Hello, I was referred by close family friend. It has been my absolute pleasure to have assistance from Senior America - Lake County. I am a 62-year-old woman with upper and lower back problems also sciatica. There are times when I can barely move because of the pain, and many things that I would like to take care of that I cannot. I feel that my caregiver is an answer to prayers. She’s amazing. I have two cats that I cannot change their litter. She feeds them takes care of them. She cooks, shops, cleans and does laundry for me. I know there are many people that can do these things, but she goes above and beyond what she can do. She’s like a daughter to me. She keeps me company and she enjoys listening to me. She makes me laugh and heal emotionally. I love our encouraging talks and I look forward to seeing her daily. It’s a pleasure to have someone who truly cares about you and it’s not just a job.

Our Experience with this company who sent us our assistant has been outstanding. The company’s response to any request has been excellent. We Have Nothing but gratefulness for the help. This company has been a wonderful find, and a fantastic help. Our helper has represented the company fantastically. We are most grateful for this assistance.

She helps me get dressed and takes me where I needs to go. She helps me understand the doctor when I can’t and goes to the pharmacy for me when I need my medications. She cooks and cleans the whole house for me

My father had Options for several years and they did an amazing job caring for my father five days a week. The caregivers were awesome. The most recent caregiver named [name removed] was very good with my father and his final days of his life. [name removed] was like Family. Option staff were great with me specially, when my father passed they even came to his celebration of life and was very supportive with me.

My mother last years of life were better than I could image due to my Mother’s excellent caregiver, [name removed]. [name removed] made my mother feel safe and loved. My sisters and I were able to relax knowing our mother was in good care.

[name removed] takes care of my dad everyday. She takes care of my dad as if it were her own dad. When I am at work I know my dad is safe. I have zero worry when I am at work. We love [name removed]. [name removed] goes above and beyond to make sure her clients have the best care.

I was a full time caregiver for my 93 year old dad. Other than 2 hours per week for bathing assistance, I had no help. I was completely burned out and exhausted. This agency was referred to me by a cousin who had used the services. I was hesitant, because dad could be difficult to work with. Our aide put me completely at ease, even taking time to sit with us, so that dad would be comfortable with her when left alone. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone with such a pure and caring heart. She is forever a part of our family.

From the day our mother was matched with her caregiver, we received great service. We never could have imagined how helpful this service would be for our family, providing us with the peace of mind that our mother was in such good hands. We felt so fortunate to find this excellent organization and staff and to be provided with such a conscientious and caring person . She truly went above and beyond what we could have expected and made it possible for our mother to stay in her home.

Health care worker Shamona was AMAZING with my Uncle. She's patient and very friendly. My Uncle absolutely loves her and so does our family. We appreciate her and feel like she is part of our family.

Nice place for your love ones very friendly and welcoming environment e the staff was nice they sit down with you and give you a tour of the facility they're plenty of games and all sorts of activities to keep them busy everything was nice neat and clean no bad smell at all.

[name removed] has cared for my grandfather for 3+ years and she is very much like family at this point. The way she cares for him is so genuine and she makes him feel great about the care she provides. Often times, elders are angry at what they may not be able to do for themselves anymore but Mona has been instrumental in building my grandfather’s confidence back. The service from Options has been invaluable and Mona is an amazing asset to this company. We greatly appreciate the support we received and I highly recommend.

We worked with options out of Harrisburg. I can't say enough wonderful things about them. They were very proactive. Our caregiver was wonderful. My mom was in a hospice situation and the caregiver that came specialized in that and we had a wonderful experience.

Options for Seniors was so quick and easy to work with! I requested service for my father while he was still in the hospital, and was set to be released with no plan in place for him at home, but they were fortunately able to pull together a care plan and find a nurse who moved in with my parents that very next week! His nurse has been a godsend to both of my parents, but especially my father. He's very limited in functioning, and she helps him all day, every day! She also cleans up after him and cooks for both of my parents, since my mother isn't really up to that challenge anymore. I would recommend Options for Seniors to anyone looking for in-home permanent (or temporary) care!
