I moved my cousin into Sunrise of Barrington on [date removed] after getting personal accolades from others who have had their loved ones there. From meeting the Director to working with the intake and nursing staff the experience could not have been more positive. I was assured that now they would be the caretakers and I could be the family who came to enjoy visits and set our relationship back to where it was. The weight that was lifted by know the care given to my family member was amazing! If we had a doctor appointment they were ready to get in the car when I picked them up. I visited at all hours and they were engaged in activities and were in good spirits. The communication about status, medication and health are thorough and frequent. I even got a call about a small cut and that a bandage was applied! Then with the onset of COVID and the shut down of visit the communication was even better. The staff worked with families to keep us informed and to adapt to visits outside as soon as they could. I would, and have recommended, Sunrise of Barrington to anyone. They have a special place in my heart and that of my extended family. Having someone walk with you through the journey of a loved one have Alzheimer's is a gift like no other.

We just moved my mother into Willow Falls a month and a half ago. My mother lived out of state and my father passed away 2 years ago. Mom was having a hard time without dad and then living so far away made it so hard. We had to get tough with mom and move her to Illinois. She fought us on it because she did not want to leave her home where she had lived for over 30 years. I felt terrible taking her out of her home and I couldn't give her the care she needed in my home. It was such a tough decision to put her in assisted living. You never know if you are doing the right thing. I did my homework on Willow Falls and from the time I called to inquire about the facility to the time mom moved in and up until now, every employee has been great! Everyone has been so passionate and helpful. I know they are watching out for my mom and they are taking great care of her. The other day I talked to my mom and she told me she loved it there and does not want to go back to her house in Florida. That speaks volumes! Anyone that is considering moving their loved one(s) to a facility - look no further - this is the one that you can move your loved ones into and KNOW they are being treated with kindness and they are being treated right.

Our family has been very pleased with the services provided by the Brookdale Burr Ridge team. The care services provided to our loved one have met/exceeded our expectations. The wellness director and her team are committed to the health and safety of our loved one and maintain open communications. Having this confidence in the quality of care and responsiveness to inquiries has been especially important during the pandemic. Although social events and activities are limited now due to social distancing, the team is doing all they can to keep our loved one connected to family/friends and the community.

This is a very nice facility with a friendly and caring staff. My mother constantly tells me how glad she is that she is at Brookdale.

My dad has been at Brookdale Burr Ridge for several years. The staff members there, from his caregivers to the front desk to the marketing staff, know his name and know many aspects of his life story. This facility is very “high touch.” My dad is continually in contact with other people there who care about his well-being. They know me and my husband and always seem to know what is going on in our lives, which tells me that they are taking the time to listen to my dad. We are very pleased with the care and support my dad is receiving at Brookdale and highly recommend it.

The care services provided to our loved one have met/exceeded our expectations. The Wellness Director and her whole team are committed to ensuring that our loved one is safe and healthy. Having confidence in this care has been especially important during the pandemic. The Wellness Director and her team maintain open communications and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Prior to the pandemic, the facility offered a variety of social events and activities that kept our loved one engaged in the community. Although these offerings are currently limited due to social distancing, the team is doing all they can to keep our loved one connected.

My mom has been at Brookdale Burr Ridge for two years now. Not only is she well taken care of, the staff has gone above and beyond to make sure that she feels comfortable. I’ve had lunches with her and the food is very tasty. They always have choices for the pickier eaters. I have to be honest, I looked at several assisted living facilities before settling on this one. I’m sure glad I made the right choice

I grew up on the water and I love it's by the park. I still arrive and was able to bring my car. I was born here and I am glad I am back to live here! The caregivers are wonderful and do anything for you! The food is wonderful!

I am so glad that I am here! Everyone is so happy and upbeat. I liked meeting everyone and my neighbors. My caregivers are so helpful.

All of the staff and helpers have been very helpful at this time. I have had good food and I feel safe at all times. It feels a lot like home so I haven't been lonesome.

My mother was at the Rock Run dementia facility for a year and a half. She got the best care while there. They engaged her with daily activities, we as a family were there several day's a week and always took part in the family gathering and holiday programs. I would definitely recommend their facility to any family.

Bella Vista is a very nice place. The staff is very helpful. The food is not good. The room sizes and layout of the community are fine. They have outdoor space for residents to use. The staff is very nice.

Lakeshore Manor is a very professional and well run community. The staff has done a good job taking care of my parents. We are comfortable with them being at Lakeshore Manor. The room sizes and the layout of the community is good.

Kind, compassionate, and competent memory care for my 95-year old mom. The staff is responsive to both my mom’s needs and the family’s. They have even set up FaceTime and window visits for us during this pandemic time. Moving my mom was one of the hardest decisions, but after seeing how well she is cared for I know we made the right decision!

The staff is super friendly, I feel my mom has gotten wonderful care through the Pandemic at The Lodge. They have kept people out of the building to keep residents safe. The layout is good. I am very pleased with The Landing of Stow. My mom is getting the VA Aid and Attendance benefit which has been very helpful financially.

First of all, The managers and financial managers were willing to work with us and laid everything out for us. They told us they that would help us if and when our mom would run out of money. They made us feel comfortable on what to expect and they are really are there to help you. It is a beautiful place. All of the staff are nice and they really understand. There is an RN available everyday. My mom's room is beautiful with a balcony that overlooks a lake. There offer buses to to take my mom to doctors appointments. The food is great and my mom gets to fill out a menu daily with her selections. They offer a variety of choices and my mom says the food is excellent. The staff encourage families to join for meals as well.

At this time my mom is still adjusting to Bella Vista. I have not been able to visit since the quarantine. I am very comfortable with my mom being there, I feel she is safe. I feel it is a lot better then then the place she was at previously. Overall we are happy with Bella Vista.
