Best in the area!

Appletree Court is 100% a 5 in ALL areas. We love it there! The staff is outstanding! It's our first experience with a senior living facility where the activities on the calendar actually ALWAYS happen. The food is good, and there are lots of options. Housekeeping does a spectacular job in common areas. It's a little hit or miss in the apartments, but it's probably hard to clean around people who are sitting in their chair. The transportation guy is great. They have live music and happy hour every Friday, and they book pretty great performers.

Our families experience

All categories are a 5. Communication with staff is great. The staff seems to care about the residents and their family members. The day we met with the executive director and the director of wellness, they already had a plan in place for my dad. They based their plan on records received from the facility that requested my dad leave.

Great experience so far

They were very prompt, helpful, and more affordable than I had expected. It's been a great experience so far. They could improve the food score by having more variety. And healthier options. I was told it was like school cafeteria food. They serve frozen pizza. She prefers more grains and fish.

Great team and communication

Entire process went well and am happy for my mom as she is doing well in this environment. Food seems to be great. Activities are abundant and well thought out for the memory care facility. They take residents out on trips for sight seeing and just yo get out of the normal. Always have a smile when I visit.

Vitality Living: A caring, friendly place.

My sister moved into Vitality Living on [date removed] and so far she and I have been very pleased with the care and services. Vitality is a friendly, welcoming place, with a range of activities for all levels of residents. There are plenty of parties and holiday celebrations that have been great fun. According to my sister, the food is great. The caretakers are attentive and kind. They are prompt to help when they are needed. Our experience so far has been very positive. They care about the residents. The facility is being renovated, which has caused some disruption to the flow of residents on the first floor. The renovations is scheduled to be completed in December. In the meantime, the dining area is crowded, and the space in the front of the building is under construction. Once completed the area should look great. Assisted living is expensive however, Vitality’s room and assistance was well within the budget we set. My sister is in a wheel chair and at Vitality we were able to locate a room with a handicap bathroom with a large shower. Alo her apartment is large enough to move around in her wheelchair. Many other facilities in the area have small rooms and very few have handicapped bathrooms.

Review for Landmark Lifestyles at Tupelo

Before choosing any facility, try to do a walk-through with your loved one, if they can't be with you, FaceTime them as you walk through.! also consider the distance between the facility and where you live.

our family's experience

My biggest problem is that the director does not interact with the residents very much. My parents have lived there for a year, and I don't believe he has spoken to them more than 3 times. The rest of the staff is great. The caregivers and nursing staff are great! When they first moved in, the food was good. In the last few months, it is not as good.

Warm and Welcoming for Senior

Landmark Lifestyles assisted living has been a wonderful experience for my 90 year old aunt. The office and floor staff are friendly, always helpful, and treat each resident as an individual. The medical team is incredibly skilled and attentive, always ensuring that each resident receives personalized and compassionate care. The dining room is spacious and elegantly decorated and the chef prepares delicious meals that are as visually appealing as they are tasty. The entire facility is beautifully decorated and has plenty of seating areas for both residents and visitors. I must also mention the maintenance department because any problem or concern is addressed promptly. There is even a dog park which is a special touch. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for my aunt and her dog to live.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I was impressed to see the level of knowledge that nurses and caregivers have dealing with residents with dementia and some with behaviors. I know it's a hard job. But it's good to see that our loved ones are treated well. Areas are well lit and clean. I was there during lunch and the meal looked and smelled great. Activities after lunch are usually the larger ones, but I always enjoy sitting with them during it.
