The community is a good place for the memory care unit however if you are looking for other care I would probably not recommend. I really like that the food served to the community is very good. I am happy with the food served to my loved one. I wish when activities are going that was more attention given to the residents who need it.

The food is good. They have a lot of activites. lWe picked this community because, we liked the way it looked outsid. It's a cottage style community, and it's not institutionalized. The staff is super freindly, nice, and it's clean. They have a lot of choices for breakfast, and lunch. I am getting quite a bit, for they money that I am paying. It's a good spot. My loved one is getting, the care needed, for what I am paying.

We really appreciate the way they interact with our loved ones and the other residents. They have always done a good job, when we come to visit throughout the day and unannounced we always see them taking care of the residents and showing them genuine care and compassion. Our mother and mother in law can at times be very difficult, argumentative and the staff never argue back or escalate the situation. They speak to them with kindness, and patience. Good or bad the staff are in constant communication with our family. They are so accommodating and attentive. We were our mother care taker for 8 years and Vitality has given us our life back. They give us that peace of mind that our loved one is safe and that is such a relief of stress.

I would tell others that this is the best place for your loved one. This is the place I want to be when I need this type of community. The smell is nice in the main building. They have cottages. The grounds are beautiful. The walkways are big enough that you won't stumble and fall. The walker is able to go over all the sidewalks without any bumps. They have areas to sit outside. They are so organized for the entire time my loved one has been at this community.

Brookdale Shadow Hills is a great place for our dad! It is a smaller facility which suits our dad perfect! He does not like crowds and so this is great! The people who oversee the facility are friendly and very helpful! The facility is very clean and they are active in keeping dads room clean! The food is wonderful and delicious! As far as the activities go there is a lot to do! Board games, painting, art, music, and church are just to name a few! Our dad does not do any of these except church as they are geared towards women more that men! But he loves listening to his iPad music and the internet is fantastic for that!!! We give the place 5 thumbs up!!!! Thank you Brookdale for your wonderful service!!!

Brookdale Shadow Hills had a warm and welcoming presence from the very beginning of our visit. We were greeted warmly and found the staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all of our questions. Moving my dad into assisted living has been such a confusing experience, but their marketer, Taylor helped answer our questions and we left feeling so much better. I would recommend Shadow Hills to anyone thinking of a care facility for their loved one.

I had a loved one at Brookdale Shadow Hills and I cannot say enough good things about this community. While were were only there for a short time, the staff and management showed nothing but compassion and love for my father. They were always available to discuss his care and answer any questions we had. I would give this community more than 5 stars if I could.

I had a very positive impression of this community. My tour guide was [name removed], who holds a Master’s Degree in gerontology. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming and I was told they had an award-winning chef. Many of the rooms are studio-style, at about 300-400 sq ft, but Taylor said there was a one BR floorplan, which is not shown on the website or in the brochure, and that one is about 600 sq ft. There are also one- and two-bedroom cottages. The rooms are in the process of being updated, which makes the community look cheerier, when compared to other older communities which tend to have a “tired” look when not updated. My first impression was very positive.

My mom moved into Autumn Leaves in June. She goes to the dining room at 8am and doesn’t go back till 7:30 at night. They keep her SO active. After the first month living here she recognized three people at church that Sunday. I feel like it’s becau this community keeps her mind and body so active. You pay a more but it is worth every penny.

My Father n Law has been at Autumn Leaves since June , I am so happy that we found them . The staff at AL is one of the best I have ever been around . They treat him with love and compassion as if he was there parent . The fascility is clean and very well furnished . I love the fact that its a very secure , no one can come in or out with out some sort of key card or code . They have several activities they do with the residents , they keep them very busy so they do not just sit in there rooms , they get them up and get them dressed . My mother n law was in a different home and there is no comparison to AL . Best place to take a loved one because they will be taken care of with love and compassion .

Very impressed! Clean, inviting, homelike. Small enough for very personalized care. The nurses and administrators I met were kind, professional, and obviously cared for their residents. They had a system for maximum freedom for residents, including outdoor gardens in a closed courtyard, but also to keep the wanderers safe. The food was really good, and I thought their ideas of a room for meals with visiting family and for occasional "parties" and "fancy dinners" for the residents was a great idea. I also liked hearing they have community service days, outings, gardening, crafts and many other activities to keep life interesting and encourage relationships and exercise. I really wish there were an "autumn leaves" in Colorado, for other relatives of mine should the need arise!

I really liked the exclusive package deal that this community offered us. From my mother's move in date till now everything has been going good. The staff take good care of her. I have had a chance to try meals with her they are tasty and healthy. The community is up-kept and most importantly she is in a safe place.

I can not say enough about how good this community is. Mom is participating in activities she has not done in years. The food is excellent they offer snacks during the day and the food is fresh. This is a brand new clean community. They offer 3 dining rooms that allow residents that need different types of assistance to eat together. The staff are fantastic and patient with my mom.

I really enjoyed the things that they have to offer as activities. We are having a little medical problem going on right now, but that doesn't have anything to do with the staff. Overall it has been very satisfactory. I found the nurses to be easy to work with. So far it has been a pleasant experience.
