Preston Pointe is a wonderful community. It is obvious from the first moment you walk in that the the place feels like home. I love bringing new families to the community because they are always met and welcomed by the residents and it is obvious friendships are made quickly at Preston Pointe. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. It is so nice to see all the smiling faces everyday. The food is off the charts. The chef is so particular about each meal served, you can tell how much her cares about his craft and the residents he serves. I would highly recommend Preston Pointe! Can't say enough good things about it!

I chose this community because this has everything that I needed. The food is great, they have variety and it is all fresh. They give you a weekly menu and you fill it out, you get two options for each day to choose from. It is a dining style set up. Since COVID, they have been bringing food to my apartment, but they are opening the dining room back up soon. I have seen the room sizes for assisted living and they are adequate. I live in an apartment and it is very spacious. I would absolutely recommend this community.

I moved here from another community and I like it a lot more here. It is also considerably less expensive. The food is terrific and they are bringing us food to each resident's apartment. They check on us every day. The community itself looks brand new. I can't think of anything negative to say. The price is extremely reasonable for an apartment that is considerable in size. A fantastic place. Some of the staff have been with the community as much as 15 years.

They have changed ownership recently, but we are really happy with about 90% of it. She complains about the food, but she is really particular about her food. The staff is great and very responsive. Any problems they have addressed right away. It's always clean, and well cared for. It's really nice.

A new resident who has recently moved in here said they wished that there had been a welcoming committee that would help people within their first week find their way around and make some new friends and a place to sit at lunch. I thought that was a good idea. It has been a great experience for me and I would recommend them to others who are looking.

This is a Great place for Seniors to interact. Bingo and other activities are always happening. The Resident Associates Have a fun time with the residents. Honoring them is also rewarding too. Precious lives are at these facilities.

It's a friendly, nice place. As with any place, there are areas that could be improved, but overall it's good.

The staff is always there to help. They are very welcoming. The facility renovations are beautiful. They are still working on the game room and cafe.

The Manor Village is now called Preston Pointe and under new management. My sister is in the process of moving in and everyone has been very helpful and friendly. The first day of moving in, the staff came by to say hello and my sister received a beautiful gift basket of welcome. She was even invited to a "Tea Party." That is as far as things have gone because my sister went back to her summer home at the beach and will return in about two weeks.

Nothing is perfect but it's very clean, they're very friendly and very helpful. She's in independent living, but when she's needed stuff they've been there pretty quick, no real issues there. It's in a good location, there's lots of things around there, they go shopping and go to different places. She likes it a lot but it was hard for her emotionally, leaving her friends, but as far as what they did to help her, everything was fine. Her apartment was ready and it's only about 3 or 4 years old and nicer overall.

The staff is really friendly and seems to genuinely care about the residents. They seem to have a passion for their job and what they do. They have a really good value for everything they offer, lots of amenities and plenty of activities. It is located in the city so it is not really secluded. The good part about being located in the city is that it is close to just about anything we need and really close from where I live, so it makes it very convenient. The landscaping is really nice and really gives it appeal.

The people we met at this community were nice. This community did not seem as active as the community we chose. It looked like a clean community. This community does offer respite care and they have pet friendly apartments.

preston pointe is currently under new management. this used to be a family owned community (which we really liked), but it has now turned into a corporation. a lot of their previous staff have left and we dislike that because there was one nurse in particular that we looked forward to working with. during our tour we noticed that the guide tried pressuring us into renting a certain apartment under the guise that it was the last one available and would be rented out soon if we did not take the opportunity. it wasn't until after we moved in that we learned the truth - they had a lot of availability and very similar units that were vacant. i've also learned of their many maintenance issues and it is concerning that there is no backup generator. i do feel that they sold us on a lot of things that turned out to not be the case. there has not been a lot of effort or care after we moved our loved one in. there was no help during the move in process, they triple booked that time slot so our movers had to use the staircase going up and down several flights because the only two elevators were unavailable. thankfully we had great movers who were understanding and still agreed to help us - otherwise, it could have taken us all day. i understand that they are going through a lot of struggles with the recent staffing changes, so i am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. they do need to improve on their communication skills, and hopefully things will get better once those changes are settled.

It's pretty, and they spend a lot of money on the grounds. It was great for the first six months, until we started to need a little assistance. The bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible, you can't fit a walker or a wheelchair in their bathrooms. Anything extra is an extra charge. The food here wasn't so good, it was good at first, but it started going downhill. They were more expensive for less service. The staff here were run ragged. They don't have enough staff, and they have a lot of turnover. They go through directors quite a bit.

My dad lived in Independent Living. He hated it. Everything was very outdated. He wasn’t impressed with the maintenance staff and their ability to fix something. The worst part for him was the food. It never looked as if a housekeeper had cleaned. Just not a good experience all around for him.

My mother has been very unhappy since moving in here. She said every week practically there’s new faces- new care staff, new managers. It’s very hard to get to know the people who are supposed to care for her when they are always being replaced. The one thing my mother loves is the morning devotions but she was told by a staff member that the activity manager that did this activity has been replaced as well. I’m fine with changes if it’s for the positive of the residents but I don’t feel that’s why these changes are being made. Her care needs are slipping through the cracks because the staff is constantly changing and they don’t know her needs.

Some of the care staff are good but if you have any issues arise good luck getting them addressed. The director is never there. The nurse never answers. I call or stop by and she’s not there or already left. And she never cares to return my calls either. Most of the managers don’t care enough to try to help or don’t have the authority.
