They were more than accommodating. They made the process very simple. They made it very easy for me to get my loved one in there. The Silver Creek Inn Memory Care is a nice place. The cleanliness, friendliness, value, care services, and activities are all excellent. I would recommend this community to anyone. It has been a really good experience. Everyone has been great and easy to work with. I'm really pleased.

my mother has been at the gardens for alittle over a month, and I have been very pleased with the care and the compassion for my mother and my family. the staff is very caring, the rooms are very clean and orderly. what I appreciate the most is the time the staff will give me to answer any questions I have about my mother. they call me when necessary and always keep me up to date on what my mother is doing and how she is feeling. thank you so much gardens for your care and I thank GOD very day that my mother is in this wonderful home.

Creekside is a wonderful place for my husband. The staff is kind, caring and very considerate of my concerns for my husband's needs. They quickly respond to my questions and act upon any irregularity that occurs. They occasionally have dips in care-giving staff, which is probably fairly common because their pay is low but the administration and nursing staff is top notch. They stay in touch with me about my husband's needs and work with the VA doctors who are my husband's primary physician network. I'm thankful I can call or visit anytime of the day or night and bring anything to my husband that would better meet his needs. The cost is high for this type of care but Creekside's rates start lower than many other facilities and it's exclusively memory care, which was important to me.

Our family is very happy the care our husband and father is getting here. While it always a challenge to have a loved suffer from dementia we do think his physical and mental condition has actually improved since he began residence in January 2015. The facility and staff is first rate and very concerned and caring. The patience that the staff shows for the residents is amazing. Someone from our family visits dad daily so we see a lot about how the operation is conducted and have become very aware of the care and conduct of the staff. We do not hesitate to recommend this facility.

I was impressed with the facility from the moment we arrived. A professional and caring atmosphere abounds. Amy,the director,gave a detailed presentation and patiently answered questions and concerns. The staff I observed are kind, yet firm with the residents. The facility is sunny, beautifully furnished, and impeccably clean. Reminded me of a vacation spa, I wanted to stay. I highly recommend a visit to Canyon Creek.

We are 100% very happy with dad being at the Sterling Inn. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone who is looking for an assisted living facility. My overall rating of this property is 5 stars. This is a very clean, friendly, caring community with a great value. I am very happy with this community. I rate all of the categories 5 stars. After several years of bringing my husband here for respite care, I finally had to place him permanently because of falling, wandering and increased dementia. It was an easy transition since he was familiar with the people and place. He had been resistant to showering so I'd bring him in for an hour and they would shave, shampoo and shower him. It was nice to bring a scruffy old man in and go home with a happy, clean handsome guy. The facilities are beautiful, the smell is nice, the caregivers are wonderful, often joking with those who respond well to that. They tailor care to the individual. For instance my husband often fell out of bed so now his mattress is on the carpet and he is not in danger. My life has changed so much for the better, knowing he has great care. I love this place!

I would recommend this place. They are very friendly and the value is great. The Care Services are also excellent. I would rate the Friendliness 5 stars, I would rate the Value 5 stars, and I would rate the Care Services 5 stars. I cannot rate the Cleanliness and Activities because I have not experienced that portion. Overall I give this facility 5 stars. As I stated above, I would definitely recommend this place.

My Mom has been at Sterling Commons for almost 3 years. The facility is very clean and accommodating. By far the nicest facility in the high desert. The staff is always very helpful and understanding of her situation. Alzheimers is a complex condition with many different situations. The staff is flexible to her's and the other residents needs. We are grateful to Sterling Commons for giving us the comfort of knowing Mom is secure and safe so that we can do some traveling and enjoy our retirement. My family and I are quite pleased with the care my dad receives at the Gardens. It is a the atmosphere is calm, it is a beautiful facility and smells clean. More importantly all of the staff there, know each of the residents as individuals. The residents there are always cared for with dignity and respect and as much personal touch as possible. I understand that there can be some guilt issues for people when it is time to place family members but I know I made the best choice for my dad. I am there several times a week and like what I see. I have enjoyed my visits and all of the residents as well as the staff who always make me feel welcome. I have NEVER had a communication issue at the facility. In fact, they assist us regularly in communication issues with health care providers.

