I have worked with The Wellington at Lake Manassas team and they are amazing. They listen and are very responsive to any concerns that are brought there way.

The staff here are very friendly. I know that when someone needs assisted living I will most definitely reccommend Heatherwood to them. Great care, food and activities. Love that they have a spa and salon.

I was very impressed with my visit to The Wellington to see my uncle. I did not feel as though I was in a senior living community rather a 5 star resort. The facility was clean, the staff were friendly, and I witnessed several activities with residents in attendance. The dining room will blow you away - just gorgeous! Best of all, my uncle is happy, safe, and enjoying life. Seriously, a must see!

Walking pinto Aarondale you can tell there is a family feel

I love Aarondale!! The staff and resident are amazing ??

I recently just came to visit my father in law here and was very impressed with how they were protecting everyone from COVID. While I know that the threat is "over" to some people there is a new strain going around and it is just as deadly. I thin the masks are annoying but I appreciate the staff there doing everything they can to make sure my loved one stays safe and healthy.

Mom really likes it here which of course mean I like it too. She loves all the activities they do daily, each of them are different and cater to a lot of different likes so everyone is entertained. At first she was kind of hesitant in coming to a retirement community but now she is so happy that she moved . They have a beauty salon where you can also get your nails done, they are also adding a massage room to the salon! (I’m jealous) They just put in new dining room furniture that really makes the room so much more classy, the chairs are comfortable and I love the booth they have against one of the walls, really feels like you’re eating in a restaurant!

We chose The Barrington at Hioaks because the community director was awesome and answered all of my questions. The staff members here were all very pleasant and happy. and the cleanliness of the facility. They were not super pushy and they gave me time to think and I really liked that about them. They have checked off all of the boxes and I would recommend them to other families.

If you're looking for a place that is small and family-like, this is a good choice. There are very few residents, and everybody on staff seems to know my mom and her needs. Mom's apartment is pretty basic and small, although they offer different sizes. It's very clean, but just kind of stark. They always have lots of activities and things going on. Recently I attended an event where a man came in and played songs on the keyboard and got the audience very involved. They have outside entertainment like that come in often. My only criticism of activities is they don't have any Protestant church services at this time, and she misses that. But in this big metro area of DC, we toured quite a few facilities, most of which were very large. I felt like my mom would get lost in a facility with hundreds of people. Aarondale is small and has been wonderful for her.
