I took a tour of The Princess Martha and was invited by the marketing director to stay for lunch after my tour. No other place offered lunch. Wendy was a breath of fresh air she wasn’t pushy or rushing to get rid of me. You could tell that she was very proud of The Princess Martha and loves her residents. She introduced me to a lot of the residents as well as employees including the Executive Director [name removed] whom I believe [name removed] said has worked for the company over 18 years. How often do you hear that? Everyone I met was smiling and happy to be there! I had lunch with some fantastic individuals. The sever was wonderful as well. I was amazed when my lunch was brought to me. It looked great and tasted even better. Everything was hot and tasted delicious. The Chef even came out to say hello After enjoying my lunch I met with Wendy and signed paperwork for my new home. Thank you Princess Martha Staff Members and residents for being one of a kind! I am proud to be part of this community.

Our family had an in person tour with Spring Haven and it was a nice tour experience but we did not like the multiple floor levels, and they were currently remodeling. Everything was kind of dated, but they are working on that

The Plaza was recently purchased by another company and there have been menu changes. For the 1st several weeks meals were served in Styrofoam containers. Apparently there was enough of an uproar they are again using glass products for meals. The weekend breakfast menu only has scrambled eggs as an egg option. No fried or over easy which we are not happy with. The cleaning staff does a great job in the individual apartments as well as the common areas. The maintenance crew goes above and beyond. The Plaza is centrally located and is 2 blocks from the bus stop. The transportation policy is a longer distance for Dr Appts and such than most other locations offer. The Lakeland VA as well as Watsons Clinics and Lakeland Hospital are all within 10 miles of the facility. Overall, we are very happy with this location.

There is a bug roaches infestation in the building but particular on my sister's floor. I go over to spray every Sunday and based on the cost I pay for her to be there this should not happen. The food is really subpar. They serve cold food that should be hot more than two times a week. The other days the meat is over cooked or partially raw. They run out if stuff on a frequent basis. The wait staff is amazing but they have a labor issue. The head chef might need to seek other employment at a bar. On most days when I have seen him he either appears to be slightly high or intoxicated or both. His appearance always looks as if he has not had a bath and have not had a shave in many months. He just does not appear to be up to part for this type of place. That does not mean he is not a good person just that it appears that he does not care and it is reflected in the food that is served. They have a lot of activities. Based on the cost i would expect the things i listed to be at a minimum. Every place will have some problems but the Food should not be one and the bug infestation Should not be one. We have moved to another unit because of water intrusion from the windows and walls from the outside. This also came with a termites infestation. The second unit we encountered the same problem. Water coming in through the windows and termites. This is all within a three month period of moving in. If I knew these issues existed I would not have moved my sister in there. I pay [fee removed] a month and moved her from well maintained house with no bug problems and no water issues flooding her floors when it rains. We are between a rock and a hard place because of available places. However, I am looking to move her from The Princes Martha Place. This could be great place but they need to make some changes and quickly. Just for the record my challenges there are shared by a fair amount of the residents that I hear talking over dinner or on the property.

I like living at Spring Haven. I have made several close friends. The activities and social hours are nice! My apartment is cleaned every week. They have therapy services if you need them. They have been doing a lot of really nice renovations to the place.

The entire staff is always willing to help. 1. Excellent front desk staff (friendly and helpful) 2. Excellent dining staff (friendly, always smiling, and willing to assist you with meal selections. They are very patient!! 3. Management and staff willing to help you with your needs.

Frankly, I'm very happy here. It isn't perfect, but I don't think of being anywhere else. I enjoy cards, chatting with friends, walking the grounds, mealtime with friends, reading, and using the library computer.

My brother lived here for 5 years before he passed away 2 mos ago. I was comforted knowing he was supremely happy there. I have never experienced such caring staff and happy residents in the many senior living establishments I've visited over the years.

I am an outside professional and frequently visit Spring Haven. They have very friendly and outgoing staff and activities that engage the residents. They are also motivated to make the building look amazing for the residents. The renovations they have been doing are making the building look even more beautiful. They have repaired the potholes in the parking lot, added beautiful new landscaping, and are currently adding new flooring and paint to all areas of the building. I am excited to see when it's all finished.

My mother lived at Spring Haven for several years. She started in Independent Living. She had to move to Memory Care. She had a favorite housekeeper and she really enjoyed talking to her. She called one of our care staff her big teddy bear. She had been an introvert her entire live, and I was surprised and so happy to see her come out of her shell and do things that she wouldn't normally do. This is a wonderful place, and you wouldn't regret placing your loved one here!

I've lived at Spring Haven for over 3 years. I've lived at another community in Winter Haven, but I didn't like it there. Spring Haven gives that warm, welcoming, home feeling. The staff is amazing, and everyone is so friendly here! I have made a lot of friends and we enjoy the outings and the parties.

If you are considering an independent, active, 55+ years community for yourself, a friend, or a loved one, please put The Princess Martha at the top of your list. Our monthly calendar is rich with enjoyable daily activities. The elegant decor entrance and lobby are showstoppers year round, but especially at Christmas. Arrange a tour, discover our amenities, and a friendly ‘Welcome Home’.

I toured this community with my in laws and what a spectacular community. The décor is gorgeous as soon as you step in the lobby it is like a 1920's feel! The apts are modern and spacious and the building is great! roof top pool, amazing dining room that I have not seen anywhere else and a great location in the heart of downtown St. Pete . The staff at The Princess Martha were all SO friendly everyone greeted us with a smile and warm hello. My in laws loved it all and see this as their future home!

I toured The Princess Martha and could not believe my eyes! The place itself was absolutely beautiful however the thing that stuck with me and made me chose The Princess Martha was the amount of smiling faces I seen! I did not see anyone without a smile from the minute I walked in and met the receptionist and through out my tour with the Marketing Director everyone was smiling and happy to be there! The staff members were engaged and you felt the love they had for their residents as well as their coworkers! I would suggest other communities reach out and find out where The Princess Martha recruited their employees!! Kudos to The Princess Martha for your outstanding employees!!

I came here because I brought my mother here in 2000. She was in memory care. They were so good to her, and I loved the community. That's what made me want to come here. I have lived at Spring Haven for 4 years. I don't have any complaints. The trips are great. If I ever give up my car, I am sure they will get me to my appointments.

I had a great tour at Spring Haven today! I walked in and had the opportunity to meet the ED [name removed]. He was very hospitable and toured us around the community. The facility is looking nice due to recent renovations. [name removed] informed us that TJM properties purchased the community on [date removed] and you can tell they truly care about the property. They have renovated the front lobby and multiple common area hallways. When I came today they were in the process of adding new landscaping and redoing the parking lot. This community is going to be a gem for the Winter Haven community!

I took my mother to tour The Princess Martha. She was greeted by the friendliest individuals from Staff Member to the residents that reside there. My mother stated that The Princess Martha is where she wanted to be. They all made her feel at home! Needless to say my mother will be a new family member at The Princess Martha!! Thank you to every staff member and resident that made my mother feel so loved!

I had a wonderful tour here! I was looking for a place for my mother and wanted to see it before bringing her to see it. I came back for a second tour and mom loved it and put a deposit down. The transition was very easy and the staff and residents were very nice and welcoming. I Highly recommend this community for you or your loved one!!
