Staff was pleasant and helpful. Facility was clean and nicely decorated inside and out. Rooms were spacious bathroom had adequate safety features. Option of two-week temporary stay quite appealing and worth definite consideration.

We chose Atria Newburgh because they were prompt in calling us back when we were looking at different places. The room sizes here were adequate. We did not have a whole lot experience with them, but I would call every week to check on him and when we would take stuff out there they would make sure that he got it. Based off our experience I would recommend

I think it's a very nice facility. Its clean. My family member seems to be happy here. I like the rooms on the assisted living side. The apartment is very nice. The bathroom is nice and big for her in case she needs a wheelchair or a walker. The living room and little kitchenette they have are nice. It's a great little apartment. And I think she's pretty happy there. The staff have been basically pretty nice. I haven't come across anyone who's been negative. They're very helpful.

My experience has been good so far, the community is very clean and the staff members are fantastic. The food is very good and if there is something I do not like they give plenty of alternative. They do the best they can with the activities and I do think the value is pretty good.

We toured Brookdale Richmond and it was a really nice facility. We just did not think that my brother would fit in with the population that was here.

We were able to do an in person tour with Atria. I think it is a really great place for people who need independent living or assisted living, but we did not feel it had the right services needed for memory care.

I would recommend it here. I think the staff is very friendly, and the facility is very presentable. My friend tells me he likes the food overall.

We chose Desoto Beach Club because the facility itself was clean, the staff members were friendly and I felt like they were confident and attentive. The apartment sizes here are good. I think they have done a good job during the whole covid experience with monitoring visitors and adjusting the food/activities and adapting to the whole situation. I would recommend to others looking.

The community is doing more and more activities. The community lets people know when there is an activity they think they would like. I felt like this was the place the 1st time I walked in. They get to know every and I saw them interact with so many families they know who there coming to visit. I would recommend this community to others.

The Crossings is definitely on the shortlist. They checked every box. Neat, clean, well maintained, well-staffed, an extensive activities plan, etc...the only complication is, their doctor does not accept Humana which is her healthcare plan. We'll deal with this issue if they make the final cut.

My experience has been very good. To me, it's been better than the other two places I lived in. They make you feel welcome. They try to help you in any way you can. It's not assisted living, but they try to make sure you're aware of activities and things that are going on, so you can make your mind up what you'd like to do. They put up an activities sheet weekly. I enjoy bingo, which they offer about 6 days a week. I like to craft, and they have a movie every night. I like my apartment very much, it was just what I needed. It's the least expensive of any retirement communities I've lived in. They're part of Holliday corporation, so they have a lot to offer. They own about 300 other retirement communities, including Hawaii. And if I'm travelling, I can check to see if they have a room available and I can stay there for nothing. They will also let me take my pet. A lot of people aren't aware of that travel policy.

We chose Brookdale Winter Haven due to the compassion that the staff showed us. After speaking with the nurses and administrator, I felt like it was going to be a great place for my grandmother. They go above and beyond for their residents here and treat them like family. They are willing to work with each individuals needs since every dementia patient is not the same. I would recommend to others looking.

I have lived here several years and I am contented. Wouldn't be anywhere else. They keep us busy here with interesting activities. Our REC is the best and so helpful. Like the food most every day. Staff wonderful!!!

Brookdale Winter Haven was wonderful for our situation. She came in here under hospice and the staff members were always very helpful. They took great care of my wife in the memory care unit and I would recommend them to others who are looking.

Everyone has been very nice. [name removed] who is the activities director is very good and keeps the residents active. They keep the residents in mind with their individual needs. It's very close to home for my mom. This has been perfect for her. I would like for them to have pets or a therapy animal for the residents.

I could not rate Atria Highland Crossing high enough. It was a great fit for my dad when he was more independent. They did everything for him, they took him to dialysis, if he was weak they went ahead and brought meals to his room, or they would take him down if he wanted to go. They could not have been nicer, we were thrilled with it. During the pandemic they tried their hardest to keep residents busy with activities while they were on lock down. I would recommend for independent living.

The staff and management are very congenial and willing to work to do whatever they have to do for the comfort of the resident and the family. The building, the layout, the apartments - it's all very up to snuff. Everyone has the freedom to come and go. There's independent cottages outside the main building with garages. It's a really nice community. They're still having some activities, but it's pretty subdued due to Covid. On site, there's a rehabilitation and exercise center, a hairdresser and barber, and a heated pool. There's a bus that operates 4 days a week. 2 days a week they take residents to doctor appointments, and 2 days a week they take them shopping, sometimes out to eat. And if something special comes up where you need transportation, they're flexible to provide it.

We chose Poet's Walk because they were extremely accommodating, they were more than willing to work with us, and very welcoming to my mom. They have been excellent with communication with everything that has been going on. I think they are so easy to work with and make everything easier on us, I would definitely recommend them.

Due to covid restrictions there are no activities going on, but the staff really does seem to take really good care of our loved ones and we would recommend the Atria Highland Crossing to others.

The meals and dining service is amazing, it is like being on a cruise ship.
