Juniper Communities

I toured this community while searching for a loved one. I found the atmosphere to be refreshing and each associate we encountered was friendly. We intend to come back for at least one of the outdoor summer concert series.

This place has such a good feel. I met friends for dinner in the 32 Club at Juniper about month ago and it was delicious. The coffee was good too. Of course no place is perfect but the people who work there are so attentive and genuinely seem to care. It's beautiful when you walk in the building. The outdoor patio area overlooks the creek - it looks like great spot to sit and read a book. The library is very nice and I like that it is managed by people who live there. The updates they have done in the last few years are beautiful and the building is clean. I always look forward to going back.

Juniper Village at Lebanon provides compassionate care for residents, plenty of opportunities for engagement and a verity of delicious meal options. There are always exciting events hosted monthly that are for the residents, their families and folks in the community.

They were attentive and encouraged him to be social but allowed him some alone time also. Nurses were great keeping us informed about meds and any concerns. It was so friendly and easy to visit dad in Poets Walk. When dad came home to be with us his last days they called to check in on him. We feel he was well taken care of.

This is the best experience I have ever had with this type of facility. I have found the staff to be kind and helpful. They address anything that needs to be handled immediately and efficiently. I have met some of the kindest people that work there. They try to find activities that are enjoyable for your loved ones. The dining at this place is great and really makes a big difference. Very happy to have found this place. I would definitely recommend this place for your loved ones.

The staff at The Village the Juniper Village is absolutely wonderful and there are several of the employees there that have been there since it started in 24 years ago so that speaks volumes to me. Every time we go to see my dad if we have any questions at all whoever is available answers our questions also [name removed] and [name removed] were the two people that I that were a part of our decision and they're always happy to help always ready to answer or explain any situations.

Juniper is like its own family. Our mother has made friends quickly and loves her new home. [names removed] have all been wonderful. The process couldn't have been easier.

Overall we were very pleased with Juniper. Unfortunately dad was only there for two weeks before he had a health event and was unable to return. They were professional and very well run.

Juniper village has been a God sent to our family. I met with [name removed]several months before we made the decision to move my mother. [name removed]made the transition completely flawless. She set up all the transportation and all I had to do was make the payment. They greeted her that day with open arms. My mother is hard to please and she couldn’t be happier. The meals are all made fresh. Her care is second to none. Anyone looking for a caring place for their loved should give this facility a serious look. They call after every dr visits to update me on any changes. They truly are a caring facility.

My loved one is a resident at Juniper Village at Mount Joy and everything about her experience at this facility has been just great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The meals/food seem to be good. My loved one's room is kept clean. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We took a tour of Poet's Walk San Antonio when searching for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. This facility and our tour were great. Our tour guide was very good. The cleanliness of the facility was great. The atmosphere and friendliness were also great.

Juniper was a perfect fit for our Dad after a surgery. He still needed extra care. Juniper was so warm and inviting. Dad was given wonderful care and treated with love and respect. Unfortunately Dad did not recover from other complications prior to his surgery. Everyone at Juniper from the front desk, medical staff, doctor, chef,activities aid, housekeeping, Directors, [name removed] and [name removed] all made our precious time with Dad so special. We thank you all for being so kind to our family. You were definitely the right choice for our Dad and us.

Juniper provides excellent comprehensive care for my mother. Her needs are extensive and I feel staff are diligent in meeting her needs. The care staff know her and show compassion for her multiple needs. I believe they go beyond just “doing their job”. They communicate when there are issues and try to solve them. Although my mother cannot often participate in the activities, the facility offers many interesting and fun activities. They try to involve families in their concerts and offer other family times.

What a treasure Juniper Village is, not only to the residents but also the community. The welcoming atmosphere, cleanliness and attention of staff members to the elders cannot be overlooked. Juniper is always participating in activities which brings the community through its doors and gives a glimpse into their world. Highly recommended place for a loved one to call home.

Every member of the staff from Director on down is kind and ready to serve their assisted living roles. My sister in law is in a different home in Chester County and has many things stolen from her. NONE of that at Juniper. My mother is there. Never ever locks her door. Nobody does. Nothing ever stolen. Wash is done each person at a time, so no items are lost or misplaced there. She needed an electric recliner in which to sleep. It was provided. She needed physical therapy, which worked fantastically! Transport is available to specialist appointments, but house doctor and nurses take care of everything else. They can do x-rays on site, which made my mother's experience so simple before socialist visits. They also partner with a pharmacy. My mother worked in such a home for many years and said she is amazed by the quality of care 24/7. When I ask her, she says she cannot think of a single complaint! Each resident has a necklace with a button to push for service of any kind 24/7. Most employees have been there for many, many years and love their jobs. Very clean. Lovely. Walking trail around the facility. Quiet. My wife said she would love to live there if the time comes for her to need such a facility. I have to agree with her. A wonderful place that helps people through their difficult old age situations.

The entire staff at Meadville are all very accommodating and responsive to needs. Staff goes above and beyond to help best your needs, which also includes prior to admission. Highly recommend working with this great team at Juniper Village at Meadville. You or your loved one will be in great hands.

Juniper has been a better fit for mom - she gave up some room space but got more staff/activities/care for about the same cost. They play balloon volleyball, beanbag tic-tac-toe, lots of singing, word games, reading aloud (ie: Chicken Soup for the Soul). They had live music for Mothers Day and are having a car show for Fathers Day.

The building itself was very clean and well taken care of and the people were very nice. My mistake was not knowing what questions to ask. Which is very important and that is about health insurance and what care is available from Medicare and where are the meds coming from. Make sure the unit has their Medicare numbers. So many things. I don't agree with the monthly care charge for those people that can walk and talk, and dress themselves and not need assistance. Overall I would still recommend Juniper Village to others looking.

The tour experience we had at Juniper Village Monroeville was a 5! My mom was going to go there. They wanted her to go to rehab and get stronger first. Mom had declined during her hospital stay. She wasn't able to walk. [facility name removed] was a better fit. They took in all levels of dementia patients.
