Very nice location with several conveniences and shopping nearby. Staff there are great.

Quarry Station is a nice looking 3 story building with about 8O recently renovated apartments. The front door to the building is locked at all times. Residents are given a fob to enter. Each resident is given one parking pass and one visitors pass to be used for day visitors. There is also plenty of street parking in front of the building. I liked the feel of the place as soon as I entered the building. We took a one bedroom approximately 656 sq ft. The apartment looks nice and fresh. The kitchen has a refrigerator, electric stove and dishwasher. We had to get our own microwave. There is plenty of counter space and cabinets. The bathroom is large with a bathtub and hand rails. There is a big closet in the bedroom and one closet in the entry way. Washers and dryers on each level for a small fee. Wifi is free but other utilities are paid by the resident. Activities during the month; game day, movie day, Bingo ,trivia or Coffee. Overhead lights in every room is very nice.

I chose Coppermine apartments because of the value for the money. The apartment sizes are a nice size, they are not too big and not too small. I was able to fit my king sized bed in the bedroom. The office staff are really great and the other residents are friendly as well. I would recommend to others who are looking.

Staff is great, and it is peaceful. It's what I can afford.

We went to tour this community. We found the facility rather dirty and rundown. The public restroom was filthy dirty, and they carpeting in the bathroom was really thin. And the surrounding area is pretty depressing - industrial, etc. It was not in an appealing spot at all. They also allow smoking in the apartments. That was disappointing.

Quarry Station community is not clean at all, the staff members are considered remote so they are not there all the time. Compared to other communities this is about averagely priced. Due to COVID they don't have activities right now, but before they had adult coloring, a potluck dinner, they also had Christmas dinner. The rooms are about normal size.

The only thing more depressing than Quarry Station would be a bagpipe concert. Had we crossed a river bridge after visiting here, I would have been sorely tempted to jump.

Quarry Station does not have adequate services, full-time staff or security for the facility. Although it is funded by the non-profit Wesley Housing, the prices are high if your senior parent has not been approved for Medicaid. We found the staff to be very unresponsive, even in situations that were potentially dangerous to residents (arson, etc). No staff are available on-site 24/7 --- most seem to work on a limited part-time basis. I would NEVER recommend you have your senior Mom or Dad move into this facility.