Canterbury gardens is full of very kind staff..they have truly improved my aunt's quality of life! As well as been a huge help while we were selling her home. I would like to say thank you to Nic, Gretchen and the caregivers for all of their support and patience with our family through out this whole process. We are so thankful she is there.

The Canterbury Gardens was so good to educate and support me through a tremendously difficult time when I learned my mother had dementia. The Alzheimer Support Group was key to my survival!! Though the guilt is hard to swallow in placing my mother in an assisted living facility, I knew I wasn't able to do it alone. The Canterbury Gardens team was able to give her love, dignity, respect and compassionate care. The staff was educated on how to approach someone who has behaviors. I have no regrets knowing that I had made the right decision even though it was an emotional one!

I cannot recommend Sterling Commons high enough. The facillity, caregivers, staff and administration all treated our family with love and respect. I only wish we had moved my Mother to this home years earlier.

All of the people that work at Canterbury are very caring and are always there for you about any concern you might have about your love one, I have always said the people that work at Canterbury are my Fathers Angles, they watch over him, care for him, keep him safe, my Father and my self are very Blessed. Best Memory Care you will ever find.

My father has been living at Canterbury Gardens for six months and I could not be happier with his care. I love the home - like environment and the social interaction he has, the cheerful and friendly staff, and how clean everything is. When medical issues have occurred the nurses have been right on it and contacted both his family and his physician. I also appreciate how we, his family, are encouraged to participate in both his plan of care and the activities at the facility. I have visited at all hours and have, without exception, been greeted by cheerful, competent staff. My father receives the best care in the most pleasant environment possible. I am grateful to all the staff for providing such a place during a very difficult time in my family's life.

It was unbelievable that we found a place that my family and I felt so good about moving my dad in to. The warm atmosphere and endless social rooms and activities were fabulous but nothing compared to the pleasant helpful staff. Kudos to Kris who made every move in stumbling block a small pebble. We couldn't have done it without her help in finding funds through the VA. Thanks to all the loving, kind staff.

We moved my father from another facility in Longview because he suffered from dementia and they were not able to keep him The Gardens was our first choice but they had no beds so we placed him else where. When a bed opened we moved him and what a change it was. He went from a four person room to a two person room and had room to have a tv and chair in his room. He was able to roam around the home and was kept safe. From administration all the way down to the lowest worker and experienced nothing but loving care for my father. All the people that worked there were careful to see that my dads needs were met and they did it with a smile on their faces. The nurses were very professional and really kept up with all the meds my dad needed from ordering to administrating them. I never experienced seeing care people going about their business with love and caring for the person they were taking care of before. They truly liked what they were doing and it showed in the care that my father received. I would recommend this home to anyone that is in need of a caring place to take care of your loved ones. Everyone was great!!!

My Great Aunt is a resident at Canterbury Gardens facility. My Family is thrilled with the level of loving care our aunt receives and the generosity of this facility. Not only does this facility have great activities for its residents making their lives much more enjoyable, but the staff at the Canterbury Gardens has also worked with our family allowing us to partially pay for her care while we were waiting to sell her home. Our family highly recommends this facility!

My father has been a resident at Sterling Inn one year this month and he is very happy and feels secure in his golden years. When making this decision for him, due to dementia we as a family wanted him to always feel comfortable and cared for as a senior. The staff is excellent, Always showing their respect, kindness, and love everyday. There activities are always well planned and my father really enjoys his days with activities and socializing. As, a family we are very pleased with the cleanliness of the facility and pride that is taken by the Management. The meals prepared are excellent as well and on Holidays the time and effort put in for everyone and families are wonderful!! We are very happy and pleased with Sterling Inn and all of the staff. We recommend to others who are looking for an excellent home for their loved one.
