My mom has been there it will be a year in March she is on hospice and on her death bed and they want to raise the room rent on her. Are you kidding me? Suck all the money out before a person passes away. This is just wrong in so many ways.

Poor management which is reflected in the turnover of staff. The rooms are very empty right now. Also, a representation of poor management. Most of the staff are very kind and considerate and stay because of the residents. There is a reason Avamere at Berry Park is the cheapest independent living center in Oregon City.

this is too much care i think. 3 meals a day and 2 bedroom 750sq ft is tiny. i think i need more of a retirement community than this much structure.

The regular staff really does seem to care for their patients. The upper management in charge of admissions seem to care more about placing someone in a bed versus actually being able to provide what they promise. Food taste as if it's premade in a microwave or frozen box, the administrator is very pushy for what feels to bed a "sale", and the rest of the management staff leaves me to wonder if this is a good place for my mother. Yes the building is beautiful but it appears to be hiding a major staffing problem.

When my father was in the assisted living, it was good but once he was moved into the memory care that's when things went down hill. There was no personal attention and they would not take him to any activities. They were available but they never went and got him. The food was not good and I feel like all they did was house him while he was there.

This place has residents sharing a bathroom between 2 rooms

They aren't very good with follow through and communication. It took them a long time to clean up after an incident. They weren't monitoring my loved one close enough. I think they have a nurse that has to take care of the entire place, both memory care, and assisted. I don't know if they are short staffed, or what. We are not too happy at this point. They told me that they provide the furniture, but when we got there, they wanted five hundred dollars for furniture. They do not have a nurse on call over the weekend. We chose them because of their location, and proximity to family.

The meals & activities were very good. They don't have enough staff tending to the needs of the residents. The staff they do have is over worked and at times get short tempered. (Don't blame them.) Residents are "NOT" provided the one on one services as promised without begging and complaining. The place needs a complete renovation.

Poor communication and when you ask questions the staff isn't always truthful. In the one year my mom has been there the administrative staff has completely turned over and the nursing staff has had turnover. I have also witnessed patients not having needs addressed promptly. The only nice thing I can say is the food is good and the rooms are nice.

This facility was very nice when it opened. However, in the last year or so, after a management shake-up, it has devolved into little more than an old folks warehouse. Dirty dishes/glasses not removed from residents' rooms, dust accumulating on, and for a bonus a nice round of norovirus last winter. Prescribed nutritional supplements were sometimes given, sometimes forgotten. Once plentiful and diverse activities devolved into the occasional bingo game or just putting everyone in front of the TV at night. Monthly cost here is pretty good. But if you can afford another 10%, there are much better options in the area.

It was not too bad from what I noticed on my tour. It is brand new and they were half full of residents. We did not want my loved one to go through the growing pains with the company, The residents were more active than my loved one. It is a nice facility and I liked the way it was set up.

This place is a mess. They have new administrators every few months & new caregivers that never last. Not to mention cares are not being done correctly and you can tell the staff there are not passionate about what they do. The place is run down and smells as soon as you walk through the doors. My mother was never given the care she was supposed to there. 0/10 would never recommend anybody to take their loved ones there. Im glad I took my mom out of that place as soon as I could.

Overall ZERO!!Just stay away.

I do not recommend this facility. Do not believe the website...all the pictures are staged. The memory care unit is dirty and the residents are ignored. I know this from personal experience. My mom died from things that happened in this facility. Don't trust these people, do not recommend.

We had a bad bad experience my hubby passed away in a week they said he was asleep instead of passing.. I followed there rules to stay away for a week and came back to my hubby passing away... no one let me know... took me 2 months to get my money back.. they shaved his beard even though I had given them specific instructions not to do that.. CNA do not speak English. I would not recommend this facility to anyone... looks good on tour but reality set in

I do not recommend this facility to anyone EVER! I just removed my husband from Greenfield because the care and conditions were so poor. We were there from [date removed] and it was truly one of the worst experiences of my life. First of all for months the phones haven’t work so you can’t call to check on your loved one. The facility is run by undisciplined aides that do whatever they want when they want to. They bring their children to work and hang out on their cell phones etc. so of course, care is very poor. My husband was dirty sleeping in the same clothes he wore day after day. The facility is very dark and drab with no natural light coming in. The courtyard is not kept up in appearances with a fountain in the middle that does not work. The activities directors have been fired 3 times since January so there are basically no activities to encourage daily living. Residents just sit all day without any mental stimulation at all. This facility is poorly staff, unsafe and the director doesn't treat the residents with dignity and respect . My uncle was left on the bathroom floor for several hours after he slipped and fell . Sad

This is not the place for your family. I had a family member living here and we finally helped move them out. The ED only cares about money!! We had so many complaints giving to her and she never fixed anything. Just went up on the rent! The place smells like urine and the aides don’t care. It looks like death in there. Don’t do it to yourself people. Trust me! The people writing these reviews are family. The staff members don’t even want to be there.

This used to be a wonderful place when it was Chateau Brickyard. Since the new company took over, all I hear from my friends there is how awful they are and how they are chasing away good employees. They continue to cut budgets and take things away from residents. I was there having lunch and my friends could not even have a refill on her drink at lunch because they only allow so one per meal. The new General Manger won't even talk with residents unless they make an appointment and even then, she missed the appointment with my friend and told her to get over it. Horrible company that is taking advantage of seniors that cannot afford to go anywhere else or don't have family to support them.

After Anthem Memory Care purchased them in February 2022, care and quality went down hill. Staff was turned over, with new staff with little experience. Under their ownership we experienced 3 major unexplained injuries within 6 months, 2 resulting in broken bones and hospitalization. They have refused to give investigation reports blaming their legal department. Staff avoided contact with us after the last incident. We have moved our mom out of this facility.
