It is the cheapest we've found, but you know it's so expensive out of pocket! I also want to say the [name removed] from A Place for Mom was great. I worked with her for a couple of years ago and reach out again. She set up the tour with Aspen. It was nice to have 1 less thing on my to do list

Ashley Court is a great place for a loved one needing memory care. My own mother has been at the facility for about 2 years now and I am very happy with the quality of care and service. No home will ever be absolutely perfect but Ashley Court is up there at the top. They truly care about your loved one and treat them with such care, dignity, and respect. The activities team is the absolute best around. I visit quite frequently thus I am able to witness Ashley Court's teams in action. I have been to other homes and frequently would see staff off in the corner playing on their phones, not at here. I feel that I have probably interacted with most of the employees, from the cooks, to med techs, nurse, activities, doctors and managers. The are all very approachable and eager to engage. They are wonderful. I can honestly rest at night knowing my mother is in the best hands. One thing I would like to see improved is the food, a better, fresher, healthier variety would be nice.

I volunteered for the Alzheimer’s walk at Ashley Court of Brighton October 2024. It was a lovely day, and everyone had a wonderful time! The facility is warm and welcoming, and the staff is kind and caring. It was nice to see so many volunteers and family members of all ages attending to celebrate with their loved one. In addition to the walk, there was also music, food, and prizes!

I volunteered at Ashley Court for their Alzheimer's fundraiser and I was very impressed with the facility. Even as a volunteer, I could tell how much the staff cares about the residents and it was great to hear how many activities they do with the residents. Furthermore, I was impressed with how clean and maintained the interior and exterior of Ashley Court was. If my husband and I were looking for an assisted living facility for one of our loved ones, Ashley Court would definitely be a facility we would choose.

The residents seem very happy there. They seem to have plenty of activities to do throughout the day. The activities director keeps them engaged and gives them a variety of things to do. The staff works well with the residents and they seem very happy there.

As a volunteer at the Alzheimer’s fundraiser event in October, I was able to observe the care, love and compassion the employees at Ashley Court of Brighton, MI exhibited to those living there. The employees were wonderful at coordinating activities and keeping the residents involved and engaged. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place to take care of their loved ones in need of memory care.

I have volunteered at Ashley Court in the Activities Department on many occasions. When the staff interact with the residents, they show them love and respect. They help them stay active, involved and cared for, just like family. I look forward to seeing their smiling faces and watching them enjoy themselves. Ashley Court is a clean, safe and loving environment with excellent staff and cared for residents.

I am a volunteer at Ashley Court. I volunteer assisting the Activities Department and it’s very enjoyable for me to be able to come and assist with outdoor activities, like the walk and other outdoor parties. Everyone on the care and activities teams are helpful and friendly. The residents and their families seem to enjoy things and the entertainment is always fun. Ashley Court does a really good job of educating the community and families about Alzheimer’s disease and does an outstanding job raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.

To see the love interaction between the workers and the residents that work here is wonderful and they are hands on. The activities are phenomenal here. I think that's exceptional. They have different events. There was none of this at the other place she was at. The singalongs and decorating, and bingo are a few of our favorite. It was minimal at the other place. At Aspen they are hands on and the residents are out and it's as if they are at home with family. You see happiness in the residents, and they are not stuck away in their room. The music and nail polish days are so fun being here. Also, if there are issues, they are addressed by the administrators.

My sisters and I needed to move our aunt quickly from skilled nursing to a memory care facility after a fall. We were frantic. We visited 6 facilities and found Aspen to be the best suited for our aunt's needs. It is smaller and all on one level. It is so cozy when you walk in. You are met with staff that are very eager to please you and your loved one. The care & compassion that the staff has shown our aunt & us has been remarkable. Our aunt can be difficult at times and they are always so patient with her. She has only resided there for two months so we are still working things out. During the holidays, they have had many nice events for the residents to attend. I was surprised to find out that our aunt actually went to a couple of them without me or my sisters being there with her. She resists the social events but we know how important they are to her well being and so does the staff.

I can't even begin to thank everyone for the help that you've afforded for her and making it very homey. And helping her transition from home to an assisted living. Communication is excellent with all the staff. Everyone is willing to find out what mom's needs are and address them.

Aspen is a pleasant and welcoming facility. The residents seem to be happy. They have plenty of activities to do and the setting is very intimate. Everyone knows everyone. I couldn't say anything negative about Aspen at all. 5 stars!

We have been providing a Christian worship service to the residents of Ashley Court for the past 3 years. Our experience with the activity personnel was of utmost excellence. The email communication is efficient and the visits are organized very well. From the moment we enter the door we are welcomed with a smile, and we feel we enter in a culture of genuine kindness, respect, compassion and also joy, for residents and visitors alike. We are very thankful for the workers in every department at Ashley Court because we know that it takes unity in good principles of care to create a good home for the residents.

The staff was amazing! It was well organized and we felt so welcome. There was something for everyone to do at all ages. Games, food, and music. The one thing that stood out to me was how much the staff loved the residents.

My husband and I volunteered at the walk for Alzheimer’s and it was amazing. The care givers and event coordinators were so caring with the patients and we could tell they loved them and were involved with them on a personal level. [named removed] has been an advocate for the patients there for many years and always goes the extra mile for them and their families.

There are some really good core staff that care for the residents. Day in & day out they put their best foot forward. They focus on dementia population and help the last few years/months be the best.

When my mother got dementia, and we started looking for places to keep her, we first tried to keep her at home, and it was too much. My mom lived at two different places and we were very unsatisfied. When we got here at Aspen we saw such a great difference, we love the way the staff interact with the residents with how they care, the residents are always clean. It's like they are treating for their own loved one. I saw a great difference in Mom's mental capacity and her smile. When she got here she started to remember me more, talking more, even walking more. There is so much warmness there.

I needed to find a memory care facility in a short amount of time for my aunt and had no idea where to begin. She was being released from the hospital. They had ‘A Place For Mom’ call me. Ashley Court was recommended as an option. I quickly got an appointment to visit. A wonderful feeling of relief and peace came over me as I toured the facility. It is located in a beautiful wooded area with four one story buildings for the different levels of care needed. My aunt has been there for almost five years. I’ve never been worried about her care because of the experienced, compassionate staff. I live out of state so I call frequently to check on her. I’m able to talk to her caregivers to ask about her and what her needs are. They have a great activities program to keep residents engaged in many different and creative ways. I feel a very personal connection with [name removed] RN, [name removed] and [name removed] . They have been there from the beginning of our journey, excelling in all that they do. Thanks to ALL!

We were very worried when we had to put my mom in a care facility, but Ashley Court eased our worries. My mom was given a new home when she arrived on day one. Not only did my mom get a new home, we as her children were given peace of mind because of the wonderful care. We are always updated on her progress and activities. They always go out of their way to ensure we are included to join in any activities. We are forever thankful to Ashley Court for taking such wonderful care of our mom!!

My mom lived at Aspen for almost three years before she passed on hospice care. She liked her room and how it had a living space and bedroom space. She liked the view outside her room with all of the trees. She always said that the food was good. She always liked the staff and said that they would always check on her. She especially liked [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed]. She knew them by name. She made a lot of friends here. The hospice team took great care of her too. The minute I walked into Aspen and saw their availability; I knew this was the place for her and did not hesitate to get her moved there.
