Senior Star Management Company

This community is really good. The staff is very friendly, that sticks out to us. My loved one's are settling in well. We had some personal challenges at the beginning and they were great about helping us through those. Housekeeping is weekly and it's average. The overall facility is very clean, but I don't feel like they deep clean the units themselves. I also know they're having staffing issues with housekeeping, so that could be it. The food is good. It always smells good. They offer good quality and a good variety. Communication with the family is good. They distribute a monthly menu, weekly activity schedule, and they also do announcements over the intercom when things are happening or about to start (ie: activities). They do have a good variety of activities. I would recommend them to friends and family.

The staff are exceptionally well trained and friendly. Excellent communication between management and residents. Brunch every Friday, at which time there is a meeting with management, all managers present. The building is well maintained and clean, and the grounds cannot be duplicated. Food is generally good. Like everyone, staffing is a current challenge.

It was nice and clean. Dining room was inviting, staff was nice, and I liked the laundry room on the same floor as room.

We picked this community because, it was closer, cost less for a one bedroom , clean and I liked the two ladies who were running it which has since left.

We chose this facility mainly because of their reputation. They offer activities, facility is very clean. I would recommend them to family and friends with deeper pockets, cost seems pretty high.

Our family had an in person tour and the lady who gave us the tour was phenomenal and fantastic. We liked the community and all the activities they had to offer. However it was just more expensive and even though they had private bedrooms we were not sure about the shared bathrooms. Overall it is was a great tour experience

We've had a very good experience. They keep me informed. They send an email every day stating what activities your parent did and what meals they ate. Any time there has been a problem, they've called me. They definitely try to do their best. The facility itself is very nice. The cost is on the higher side, but they seemed the best out of all the places we toured.

We had a great tour with Senior Star at Wexford Place. It ended up in our top 2 choices - we just found a little better value at another facility. There was nothing negative about this facility, we really loved it.

The staff members at Senior Star are very welcoming and if you have any sort of questions they will help you right away. We really feel that they are there to help your parents or loved ones transition into this new beginning as well as the parents. Based on our experience so far we would absolutely recommend this community others

Everybody seemed extremely happy and friendly here. It was a great experience for my loved one and we would recommend Senior Star Wexford Place.

They offer exceptional care. The facility itself is clean and very home like feel when you walk in the door. It is a welcoming and warm atmosphere that is non-intimidating. My friend told me that if she cannot go home, then this is the place that she wants to stay. They offer many activities for her to participate in and are great about trying to encourage her. I have eaten here a couple of times and the food was great. We have been very pleased with the overall experience and I would recommend Senior Star at Elmore Place to others looking.

The convenience and location for this community was the deciding factor for us and based on our experience so far we would recommend the Senior Star community to other families. We do not have much knowledge about the activities because our loved one does not participate but we do know they have them.

We chose The Kenwood because of all of the reasons above. We thought it was a great value and they provided good services as well. The staff is super nice and friendly, they seem to have really high moral and interact nicely with the residents. We would recommend this facility to other families.

I have been to a number of these types of facilities. This is the nicest and most well run of all of them. It is a place where you can age in place. It is important for a person with Alzheimer's to not be moved around a lot during there aging. You will never find a place that up to you would personally give you loved one at home but this the best option I could find. The memory care staff is consistent. They staff take it upon themselves to interact with the residents and do things like craft projects with them.

this community does a good job in all around. i have no significant complaints as they provide high quality care!

This community was just not a good fit for my loved one and what we were looking for. It was a nice and great tour it just was not the right place.

I chose Senior Star because they are pet friendly and would let me have a kitten. I had a 1 bedroom apartment it was pretty nice size. Sometimes the things on the menu are things I am unable to eat which is why I gave the food a lower score. The staff is extremely friendly and I would recommend to others.

Very nice, very friendly, good staff and just a good overall experience. the food is pretty good, but not great.

They have done everything we have asked at this community. They have done better and everything here has been a lot better. They transported my wife back and forth from the community when I was in the hospital. When I was released the director was waiting for me with a wheelchair to take me back to my room.
