Yosemite Gardens is a great community. It is just a super community. It is a fun loving community. Our loved one really loves being here. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

My dad loves it there. It was a very smooth transition. The management staff is extremely wonderful, attentive and approachable. If he's not down at dinner, someone goes to check on him. It's all positive! I think it's equitable to others around. I think there could be more activities for men. A lot of the things seem to be women-oriented but there are more women there. It's absolutely beautiful and they're very good about doing things quickly. When there was a little rise from the lenolium to the rug, it was hard to get the walker over. We told them about it and they came right up and fixed it.

It was a very nice place and she was comfortable there until she got sick. The surroundings, the cleanliness of the area, the housekeepers, all of that was wonderful, they helped me find renatl insurance and the office managers were really helpful with everything, even the food was good. When she got to cottonwood things didnt go that well because the 24 hour care that i thought we were getting turned out to be aids and not RNs. The RNs were supposidly on call but when I called them i got their voicemail and the hours they were working. When she had gotten sick no one had called to tell me, when she returned they gave her medications and they said she wasn't taking them but I don't think anybody was giving them to her. Something didn't go right.

My sister first went in for no more than a day or two so shes just now back there again but now were doing 1000 percent as far as the carlyles concerned shes having no problems with them. Now she's meeting a few people so I think it's going to be fine. I dont have any reservations about it. She doesn't really need any care from the carlyle, she has a home health nurse and some other therapy but thats independent of the carlyle. If she needs something though they help her, they're pretty much adaptable to her needs and there hasn't really been anything that ive needed that they haven't done. Shes met some people that play cards and she sat in on one card game and theres other things that she'll most likely participate in once she's better.

They are just excellent. I can not find anything bad to say about them. They were just an excellent community for our loved one and they have been doing a really great job. We are very pleased with them and can not say enough good things about them.

We did have lunch with them and had 2 - 3hour conversation with one of the resident managers. Grounds are beautiful along with the facility. Strictly an senior living community with some PT/OT on site, but no step down to assisted arrangements can be made at this location.

Very nice. Like this one. Problem is Illinois financial support less than wisc as best I can tell at this point. Top of Illinois list and would be happy with this one.

I'm very happy here. It's very clean. So far they can't get into my room to clean because I have so many boxes but everything else - the bathroom, the kitchen - is very clean. All of the staff are very nice. The food is very good. They seem to have quite an experienced staff and they seem to be well staffed. If somebody is sick there is somebody that will take over. They never say "well, that's not part of my job description." I'm in independent living but they do have care people here. They bring them down to meal time and that's been more necessary lately because one of their elevators has completely conked out. They are volunteering to bring people down even for activities, not just meals. They help the people very much and seem to know people's names. They have a lot of variety for activities.

Our experience with Maplewood Estates has been very positive. Mom is really enjoying it there. I really like that they have two managers that live on-site, they are very caring and on top of things. The layout is not as big as other facilities we toured, about 110 apartments. The hallways here are nice and wide and my mom really likes that they are painted and have lots of artwork hung in the hallways. It feels less institutional. My A Place For Mom Rep, Laura, really helped explain the difference between senior/independent living and assisted living. Mom was a really good fit for the independent living offered at Maplewood Estates. They have residents sign a 3 month commitment and then residents rent month to month. Over the first three months the residents are given orientations to learn more about the facility. We were worried about how mom would adjust, but it only took a couple of weeks. We've had a really good experience with Maplewood Estates.

We looked at several communities in our area and Cottonwood Estates really was the most impressive. They offer a wide variety of care services without having to go into assisted living. The location is also really convenient.

Thanks to "A Place for Mom" we were introduced to this property. As soon as we pulled up to the front door mother said "this is a gorgeous place". Cottonwood seems to have everything mother was looking for in a new home. A door that went directly outside to her beautiful patio, a walkway around the facility on those days she wanted to take a stroll, friendly management and residents and hopefully enough activities to keep her busy every day. She'll be moving in within the next two weeks and is looking forward to her new adventure in Texas.

I have visited Montgomery Park and loved it. My parents have not seen it yet, however.

Lakeview Park is just an excellent community. I have eaten here with my mother multiple times and the food is just exquisite. The rooms are very spacious and clean. They are always bright and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly and from the beginning to the end everything is just great. If I was going to design an Independent Living community I would design just like Lakeview Park. I would highly recommend this community to anyone.

We looked at a couple different communities and chose Essington Place because it was very affordable. My dad is happy here and really tries to participate in activities, of which they offer quite a few. They have some small areas outside to sit and relax. This community really has a home like feeling.

I loved it. It's great package. Huge living spaces and many things to do within a block or short shuttle rides. Library next door, Metra, 3 churches, beautiful park. Unfortunately my Dad wants to live in the country and not in an urban setting even though it's in a residential area. I'm going to recommend this to my neighbor who was recently widowed.

Mom liked Maplewood Estates the best. She felt the most comfortable here, they made her feel comfortable, the staff really care about the residents. She likes the food for the most part, too.

I like The Oaks of Auburn facility, nice courtyard. They offer free transportation for residents to doctors appointments and shopping. The staff is very friendly and accepts feedback from residents. I am working with the staff to help my loved one get acclimated to their new surroundings. They provide 3 meals a day and clean rooms and linens [sheets, and towels] once a week. The Oaks is a pretty nice facility.

My wife was the one who chose Montegomery Park and she chose it primarily because of it's location, value, services offered, and the people [staff & residents.]

We had a great experience. The staff were helpful,and friendly. Tom was knowledgeable and welcomeing. The facility was bright,open and Very clean. The rooms we saw were well laid out. We left there saying that the bar for the other facilities has been raised and will be very difficult to meet, Thank you for helping us get started on our search.
