Mom is very happy with the staff, food and her apt. The activities are lacking but that is more her as she really doesn't socialize.

We were greeted warmly at Maristone. Our guide was very informative and answered all of our questions. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I liked the wide halls and the hominess. Maristone has an activities director to encourage residents to socialize and be engaged. I found it to be very acceptable for my husband.

The place was clean and everyone was friendly. The assisted living room was spacious and the activities for the day were posted.

I really like this facility I like the amount of residents, all the available amenities. I am hoping my Dad will end up living here!

Huge rooms, great location. Friendly atmosphere, I would recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone.

Maristone is a very nice facility and it’s nicely organized and decorated. The staff seems very friendly. However the price of a shared room in memory care is higher than a single memory care room in other places. So the math speaks for itself.

The entire staff is friendly. My mom loves participating in the activities and hanging out with her "new fiends". She said the meals are delicious. The apartment is perfect size for her! Placing my mom in assisted living after living with me for 4 years was gut wrenching but after 3-4 days she was thriving, a smile was back in her eyes because she was no longer bored at home. Daily activities with people her age gave her purpose again. Two months later she's very happy and so am I with the decision to place her here!

I visited Chandler Park Assisted Living recently to visit one of the residents and I just say this is a beautiful facility ! Everything is so tastefully decorated and the grounds are so neatly kept. Very inviting atmosphere and the staff that I encountered were all so friendly . If I ever have to move into a facility I would want to be here!

Rachael was wonderful in our meetings. She was prompt, polite and encouraging. The room we picked would over look their beautiful pond. The place feels very home like and had a good feeling. Unfortunately our mother loves the nursing home that she currently lives. We could not get her to look at summit but my brother and I looked at 5 places and decided on that one. I would rate a 5 but mom never made the move. At 102 we left it up to her!

Very communicative and friendly and accommodating. We signed on to hold the spot as they had a first floor 1bedroom coming open. They will be remodeling the room to current standards before we move in. The rates were a little higher than I thought they would be based on some places I had checked earlier but we went with it as it checked all Moms boxes and was close to us!

Cleanliness I rated a four because sometimes I have to go find a cleaning person if my dad has had an accident. Quality of care I rated a four because when my father first moved in, there were some aides who didn't appear to be very caring or dedicated to their job on a consistent basis, but the two I was concerned about have quit and their replacements are doing very well. Food I rated a four because often the food is difficult to chew for those who have few or no teeth left. However, the dining room staff is very accommodating and will make something softer if a resident asks for it. Overall, this is a very nice and clean establishment with exceptional front office staff and receptionists, lots of activities, a nice gym and an excellent Director of Nursing who is always willing to work with family members. The marketing Director, who worked with me to get my father moved in to Forest Hills Commons has retired and I do not know the new marketing Director so I cannot make a comment about her. I have met all of the other staff, and they are very kind and caring. The Director of Nursing and the accounting lady are extremely professional and very welcoming and accommodating. I can't recommend them enough.

The staff at Avalon have all been very approachable and inviting. The facility is by far the nicest of the numerous communities that we visited. There seem to be a wide variety of activities. On site access to PT, skilled nursing, and other services was also a key deciding factor.

They would all be 5 except the administrative responsiveness has been lacking. I'd rate it as a 3. It may be because the director is out on sick leave at the moment. Hopefully, it will improve.

We are so pleased with mother's transition and the entire staff's attention to her more than we could've hoped for. She is thriving and doing well. We would recommend others tour, visit, and spend time at Avalon. We found the program manager and nursing manager to be focused on mother's physical and medication management needs addressed directly from the start. That was most important to us. The nursing staff doesn't miss a beat. And the residential staff is always attentive. They have taken the time to meet her likes.

[Name Removed] was definitely a 5. The head dietician went far beyond to provide delicious meals with my hubby's food restrictions. I found the staff to be very supportive and caring. Many have become like family.

I give them 5 stars. The place is always clean. Good variety of activities. Staff has been fantastic as my mother's care needs have increased. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The management has always responded quickly to my inquiries.

The tour [name removed] provided showcased the daily very well. She introduced me to the nurses on site as well as other staff members who would help make my moms transition easier. [name removed] was also extremely helpful navigating through the paperwork. I look forward to seeing my mom thrive at The Summit of Edgewood.

[Name Removed] provided a wonderful tour and followed up with us on a regular basis! She was a great resource in highlighting all of the services and amenities they could provide for my 82 YO mother. And Chandler Park is such a great facility! It’s now on our list of potentials for me and my husband!
