American House

I toured American House and had a good first impression. [community name removed] had an additional license - extended congregate care - which allowed them to provide more services for residents. I chose another community because it was located closer to me and had more to offer.

I would recommend them.

I'm very happy with American House. The people there are very nice. It's a great place for your mom or dad. It's close to where we live, so it's very convenient for us to go there and visit. Or if there's an issue, it's easy to drive over. And they've been very communicative about any issues my mom has. The facility is very nice and very clean. They have an updated setup. I would love to see them expand their gardens a little more to have more of a place for the residents to walk around. They have a nice koi pond and a little gazebo, but it's not expansive.

They could not go wrong at least checking into it. My loved one enjoys the Friday happy hour. She really enjoys her exercise activities like balloon volleyball. She has learned to play dominos and some card games. This keeps her active which we all appreciate.

We chose American House Cottage because of the availability of a unit at the time, the convenient location, and also the appearance of the facility, it was very clean. The main thing that I would tell others is that the management team here is very personable and helpful. I would definitely recommend to other families looking.

The staff do a really good job keeping the community very clean, and we were extremely impressed with the meals and dining service. Our loved one, due to her health, is not able to participate in the activities but they do have a lot going on, we are impressed with their variety. It is expensive but they do a good job taking care of our loved one.

Good tour, more assisted living style. Not what we were looking for.

I had a great tour with American House. I just did not find it as clean or spacious as another facility that I was looking into.

I chose Park Place because the size of the facility, there was plenty of space. Also I got referrals from some of the people who worked here and they said if they had to go somewhere, this would be where they went. The apartment sizes are very nice and spacious, I am very impressed. The staff has been super helpful, if I need anything they are here right away for me. I would absolutely recommend to others.

They ending up doing a trial stay for a week. There was a Covid outbreak during their week. So they did not get the full experience due to that. They thought they food was excellent, the staff were excellent. The facility was clean and well run. This is where my parents wanted to be. Food variety was good, flavor was good. Smaller portions but can ask for seconds. It's not inexpensive, not super expensive.

The facility works hard, collaborates best with the family to ensure that their is a good transition for my loved one and ongoing support.

We chose Anthology of Wildwood because of the overall good first impression and the proximity of the facility to our home. Mom loves the food that they serve. The staff is very friendly, caring and generous with their time. I would definitely recommend them, mom is happy here.

We like how close this community is location wise, it is very easy for our family to come and visit. We like how our loved ones have a villas as opposed to an apartment with an elevator, the villa is much more personal. Our loved ones take take advantage of the library and they have a bus transportation system. They are really enjoying the meals and dining service so far.

My siblings and I toured many senior places for our mom and we are glad we chose this place. Everything has been great and could not be happier with our choice. If you are looking for family- go here.

I would be remiss if I did not share my experience with [name removed] at American House in Bonita Springs. After visiting two other independent living facilities in the area prior to meeting with Julia and being underwhelmed, , I was so impressed with her professionalism, warmth, and grace in presenting the lifestyle at American House. Although not ready for Mom to secure a room quite yet, this facility will be our choice. All the women that I met there seem to be having a grand time! The grounds, staff, and overall energy was so nice to witness. Thanks again to [name removed] and the others that I met that make this such a "home".

They have a very caring leadership team. However, they are a bit understaffed. But the facility is top notch - clean and really well cared for. And with the food, we really liked the options, although it can be a little bit bland at times.

Home is where your heart is and this place will have it in no time. From the time I walked in the door for the first time, the atmosphere had me falling in love with the residents, the staff and the overall appearance of the facility, inside and out. It's a beautiful place and perfect to live out your senior years enjoying what you need the most; socialization, good nutrition and all the in-betweens. Residents here are always out and moving around. Whether they are taking a leisurely stroll around the grounds, attending a craft class, watching a movie, singing in the choir, playing games or relaxing in the lounge with friends and family, you are guaranteed to receive a friendly "hello". The staff here treats you like family. The support from the front desk all the way through maintenance will have you feeling right at home.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was good, the staff were very friendly. The community was just a little to modern for our loved one and still a little to new.

Overall the community had the services to meet our loved ones needs while they were there. Based on that experience we would recommend the community to others.
