Transforming Age

This community was very nice we liked it.Since it was just recently renovated everything was new and clean very updated. On the tour, the staff was helpful and nice. My husband took time to talk to the residents and any of their family members to get a sense as to how they liked living here and everyone seemed to agree it was a good place. They seem to offer quite a few activities to keep the residents busy.

My mother is well here in this community.

Didn't meet my needs; too large and I think my mom would get lost. The assisted-living bedrooms were nice and I was impressed by their dining area (2 entree options at meals and very flexible dining hours). Toured the Memory Care secured area, which my mom might eventually need, and that area felt depressing.

Considering the community is far away and it was not as nice looking, this was not the right fit. From the outside it looked like a dungeon but when you got into the building it looked nice. I noticed that it seemed crowded and I was not connecting with the atmosphere.

So far I'am pretty pleased with my move to this community. It is a nice community. I would suggest that they have some type of orientation to the community. Other than that issue everything seems to be working out well. I've met a nice residents that are willing to show me around the community. It is a well-kept community. For the most part they do a good job with the cleanliness. I'am still getting adjusted to the routine around the community, but overall I would recommend this community.

When I toured Heathers Manor, I thought it was very nice. It was much nicer than the independent living building. The reason I did not chose this community was because I was looking for a place that had independent and assisted living in the same building.

AlmaVia was a nice facility, but they were not for what we were looking for. They could accommodate one but not the other. We wanted my aunt and uncle to stay together as of we chose this community they would have to separate them because of their different levels of care.

This community would have been a good choice, however it was just a little to far away. The community was nice and the staff were wonderful when we visited. They had large rooms available.

This looked like a nice community when we visited. The staff I met were nice. This community allows pets and they offer daily activities.

We toured this community when looking for my parents. The staff was friendly and it was clean. We decided on another option in the area because Heather Estates had a longer wait on the Elderly Waver Program.

We had a very rocky road in relocating mom from out of state. The folks at the Rivers did everything they could to smooth things out for her. Her apartment is beautiful and the staff have been very attentive . We looked at several places, this was the best!

I had a nice view of the community. I got to see empty apartments and met the people there. The apartments were nice but not as huge as I wanted. When I came for a tour I got the feeling I was buying a used car and the staff were more interested in the sales than me.

It is fantastic the environment suit my mom very well. It's nice and well taken care of and they have a bunch of activities going on all the time in the great room. We like the nice indoor pool that is heated open to family members. The family can come to swim especially since being in Minnesota. The staff are welcoming every time we visit. Mom likes they have younger residents around her age.

My tour of The Rivers went well, but the place was expensive and an advanced level of care for what my mother needs. There were people just sitting around and were not as social as the community we chose. It was a nice place but just not what we were looking for.

My tour of the Heathers Manor went very well. The staff was all very friendly and knowledgeable. The place, from what I was able to see, was very clean. The reason we did not choose this community was simply because of the area it was in.

Everything is going great for my parents since their move to this community. I know they are safe and in good place. Everything has worked out very well, and I'am pleased with all they have done for us. Everything about this community is great.

This is where mom was suppose to go then we ended up needing a different type of community. The staff is good. Mom liked this place a lot and that was what mattered. It is a older community and a little ran down, but they always had it cleaned.

This is a nice community, but I found it more to be like a hotel then a community for my mom. The staff was very nice and caring. They had nice meals and a good variety to choose from. "i would recommend this to other familes for great care.
