I think they do a fantastic job at Brookdale Shadow Hills! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they take great care of the people who live here! They keep my loved one very active and busy, and she really seems to have settled in well. The nurse here is really on top of things, as well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking in the area!

Our experience with Cottage Village has been absolutely fantastic so far. I'd give them top marks across the board. The way they've handled every issue we've brought up has been fantastic, they bend over backwards to make sure everything is just the way you need it. I would recommend them highly to anyone looking into senior living.

Everything has just been great. We would recommend Cottage Village to anyone; in fact we already have recommended them.

The staff is really friendly and is very helpful they always do the best they can to meet with you. They assisted my father in planting a personal garden right outside his apartment. They helped him by painting where the sprinklers were and let him borrow tools. This community is also pet friendly and will allow putting up a fence to keep the pets. My father took a bottle of Tabasco sauce inside the dining area and when he went back in a different day every table had a bottle of Tabasco. When he was going to this community he would say he would not eat the food and now if he is with me he asks what dinner plans are so if it does not sound good he will go back and eat at the community. The dining area is more like a restaurant they have menus and offer a big variety of choices. My mother is in an associated community and Cottage Village offers shuttles to and from her location. I feel like I got the best possible value that I could find and my father really likes it now.

Mother has been a resident of Autumn Leaves for eight months and we believe that it is the best place for her. Everyone on staff is wonderful and so caring. They always take time to stop and say kind words to Mother as they go about their very busy days. They provide a real home-like atmosphere and try to engage each resident as much as possible. Countless times each week I see residents being hugged and cared for. They sing and pray together every day, along with daily activities and special occasions. And to top it off, the food is great!! We are very grateful. [Removed]

This facility shows genuine care and feelings for their residents. The staff goes out of their way to make all feel at home. The kitchen staff and the cook plans all their delicious meals daily. The administration goes beyond in planning activities to encourage residents to stay active and socialize. Another important aspect is how clean the room and building is kept. If looking for a facility for a loved one, you should consider this one.

The staff are overall good, there is one night person who makes it hard for my mom. The nurse does not follow doctor's limitation and tells mom that she is able to. I can tell when they have activities, my mom gets happy. Her favorite is group exercise and crafting. Just to know she is happy, out and about is important to us. She also goes to church services, The meals are good and they started introducing different choices for dinner. The lunch is wonderful. I have recommend people to them. The residents are welcoming and very nice. I love the size of the facility. I also like the flexibility of the plan for care charges, no big problem when making changes.

The staff members at Vitality Living Shadow Hills were very friendly and helpful during our tour experience. We found another facility to have a nicer appearance, so we went with them instead.

The staff members are really friendly, but just like many other places they are struggling with staffing and just seem like they do not keep enough people. We have not had a meal there ourselves but based on the feedback we get from our loved one there, it is great. Based on our overall experience so far we would recommend Vitality Living Shadow Hills community to other families

Great place for my mom thank y'all so very much. Yes I would and did already. They are great all around. Food is a huge deal and my mom is picky. She likes the food so I am so happy. The activities are kind of dull but realize my mom is only 77 so it's geared for the majority of the older residents. I honestly have nothing bad to say. The staff gave me their personal cell number and the work after hours all the time. It's a nice smaller community great for dementia. We're blessed to be there. I just spoke to my mom and she told me they have a birthday party for her today she was shocked. Yup we found a good place

I toured this community. It seemed very nice on the inside, but every resident I talked to told me not to move my loved one here. I noticed that it wasn't super handicap friendly. The apartment they had available for my loved one (she wanted a 2 bedroom) was literally almost a quarter mile walk from the common areas. Way too far. It was also very expensive compared to some of the others. They offered transportation, but said my loved one's Dr office was outside of the radius and they wouldn't be able to transport her to and from Dr appointments. The chef was very nice and offered to make us a meal to try. They had food options available 24 hours a day. Ultimately, we chose to keep looking. Mostly because of the price, distance from apartment to common areas, and the transportation issue.

I toured this community and it was great! It was a little more spread out, which wouldn't have been a problem for me. I was ready to move in. The only problem was the cost, it was a bit higher than my other options. But I would recommend checking it out.

They do their job and take care of the resident, which is good. I have less worry about my loved one. I would recommend asking a lot of questions about billing. In the beginning, I had frustration with unexpected things on the bill, when the expected cost was already high before that. So I just recommend getting everything in writing when it comes to finances. My loved one is not happy with the food, and it doesn't look that great to me either. But it does look like they have a lot of activities if you chooses to participate.

I have been very pleased with the care my husband gets there however, I do stay on top of his care needs on a daily basis. The caregivers are always willing to go the extra mile with whatever I need or I feel my husband should have. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and it is well seasoned and never bland. I would recommend this community to others families if you can afford it.

This looked like a very nice well taken care of community. The person that took us on tour was very friendly and helpful. This community seems to offer some daily activities and some nice amenities. This community was just a little higher priced than what we were looking for.

I have no complaints about how things are going for my loved one since she has made the move into the community. The staff are all very helpful and I am comfortable with the quality of care they are providing her. She has had no complaints about the meals and enjoys participating in activities from time to time with the other residents.

The care is going fine and like most places there are some issues but they are taking good care of my mom. They have been real good to straighten things out. They are honest and willing to work with me. The medication aids people really care about her. We had to do something fast and we appreciate the help very much from A Place For Mom.
