My sister was here for about three months. She has since recovered and moved back into her own place. As far as i know, everything went well and she did not have any complaints about the staff or the facility.

So far, everything is going well. The staff is very professional and attentive to the patients. The place is also nice and clean which is an added plus. The activities seem fun and the food is not bad at all. Great for a retirement community.

I moved into Pathways on the park in the fall of 1999 with my mother, This apartment & community works for us. I have made several friends & you can participate as much or as little as you want in the building, There has been staff turnover but overall I would give the staff a B+. I wish there was an elevator to the garage. I feel I have consistently received good value for my money.

Our experience at River Commons has been wonderful! Karen, the manager, is very professional and knowledgeable. She made the entire process (from touring the facility to moving our relative into the facility) a very positive experience. It is obvious that the residents truly love her. She is a very kind and patient person and it is apparent in all her actions that she is passionate about her job. The facility is always clean and the residents always seem to be happy and very pleasant. We are very comfortable knowing that our relative is part of a community that is managed by Karen.

We love it here. No cooking, no shopping, no cleaning up. The staff is great. Our apartment is adequate for our needs. We even have our small dog with us. The food is just okay, but we are okay with it.

My father has been living here for a few months. He loves the size and brightness of his new apartment. Staff are most accommodating and pleasant. Food is excellent in quality, taste, presentation, and variety. I did an extensive search of facilities in the area before choosing Regal and am very glad I chose this one. I sleep well at night knowing he's in a very caring, clean, thoughtful environment.

i thought this was a very beautiful community as well , this would have been my second choice for my mother. Everything was great. The place was nicely laid out and there was plenty of room. Definitely a must see community for those looking. I was quite impressed.

An incredible place to live. The 2 negative comments are from one disgruntled resident. Ask us residents about our quality of life, and our love for our Director. It's a shame they cannot be sued for libel.

I live a few states away so have not been able to monitor things too closely, but overall I have been very impressed. The initial process of getting us all set up went very smoothly. My aunt seems very happy there. The care has been really good. She tells me that they are very helpful and very nice. The facility itself is also very nice and quite pleasant. One area where they could improve would be the food.

could use more activities. bingo and wine and cheese get-togethers not enough. most important. request a item or have a need, this community steps up and gets it done! It is well worth a visit.

I used Chandler Place as a respite care for weekend away for my father. The staff was wonderful at ensuring that he'd be looked after and added just a little extra care to ensure he enjoyed his time. I liked the fact that they could do a short term respite. Many others seems to have a minimum. This was also very helping in "trialing" an assisted living situation. My father is not exactly needing Assisted Living yet, but there may come a time, and Chandler Place will be on my "short list".

Any time there is a problem or question, they respond and take care of it right away. The food is also really good!

Mom has vascular dememtia so it was important we find a home with a memory care center, which Amethyst has. There were some difficulties getting her situation resolved before I could move her anywhere, everyone at Amethyst was patient, kind and very understanding, they never pushed. Finally, when we had resolved the situation at her former house, Amethyst staff worked with me in getting her into a clean, bright one bedroom apt. Mom went from screaming at me "I'm not going to move out of my house!" To now asking me why we didn't do this months ago. She's meeting people, eating regularly and more mentally alert and aware than she has been in months. To us, Amethyst is the perfect combination of a lovely facility with a great staff. We feel very lucky. Finally, in comparison to the many choices out there, their costs are a bit lower - especially for all the services they provide. Everyone I've worked with truly has Mom's best interest at heart and they've been demonstrating that since she's moved in. I highly recommend them and I did extensive homework.

Really liked it, but my mom didn't want to be that far away. It's by the water. I remember that the price was depending on how much of a view you have of the water.

We looked at several communities in the Surprise, Sun City area for my dad and Amethyst just felt like the right place. Everything just seemed to fit from location, to ambiance, to sincerity of the staff. We were really surprised as it came in as one of the less expensive on our list and were happily surprised as it really was one of the nicest. Since my dad has been there it's been a great experience and he's really happy. What a relief. I would recommend to anyone needing a warm, special environment for their parent.

I cannot rate the meals and dining services as well as the activities because I did not observe. During our loved ones stay I was mostly out of town and not within the facility so it is hard to say what we liked more or if they had room for improvements, but based on the experience we would recommend the community to other families.

My mother passed away in [date removed], but she really enjoyed her time at The Commons and got the very best of care. I do, and I have recommended them and A Place For Mom, whenever a question comes up on social media sites.

When it comes to the meals, we know that our loved one does not like them. We do like that most of the aides will join in with residents and talk with them. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend them to other families.

My dad was a veteran and they were very good at recognizing and honoring veterans. I do wish the staff were a little more attenive. Overall it was a great facility.

Mom moved into Chandler Place in [date removed] in independent living. Her apartment is perfect for one person. Laundry machines are free and convenient on her floor. Nursing staff have been very helpful with bringing in outside medical services including primary doctor, physical therapy, and lab testing. The food in the dining room is very good, and reasonably priced. The building is older than other facilities I toured, but it's solid and well-maintained. There is an outdoor fountain and walking path near garden plots that residents maintain. Mom is happy to be here!
