Mom really likes it here which of course mean I like it too. She loves all the activities they do daily, each of them are different and cater to a lot of different likes so everyone is entertained. At first she was kind of hesitant in coming to a retirement community but now she is so happy that she moved . They have a beauty salon where you can also get your nails done, they are also adding a massage room to the salon! (I’m jealous) They just put in new dining room furniture that really makes the room so much more classy, the chairs are comfortable and I love the booth they have against one of the walls, really feels like you’re eating in a restaurant!

We chose The Barrington at Hioaks because the community director was awesome and answered all of my questions. The staff members here were all very pleasant and happy. and the cleanliness of the facility. They were not super pushy and they gave me time to think and I really liked that about them. They have checked off all of the boxes and I would recommend them to other families.

If you're looking for a place that is small and family-like, this is a good choice. There are very few residents, and everybody on staff seems to know my mom and her needs. Mom's apartment is pretty basic and small, although they offer different sizes. It's very clean, but just kind of stark. They always have lots of activities and things going on. Recently I attended an event where a man came in and played songs on the keyboard and got the audience very involved. They have outside entertainment like that come in often. My only criticism of activities is they don't have any Protestant church services at this time, and she misses that. But in this big metro area of DC, we toured quite a few facilities, most of which were very large. I felt like my mom would get lost in a facility with hundreds of people. Aarondale is small and has been wonderful for her.

I recently toured this building and I think they do a great job of keeping the building nice. Very well maintained with very friendly staff, on the tour everyone would say hello when we passed them in the hall. Some of there staff has been there for about 20 years which really makes me feel good that my dad will have familiar faces taking care of him everyday.

I just recently toured this community and it was a very nice experience. My wife and I are looking for independent living for my mother-in-law, we wanted a building that also had assisted living for the future if necessary and this place does. If she ends up needing more care, she gets to stay in that same apartment too! They have nursing staff on site 24/7 which helped put my wife at ease that someone will always be there to check on her. They offer a lot amenities at no additional charge for assisted living like weekly housekeeping and laundry which also means less work for my mother in law. The have a really nice outdoor gazebo which is perfect for the weather we have been having. It's a very nice place that is well maintained.

Our interview went great. She was a good communicator & knowledgeable about the facility. She took a lot of time to answer all of our questions.

The Wellington at Lake Manassas is a beautiful community. It changed my perception- for the BETTER of senior living. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the residents all were having fun and enjoying themselves. Wellington is definitely my top choice!

Paul Spring truly makes you feel like family. From the minute you walk in you feel welcomed. Friendly staff, clean and lots of wonderful amenities. I would definitely reccommend to anyone looking for senior living for a loved one.

I have been at The Westmont for over three months now, and I have to admit to being impressed and amazed everyday by the commitment of the staff from the top down to the care of the residents here. I felt strongly enough to refer a friend to live here as well several coworkers!

Before the community was also very pretty and well taken care of. I have seen if before the new management now not only is it aesthetically pleasing but the new programs and activities brought in are even better! They have outpatient therapy, on-site nursing 24/7 for residents as well! Everything you would need in one place
