My mother-in-law was looking for care for her mother, my husband's grandmother, and was getting overwhelmed feeling like she had to manage every detail on her own. I was shopping at the Alamo Safeway and ran into Home Care Assistance around the corner on a whim. [Removed], their lovely Client Care Manager gave me a ton of information and immediately set up a call with my mother-in-law, who lives in La Jolla. After they spoke on the phone, we had a plan in place and have been working with a wonderful caregiver named [Removed], who has been a godsend. [Removed] has remained in close contact and has even helped introduce our family to other senior care professionals to help my grandmother-in-law. The team is fantastic, on call 24/7 and happy to help when we need it. Such a relief for all of us.

Everything is going well for my mother since she started to receive home care from this agency. As far as I know they are doing well, and they are pleased with the help they have been provided with. Overall I'am satisfied with the services my mother is receiving from this home care agency.

Life savers. I tried many places, for several months, they all did one thing or another but these people do almost anything. They are flexible professional and most of all understanding and caring. Everyone they have sent has been professsional, nice and caring. If I said everything I know to be true about them you will think this is a fake review. This is only the third time I have ever written a review.

[Removed] have both been kind and very supportive to me and my mother at this challenging time in our lives. [Removed] has gone out of her way to help me connect with many supportive agencies, legal advisors and Alzheimer's programs in our community. Her guidance was sincere and a Godsend to me. I like the care that we have received from this service. The staff was helpful in getting us someone as soon as needed. The caretaker we had was nice and was able to help with physical activities. We decided on Home Care Assistance and it was a great choice. The nurse in charge does a great job. We are happy with the services from the caregiver that goes to my father's home. It has been a good fit so far.

It is going much better for my friend since moving into this home. We have to never worry about a caregiver being there. One is always available in the home. They are very professional and they do all that I request and call me back and keep me updated. The meals, activities, and cleanliness has been suitable for me.

The caregiver's from Home Care Assistance of the Grand Strand were very helpful the could of times that they went to my parent's home. [Removed] was remarkable, she was a great source even after they were not receiving care from them.

I appreciate [Removed] willingness to meet with my Dad so quickly and her concern for our situation. Her 15 years of experience in elderly care and navigating through the Medicare process is excellent. Other advantages to this company are their ability to network and coordinate care across state borders. In addition they perform psychological testing when selecting caregivers as well as comprehensive background checks. We selected this company.

Home Care Assistance provided very caring and professional caregivers for my elderly parent during a long hospital stay. They helped to ease the burden on our family and also eased the stress on a confused patient by providing personal care and attention. I believe their personal attention helped with his recovery.

We were happy to get in home assistance for our my mother in law, who is wheelchair bound with MS. This service is very convenient and reliable. They sent us a great selection of care takers who were able to assist with personal needs required. They were mostly on time and reliable for what was required. We would easily recommend this service to other families for great care and services.

So far we haven't had any complaints. The first girl they sent was wonderful, we really liked her. The second girl they sent seems to be working out pretty good too. We haven't had any problems at all.

They were incredible. Emily from Home Care assistance was there when my mom passed away, and she was so tender and so good with my mom. We couldn't have asked for a kinder more compassionate caregiver. They have been nothing but professional and top notch from day one. They have done an absolutely phenomenal job. The word professional gets kicked around a lot, but they were so professional. I have been so impressed and so glad we connected with them.
