We really appreciated the Manager [name removed], he was great to work with. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I toured this community, it was our second choice. I'd say it's a good choice for starting out in Assisted Living. It's more affordable that some others in the area. They don't have a Memory Care unit, which we knew our loved one would need in the future. There also seemed to be a bit of a power struggle between our tour guide and management.

When we toured with Morningside of Bellgrade, there was a lot of construction going on. It definitely felt chaotic. We just did not want to put our loved one in the middle of all of that.

Don't take their word for things. Make sure you explore and ask a lot of questions. In the initial interview, we were told that if our loved one wasn't downstairs for breakfast by 10am, then they would reach out out to her to make sure she was okay. But that's not true - they're not doing that. And they're not proactive in encouraging participation is social activities, which their sales person also said they would do. I do love the apartment. It's set up nicely, and I wouldn't mind living there myself. It just seems like my loved on might be more on the verge of Assisted Living vs. Independent. I still think it's one of the better places in the area that we looked into.

Overall we would recommend this community to other families based on our experience. PT and OT was wonderful. The nursing and care staff didn't always have the best communication with each other, and they were not good at all about communicating with us until we had a meeting with administration and them there. I would add that care was ok there...not horrible but not stellar either. Part of the problem might have been low staffing.

We do like the staff members here we do think they are very friendly and do a really good job. According to our loved one the meals need a lot of improvement - the service seems to be okay but the meals a lot of the times come out cold and the daily options they can pick from sometimes are completely out of.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a great experience, their staff team are phenomenal and that was their biggest selling point

We have had a very good experience with Mt Arlington Senior Living. The nursing care provided is excellent. The aids have all been very good. I would recommend Mt. Arlington to others looking.

The least amount of time you can do a respite stay at Tuscany Villas is a month. It is a great place and [name removed] was lovely. The rooms were great as well. The end result was not what we wanted, but I do not blame that on Tuscany Villas.

They have very good Programs and entertainment for the residents. The facility needs upgraded and better ventilation. We picked this community, because it looked good and was close to my loved ones home.

They could do a better job of changing their patients more often and doing laundry more often. They do take care of concerns when I mention them, but I'm paying a lot of money and shouldn't have to bring those types of things up. That being said, I looked at eight different places before selecting HeartFields, and I still think it's a better option comparatively.

Good community, we though the fit would be better for our loved one at another community we saw.

Our tour at Palms of Mt. Pleasant was great. The people seemed great. It was a more affordable option. The facility was just a little run down, and it was farther away from where I live.

My loved one seems to like the food. The staff seems to be okay. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

The staff at The Haven and The Laurels are always very welcoming, right as I am signing in. The aids and techs always acknowledge me when I'm visiting. They always make sure that I'm informed of my loved one's status when I arrive. The staff at The Haven and The Laurels in Stone Oak respond in a swift amount of time, if my loved one needs assistance. The staff always assists my loved one to the very best of their ability. I haven't had a chance to get to know a lot of the people, but the staff that I do interact with are caring and they always tell me that they enjoy being around my loved one. The dining room is in the center of a u-shaped set up called a "neighborhood", so when my loved one walks out of her door, she always knows where to go and where she is at in the community. That is so important for memory care. You must go to the website and look at the photos! In the center of the U-shape is the hair salon, dining area and ice cream parlor. It makes it feel like a neighborhood community! Everyone will get together for meals. The community provides menu choices that are balance and healthy. It is really good food. They make sure mom gets her favorite snacks that I bring in for her to have. When my loved one requests snacks, the staff make sure she receives in in a timely manner. They offer activities to my loved one, but she typically likes to be in her room. There is a huge calendar with all the activities and they always invite her. The balance of care and cost is 5 stars! The care they extend to my loved one, in a memory care situation, is worth it! I trust them with my loved one and I know that she can not get outside of the secured area. Again, that is very important for my loved ones condition.

They do need more daily cleaning in the residents rooms. The residents have a pendant they have that they wear around their neck but they wear it for routine things as well, so if you push the button they don't always come as quickly as needed since it is not held to a standard of emergency.

The staff is just fantastic and based on our experience we would recommend The Forum at Tucson community to other families.

I have nothing but good things to say about The Gardens of Virginia Beach. The director of sales [name removed] is fantastic. I love her style of management and transparency, especially with the pricing. They have so much activity planned for the residents each day. I get emails of the events calendar and there is lots going on. They work with us as the family very well. It has been a perfect fit for my dad, he does great with the home like environment here. The staff have been very friendly. I would recommend The Gardens to others.

7.5% increase last year. 7% this year. 14.5 over the last two years. I guess they want more empty rooms. I had to figure the increase out because it was not included in the letter. My concern is over the money, not the people who work here.
