Spring Hills

My loved one likes the food, and always find something to eat, when she goes to the dining room area. It was one of the best recommendations and decisions, that I made to move my mom there. They have an activities room, in which they have painting, religious services and different themes geared around the holidays. I got a really good feeling, when I went to visit. It has been a very positive experience. They are always very friendly, and they keep me informed with things, that are going on. My loved one is thriving, and doing well.

They are FANTASTIC. WE absolutely love Spring Hills Hunter Creek. Our whole family has been here daily or visited when they are in town and everyone could not be happier. They are taking great care of my grandmother. They take their covid rules very seriously which I really appreciate. They are so welcoming and have been great about communication to the family. The transition into hospice care has been really fantastic, they made it so easy. I would 1000% recommend Spring Hills to others.

I toured this facility and it was our second choice. It was lovely and our tour guide was wonderful! Our decision came down to availability.

They have been great. The food is average. They have done well at taking care of my loved one and communicating with the family. I would prefer better communication with the doctor that visits the community monthly. We picked this community because of the location. I would recommend to other families.

My mother has been at Spring Hills Lake Mary for [time frame removed] now and we could not be happier with her placement there. She loves the activities and most of the care staff. She feels like it is home now.

It was a very good experience. Everyone was very nice. The community looks clean, and very home feel.

We worked with [name removed] for a long time to make this move possible. She helped qualify them for Veteran benefits and walked us thru this whole process. They are so happy here! Grandad loves the food and Grandma is always in activities. After a few months everyone already feels like family.

Mom has been here since [Time frame removed] and initially moved with dad. After he passed everyone took exceptional care and support of mom. The food has been great, the nursing staff is excellent, and having [name removed] back has been a joy!

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a great tour experience, but due to our loved ones level of care this was not going to be the best fit. It is a large community with multiple floors and elevators so it would be a really nice place for someone who is more capable of getting around and not dealing with memory issues.

I looked at 5 others in the area, everything was pretty comparable. But in this case, Spring Hills Somerset was being updated so it was newer, the staff I interacted with were great, and the location is very convenient for me to go visit. The location while it is not in a busy area, it is convenient to all major hubs in the area. The value for what they provide is significantly less expensive than some others that we saw. The staff does not have a lot of turnover, so they are happy to work there which is a big plus. I would recommend Spring Hills.

Communication is key. That was our biggest issue moving our loved one in, but it's getting better. They were going through a management change, and some things fell through the cracks. But they resolved things quickly. I think they do a pretty good job with her care. They're great about having her her ready for me to pick her up for doctor appointments, with her current medication list in hand, etc. The facility is a little dated, but its clean and comfortable.

Spring Hills Somerset has been instrumental in improving my mother's life. We were struggling to care for her at home and needed help. After touring many communities, we knew Spring Hills would be a perfect fit - and we were right! I am incredibly grateful for the wonderful staff that has made my mother feel right at home. It's a great feeling! The food is FANTASTIC, it's super clean, and they always have something fun to do for the residents. I could go on & on - it really is a great place. I highly reccomend Spring Hills Somerset if you're looking for phenonemal services for your loved ones.

The staff was wonderful, and always treated my loved one, like they were apart of the family. They made friends. The staff did an excellent job. My loved one enjoyed the food, and they always did their best to accomodate them. They offered a lot of activities. The value for the money, was good for what we paid, compared to other facilities. In addition, A Place for Mom was phenomenal and made things way easier.

The number of daily menu selections and weekly meal rotations are second to none. We visited several communities in Central Jersey and Florida and none compared to the number of menu selections and high-quality preparation of the food. One of the major reasons why we chose Spring Hills! Not to forget the high-level and quality caregiving by the entire team, front office, nursing staff and aids. I highly recommend Spring Hills!

It was THE hardest decision I ever made to find an AL facility for my husband. Every day it was more evident that we were headed for a life altering catastrophe. He was a runner and on several occasions we had to have police interventions to find him. Once the decision was made, then finding a facility seemed daunting. A Place For Mom was a fabulous resource of information. Not only with facility information but what we should look for, types of questions to ask, and what we should look for to assist our unique needs. The move in went smoothly but the first week was rough for all of us. He was constantly exit seeking because I was advised not to visit the first week. He settled in and has become a member of the Spring Hills community. I too have settled into a pattern once it became obvious that his needs and care are thoroughly met. It has had a positive impact on our relationship. I am no longer playing the role of caregiver. I'm his wife and partner again. I've had some issues with getting him showered often enough. But the staff know him and make sure he's involved and included. There is a large dining room with plenty of food choices at each meal. They offer a full daily calendar of activities with good variety. And they also offer outside trips. Compared to other facilities we looked at, they are family friendly and treat the residents as family.

Spring Hills Hunters Creek is a very nice and clean facility and the lady we worked with was great. Unfortunately it was just too pricey based off of my loved ones income.

Originally when our loved one moved in the meals and dining service was perfect and there were like 14 different menu choices during the week, but just like everybody else they are having some staffing issues so sometimes it takes awhile to be served and the food can be cold. However they do have a ton of daily activities for those who are interested in them. The residents are able to go out shopping and have day trips, there are morning exercises, arts an crafts, live entertainment, and even a garden club. We were able to go there for a Mother's Day tea and it was wonderful. One thing we really like is they have a care giver support group which we think is terrific. We have been very happy with Spring Hills.

I’m very happy we ran across Spring Hills. This is never an easy decision to put a senior loved one in a retirement home. I immediately had a good feeling about Spring Hills. So far it’s been great! I’m very happy overall with the care they provide and communication if I have any questions.

It's a very good experience. From the ownership and management right down to the staff and nurses - everybody has been very kind, friendly, and informative. They connect with a platform called Life Loop, where they take pictures of activities and things and post online for the family to see how our loved one is doing.

A few years back my mom and dad moved to spring hills and it wasn’t their first rodeo with a retirement home. My dad was hard to please and found fault everywhere and my moms memory failing her never helped. They left one facility for another and then rented an apartment, but my wife and sister in law figured it wasn’t safe for them anymore so they reached out to spring hill. To make a long story short [name removed] won her way into dads heart and moms also. There longest stay at a facility was at spring hill with minimal complaints and it was mom and dads home truly. When they passed,[names removed]the housekeepers, activities gals and chef attended their services. To this day, 2 years later I receive a card on the anniversary of their passing with a funny story written in or a joke my dad used to tell. And once in a while we still talk about the Ruben on the menu which was dads favorite.
