A wonderful place with a caring atmosphere. Aldersly Retirement Community is even better than I ever dreamed of. The location is great, and one doesn't feel cut off from the world; you can still live a normal life without the need for a car. What stands out most to me is the kindness of everyone here, from top to bottom. They truly aim to please and resolve whatever problems may arise. Our dinners are wonderful, and we have a great chef! After living here for nine months we feel very fortunate to have Aldersly. It truly is a wonderful place to grow older. What stands out most is the people, the staff are consistently warm, caring, and dedicated. They genuinely go out of their way to help. The food is excellent, with plenty of variety and flexibility, and meals or something we look forward to every day. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful with gardens and walking paths that make it a pleasure to just be outside. There’s always something going on too, exercise classes, music, lectures. Engaged. We also appreciate the practical: Well maintained departments, helpful services like transportation and IT support and the reassurance of a full continuum of care as needs All in all, to us Aldersly Offers a rare combination of warmth, quality, and peace of mind. It feels like home.

Our family recently toured Aldersly's Memory Care community while looking for the right fit for my mom, and we came away very impressed. [Name Removed] the Sales Director, was welcoming and took time to genuinely answer our questions. The community feels warm and well cared for, and the garden grounds are absolutely beautiful. The food was a highlight and the menu is thoughtful and clearly an important part of daily life for residents. What really caught our attention was the Happiness Program, a light-based holographic game system designed specifically for people living with dementia. Watching the demonstration was fascinating. It's engaging and joyful, and you can see how it brings real moments of happiness to the residents. Aldersly gives our family a lot of confidence as we work through this decision. We still aren't sure about the whole thing, but we are seriously considering this community.

A very nice and well managed facility.. I was especially impressed with the grounds. It is almost like a park. The attendees, though I have not met many are so far,very nice. I think I will enjoy living there. .I especially like how quiet it is. Thanks for the chance to evuate the facility.

Over 7 years ago I moved into my new home at Sedgebrook. I was living by myself for over 20 years prior, perfectly content, but I realized that stairs would cause me problems. My only regret is that I didn’t move here sooner! What I like best about Sedgebrook is the amount of close friends I’ve developed over the years. They’ve become like extended family, always there for me when I need, volunteering with me, and hanging out in our apartments. The dining experience is amazing, from employees who cook and serve our food to my friends who I dine with daily. I am very fortunate that Sedgebrook is my home.

I recently visited Clarendale West End and was truly impressed. We chose it! The community is absolutely beautiful. Filled with vibrant design, gorgeous colors, and a layout that feels easily manageable for my parents and elevated. The rolling hill views are just stunning. Can’t wait to have my parents back home in Tennessee. The courtyard will definitely be my mom’s favorite spot. It is classy but not stuffy—exactly what my parents were looking for. I truly can’t wait for them to move in next month!

As a resident of one year I have been delighted with living at Sedgebrook. My apartment is beautiful, the grounds are fabulous, enrichment and exercise opportunities manifold and the staff kind and helpful. The food is good, as well! The community is friendly, educated and easy to get to know. I highly recommend Sedgebrook to anyone interested in a full, rewarding and excellent place to call home.

Sandhill Cove is as good as it gets and I’m so happy that I’ll be moving in soon! Its reputation for the finest quality is so well deserved. Food is delicious, grounds are meticulously maintained, staff is the best you’ll find anywhere. There’s something for everyone at Sandhill Cove: there’s a long list of activities and socializing opportunities, but you can feel comfortable operating at your own comfort level. It’s a very special place!

Sand Hill Cove is a lovely retirement community. Upon arrival at the facility, we were met by staff and were taken on an escorted tour. Everything was clean, neat and tidy. There were no offensive odors. Staff members we met with were quite friendly and able to answer all of our questions and provide us with a financial overview. Our lunch meal was delicious. Nice fresh vegetables and nicely cooked protein Altogether, Sand Hill appears to be a safe and beautiful option for retirement living.

[Name Removed] and I have lived at The Clare for three years, and it has been a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable; we love being able to walk to world-class cultural events, the hospital, and a diverse array of restaurants and shops. The fitness program is truly outstanding, offering everything from balance classes and cardio to personal training and aqua volleyball. Similarly, the dining experience is consistently excellent—varied and on par with a high-quality restaurant. We also take full advantage of the curated group trips to theaters, concerts, and museums. What truly sets The Clare apart, however, is the community. The staff is exceptionally supportive, and the residents are well-educated, welcoming individuals with fascinating life stories. While this isn’t a "golf course" community, it is the perfect home for anyone who thrives on city life and culture.

Everything at Windemere is geared to make your life pleasurable. Everyone who works there and lives there are your friends. The food, entertainment, and environment are five star. They are always looking for ways to improve your life.

Over 13 years ago, one of my friends wanted to show us an apartment here at Sedgebrook. It was the perfect place for us. Moving from a large house, we accumulated a lot of stuff. Here, we were able to keep the majority of it! Our place is massive, with a huge laundry room, storage and kitchen! The bedrooms and bathrooms are also very good size. Most importantly, it give me the feeling of an actual house! It does not feel like an apartment. And it even has a patio with two entrances and a little garden. This particular apartment floor plan was a deciding factor to move here. The grounds are beautiful to walk around and enjoy nature. From my patio I can see plenty of wildlife. Also, having the parking garage close to my apartment is very convenient.

I've been here now 3 years and I have really enjoyed living here. The staff is fun and I really enjoy all the things that we can do, because it's set up for aging adults. They are very dog friendly. I visit 2 dogs that I love as if they are mine, and the staff doesn't mind sharing them with me, while it's too hard at my age to have a dog depend on me. The bus driver takes us to all kinds of different things; having so many things to do like bingo makes my world happier.

Everyone is so nice and pleasant to us and my Mom. Excellent customer service. My mom loves the food and she is eating better than ever. They also have activities you can participate or not.

This was a wonderful visit concluding with a wonderful meal. The staff was warm and welcoming. The facility was clean and bright.

My mother has been at Clarendale for over 5 years and really enjoys the activities and care of the staff. They always go out of their way to help. I would recommend Clarendale to anyone. The front desk staff is always welcoming every time I come to visit

You can always find someone to interact with. Made to order breakfast is very rare in a persons life, this is a real treat! I spend time in the fitness center everyday. There is a nice variety I can participate in.

This place is so beautiful. When I moved here from Florida over 8 years ago, I was amazed at all the outdoor activities available. Sedgebrook has access to the Des Plaines River Trail where you can walk for miles. There are also many trails throughout campus. I can sit for hours and enjoy all the trees and wildlife that also call Sedgebrook their home. And the food here is amazing. I can eat their salads everyday! The soups are also delicious and change daily. I’m not a huge fish eater, but the grilled salmon is truly wonderful and the beef tenderloin is a mainstay. The chef does a tremendous job with the large menu and accommodates your dietary needs. Everything tastes so good!

We felt a part of the community immediately. Met people through playing bridge and then often had dinner with them and then met more people through them so forth and so forth! Activities are plentiful with book club, writers club, array of exercise opportunities and outside speakers and entertainers. Residents introduce and organize new activities that include movies and lectures.
