so friendly, it smells so good and the concierge makes sure that all of their needs and wants gets met. I was a bit concerned with the community being a bit older and smaller...but quite honestly I understand now how this makes the residents feel like they're at home.

We really liked this community. The welcome was friendly and warm, the common areas were neat and well decorated. We saw many residents moving around and talking with each other. The folks who showed us around were greeted by residents and in turn called them by name. The layout was simple so Mom would be able to find her way around pretty quickly. The rooms, even the studios, we arranged nicely so that the 'bedroom' is separate from the sitting area. They had a nice kitchenette set up. Personal care costs were reasonable for Mom's. They do have Medicaid waiver spaces so there is a very good chance we'd never have to move Mom if her stability, mobility decline.

We moved our Mother her from another facility and we are so glad we did. The facility is bright and the grounds are lovely. The staff at Spring Hills is a group of very caring individuals. From the front desk receptionist to the dining staff, the nursing staff and the care givers you get an attitude of caring from each person. The facility is clean, the staff keeps everything top notch. Very happy with Spring Hills.

I consider Spring Hills at Somerset as my Mom’s second family. My mother has been a resident of Spring Hills for 10 years. Every staff member takes the time to get to know each resident and treats them as if they were their own family. My mother’s medical care provided by the nursing staff has been excellent. Her daily caregivers are compassionate, energetic, and patient. The housekeeping staff take pride in their work and are friendly and caring to the residents. The dining staff and chef create a restaurant experience and allow the residents to enjoy their meals in a relaxed and social setting. My mother looks forward to socializing with her friends at each meal. My experience with the business office has been nothing but positive. Overall, I would highly recommend Spring Hills at Somerset and are grateful for the care they have given my mother.

From our initial site visit to today, SpringHill staff has been welcoming, friendly, caring and attentive. Consistently! Managers, concierge, receptionist, wait staff, nurses and aides - everyone! They even worked extra hard to get Mom in the room she needed with only 2 days notice! We loved the one month trial period that helped us have time to evaluate the service and get acquainted with the costs of assisted living. Friends who have visited agree with me that there isn't that "unpleasant smell" associated with such facilities! Of course, some of the patients are lonely and not quite fully "present" but that is the nature of assisted living. I've been there every day (except for two days) since [date removed] at all different times of days and the care for Mom and her needs has been top notch. I really appreciate the monthly visit from the dietitian and the willingness of the staff to adjust mom's care based on her changing needs. The nurses on site are always patient and kind when I have questions. Mom loves having meals outside in the courtyard and we do that frequently now that the days are warmer. The wait staff is willing to bring her meals outside so we can do that. It sometimes takes a while to get waited on yet that makes sense, given the attention they give to each patient as a meal is chosen. Both the clients and the staff seem positive and enjoy the experience. There are a good number of clients who are happy and look forward to greeting me everyday I visit Mom. I warmly recommend SpringHills!

My mother has been a resident of Spring Hills Somerset Assisted Living fot 18 months. I am very involved in her care and spent a great deal of time investigating assisted living facilities before deciding upon spring hills. My family and I are extremely happy that we made the decision to move Mom there. The care and services she has been provided while living there have been awesome! The full schedule of activities that are provided each day keeps my mom engaged and busy all day long. The entire staff: the concierge, nursing staff, caregivers, and activity leaders are extremely competent and attentive to the needs of the individual residents. As I frequently visit my mother at Spring Hills, I have witnessed first hand the positive and caring manner in which residents are treated. The compassionate care provided by the staff of this facility, and the respect and dignity with which residents are treated is truly exemplary!
