Really great people. My mom went into Woodbridge needing extra care. And left after 5 months helping others get to and from their seats in the dining room. Mom says if the apts were larger she would have loved to stay. Thank you for helping her get back on her feet and feel useful again.

My loved one seems very happy there, and he seems to well taken of. The only concern I had was that there was a fall, and I am not sure if maybe it could have been prevented, I don't know if maybe they let him out of the bus in a bad spot, or if maybe someone could have been there. I just don't know. The food portions were really small for him, but when I brought that up to them they were able to give him a bigger portion. They have been very nice, the people that helped after the fall did such a good job. They have been more than helpful with everything.

I had contacted "A Place for Mom" when I was trying to decide whether to leave my mother in Palm Bay, Florida or move her to Mt. Pleasant, SC (my home). "A Place for Mom" had 4 facilities from Mt. Pleasant and 4 from Palm Bay contact me. After researching each one, I decided to move her to Somerby. I wanted her close to me and Somerby is not only a beautiful, well-managed facility with everything to offer that my mother needs, it is 3/4 mile from my home! I could not be more pleased with the accommodations or the staff. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who wants the assurance that a loved one will be well cared for, and cared about.

So far, I have been very impressed with Heritage Place. My mother seems to enjoy it. She has not been there long, but is adjusting nicely. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and she enjoys the meals. I am sure she will take advantage of some of the activities offered.

The experience couldn't have gone better starting with the marketing person taking us on a walking tour of the facilities. Explanation of what to expect, the role of the staff, meals, activities, and all other aspects of daily life. My parents thank me EVERY time we go to see them for finding such a wonderful lace to live. The LOVE the staff, from the management, who actually know and check in with them daily, to the wait staff which joke and interact with them always, to the medical staff who take care of their needs, and the cleaning and maintenance crew that is unbelievable in keeping the building spotless! Again, we couldn't have found a better place for my folks to live! Ask for your own walk through and you won't believe your eyes!

It's tough for me to rate the activites because my parents don't really take advantage of them. But judging from the monthly calender that they put out they have a lot. They have art classes, exercise classes like yoga and tai chi, walking, movies and more. The only complaint is that the head person there, at Woodbridge Place, moved on to something else so there's an interim person in there right now. They're sitll working on getting reorganized and getting a replacement. We chose it because it's very clean, very friendly. We're extremely pleased!

We started out at level 4 care and I didn't feel there was enough staff to provide that. At mealtime most of them would be downstairs with other residents. My sister in law was eating in her room so at times there wasn't much help around. We quickly dropped to level 2 care. The staff was truly kind to her and always helpful to me if I could find someone. There wasn't some difficulty reaching certain people by phone, but understandable because they were always really busy!!!!!

It is such a blessing to be at Somerby. We need assistance with a few things. Everyone who works at Someby is always kind and helpful to both [name removed] and I.

Mom is well taken care of a Woodbridge. The staff are always welcoming, consistent, and attentive. The staff are quick to her needs and the directors are easily accessible.

My mother really likes her friends that's she made. 1. They could improve on the meals, because whatever they have for lunch they also have for dinner. 2. Keep the transportation van working, it's always broken. 3. The rent was raised without proper notice ( at least 30 days), not knowing what people's needs were. 4. Most of the staff are really nice.

The staff is great, I just wish there were more of them. My dad is unable to participate in the activities. The room size is good.

What we like the most about The Terrace is that it has more older, experienced mature staff. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The activities are numerous and fun and useful. I feel they're a bit understaffed, and a few aren't quite as customer service friendly as I think they should be. overall I would definitely recommend it. It's a beautiful place.

The dining room was like a restaurant -each person was patiently asked to choose from a menu and they had a wide range of times to be there for each meal. Staff is not easy to communicate by phone if you are in another town or state from your loved one.

think they are shorthanded right now which makes it difficult, however we would recommend this community to other families.

Anytime there's been an issue, they've been happy to try to address it immediately. And over I think they do actually a really good job. Plus he tried to have a lot of activities that benefit both the residents and the family members.

The activities was the very best part of the facility The social directors are incredible! Loved the activities and I would recommend Somerby community to other families based on the experience we have had.

Onboarding was a terrible experience but if you can hunt how the info you need, it's a great place. Room sizes and amenities offered are amazing. Feels homey and not like a "facility". Definitely very comfortable and beautiful. I would live there! Amenities and activities remind me of a cruise ship.

I searched many facilities. This one has a warm feeling and happy people! The apartment layout - more square than a long, narrow room, and carpet are nice features. The staff is friendly and the directors are willing to talk at any time. There has been some employee turnover. I believe it's a betterment. The servers in the dining room have good days and bad. The food is decent. Activities are a little bit light. Don't know if that changes with the seasons. For long term, I was pleased to know residents don't necessarily have to move to the memory care unit. They can stay where they are as long as they don't wander.

Overall it was a very good experience for our family. One of the things that we appreciated the most was the way the staff respected my aunt and the other residents. The few little issues we had we resolved pretty quickly. My aunt's biggest complaint was the food (isn't it always the food?!) but the few meals I had were bland but fine.
