Juniper is a great help for myself as well as everyone else. At Juniper you feel a sense of family, warmth, and tremendous amount of love. Everyone that works here has been nothing but amazing especially the management. They have done so many amazing things and go above and beyond to make everyone happy and feel safe. Sincerity and love are what you feel when you walk in the door, and the same feeling carries you as you walk out.

Just wanted to write a wonderful review about Juniper Village in Williamstown. My mom has been there for a little over 2 years now and I can not say how wonderful they are. They are compassionate, caring, attentive to my Mom's needs. They are always available when I have a question or concern. [name removed] and [name removed] will call me when they think something is not OK with my Mom. I never feel like I am a bother to them or any question or concern is a problem for them. Everyone there including the nurse, housekeeping, med techs, maintance, cook etc are all wonderful. I could not be happier with Juniper Village.

I love living here. Anything I need or I would like to have they get it done for me. My children have recommended this place and they love it. I would recommended for anyone's loved one. The staff are happy kind and treats me great. They always joking around with us its so nice. The activities are fun and on going all day. I couldn't have asked for a better place to live

My mother has been at Juniper Village for almost 10 years. Several months ago, we had to make a change and move her over to dementia care. [name removed], the administrator, was wonderful assisting me with this move. Emotionally, this was extremely difficult for both my mother and myself. The support the staff and administration gave us was tremendous. My mother is thriving in the unit as she joins in the activities . The activities are varied, and the activity staff uplifting and caring. I have the confidence that my mother is getting the best care. Thank you staff and administration for all that you do.

truly a great spot to land in life.... and still have a life

Our mother moved into Brookdale Preston 6 years ago, and we have been happy with every aspect of the Brookdale Preston facility. The positive energy, positive people, the lay out of Brookdale and the care givers have proven to be nothing but POSITIVE!! This has been a difficult transition in our lives, and we are truly blessed to have Brookdale.

My husband has been at Juniper village since late [dates removed]. The care he has been given is top notch with very well trained care givers! The food service is excellent. Medical staff members are well trained+easy to communicate with when my husband needed to be transported to the ER the family was kept in the lopp, housekeeping is superb! Wonderful+upbeat music providers!

Excellent facility. Competent and helpful caring staff. Highly recommend.

My family and I enjoyed our visit to Juniper village at State college, PA and our tour with [names removed]. Although Im not quite ready to move I have told her im definitively interested in moving to and living there within the next 6 months.

I toured several memory care communities to find the one that was best for my wife, and when I visited Juniper Village I knew right away that I had found the right place. She has now been there for two months and I feel that my initial impressions were correct and that Juniper Village is where she should be. The "neighborhood" layout with rooms for 13 residents surrounding common living and dining areas gives the impression of being home rather than in one large commercial setting. It also allows the residents to be familiar with the caregivers in their area and for the caregivers to really get to know the residents for whom they are responsible. In addition, the outdoor courtyard actually surrounds the building rather than in the center of the building. This provides a substantial area for taking walks outdoors, sitting in the gazebo, etc. Both the professional and caregiver staff are truly compassionate people and highly experienced in memory care. Many of the staff have worked there for 10+ years and so there is little that they haven't seen and dealt with. I haven't met a person on staff yet that doesn't know my wife's name and most stop and give her a hug. The caregiver staff actually encourage me to stay and eat whenever I visit my wife around mealtimes. All of the soups and main courses are made from scratch and I haven't had a meal yet that I didn't enjoy. Activities run from 9:30am till at least 7:00pm. The enthusiasm and positive energy generated by the activities staff is special and definitely keeps my wife involved in stimulating atmosphere that has a positive impact on her attitude and cognition. Juniper Village isn't the least expensive solution for a loved one needing memory care, but I feel that the value received makes the investment worthwhile.

Poet’s Walk is outstanding! My Mother has been here for about 8 months and I could not be happier about the care she is getting. My Mother has Lewy Body Dementia and the entire staff is highly trained on how best to interact and care for her as well as the other residents with different dementias and Alzheimer’s. Everyone there is warm and caring to my Mother. And I mean everyone; whether they are a nurse, personal care assistant, front staff, cook, hairdresser or housekeeper, they treat her with warmth and caring and always make her smile. They know that each memory care patient has different needs and have their own program to help identify and tend to those needs (for example, who needs a hug, who needs some structure, who needs some music, etc.). I also like that they have a “Family Ambassador” which is someone you can contact with any questions, concerns, information, etc. and you can be sure they will coordinate with everyone else on staff. I have also been extremely happy with the nurses who communicate a lot with me and let me know if there are any changes or concerns with my Mother. There are also lots and lots of activities; when I go to visit my Mom, just about every resident is in the central living area doing activities, watching old movies, or just visiting. While they all have there own nice apartment/room, most of the time they are all in the central living area enjoying themselves. There are many, many more positive things I could say about Poets Walk and I am so happy that I chose this place for my Mom!

Lovely place and [named removed] was very helpful and pleasant! Sadly my father needed a higher level of nursing care than they have a Juniper.

We have been very happy with Juniper Village. All of the staff have made the transition for both my mother and I as comfortable as ever could be. She has been more active there then she has been in the last couple years. The physical and emotional care that she has received has been excellent. I especially like the way I have been informed about her progress and any needs and concerns that they have identified. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My mother was a resident. I was very pleased with the staff and the care she received staff is very professional and friendly and very responsive. They genuinely care about the residents. My mom went from independent living, to assisted, then to the dementia unit and finally hospice. I felt all levels of care met her needs. I was very happy she was there and felt she was in capable hands. It was nice to have confidence that she was safe and cared for. I would highly recommend this facility.

My loved one lives here. It’s a wonderful place, we really love it. The staff is real nice, the residents are friendly, and I love the dining room. It’s so classy and it’s really what you want. The food is excellent and there are plenty of options to choose from. Everything is very clean and housekeeping comes by her room once a week to clean everything. There are also a lot of activities for the residents to participate in, like bingo and movie nights, and different holiday events. I would recommend this place for others and even for myself.

Tuesday 9:30am grocery bus to Weis is great! Connections staff has lots of good activities (exercise, 4pm happy hour on bridge, watercolor painting, bingo etc.). Housekeepers keep rooms clean daily! Kitchen staff has good meals and choice of salads and sandwiches and soups. Mail gets sorted. M – Sat. (Not on holidays!) Nurses are very helpful with meds, diabetics’ blood sugar and all questions!

Juniper Village is the best community that I have toured. The top qualities impressed me. The competencies of the leadership team. The caring environment. Beautiful environment very clean and healthy living environment. This is a top 5 star rating for seniors.

During our time to first tour the facility, we had the unfortunate timing because the alarm was going off because of some electrical issues. We liked the fact that it was a one level facility but the main turn off was the price. Had it not been for that, we may have considered moving forward and having my loved one here. The facility itself seemed pretty contained, however my loved one tends to wander and she may have found herself outdoors without anyone being aware of that. So we went ahead and gone somewhere that was a bit more secured. Overall the community itself was still very nice.

We moved my mom to Daylesford from another local Senior Care facility. Daylesford has vitality, a fresh and beautiful facility and caring staff. The activities director - [Removed] - is incredible. She proactively reaches out to the residents to ensure that they are participating and feel included. Daylesford isn't cheap but it is a good value.
